Strengths:
[+] Reach: The Firemaw was built with long range capabilities in mind, after the Eighth Battle of Ruusan. Firemane needed something with a longer reach, the tank has a 10KM range for air and ground.
[+] Busted: This tank also comes with some armor-busting capabilities. Such as heavy tanks, buildings, and walkers.
Weaknesses:
[-] Tin Can: The Firemaw was built with speed and offensive capabilities in mind, at the sacrifice of her armor.
[-] Ammo Racked: A hit to the Firemaw’s ammunition rack will result in an instant-death for the tank and the crew who are in it.
[-] Direct Hit!: The Firemaw should never present her rear to the enemy, her armor is weakest on this part of her frame. A single direct hit will result in massive loss of life, if not right out kill-shot.
[-] Immobile Firing: With a heavy gun like a rail for the main gun, the Firemaw; cannot move on the run, must be set down off of her repulsors and then she may begin firing. She has a long reload time of forty-five seconds, in addition, there is a recoil/knockback when firing that does push the tank back, even with her repulsors disengaged.
Description: Shortly after the Eighth Battle of Ruusan, Owner/Operator Siobhan Kerrigan knew that her arsenal needed a little more flexibility. That flexibility being additional long range capabilities, the Firemaw was designed by in cooperation with both the Paramilitary and Armor Production - in house - within the company. Giving the Firemaw a repulsor ensured the tank’s ability to get where it needed to be faster - a lot faster than traditional tracks.
The Firemaw while built with speed and armament in mind did so at the cost of her armor. She hits you, you’re gone - you hit her, more than likely she’ll be gone. The Firemaw medium anti-vehicle tank will roll off the lines soon, and be ready for her maiden tour. She’ll be assigned to some of the more veteran tank commanders who survive the Battle of Castameer.
