SPECIAL FEATURES
High capacity long range laser pistol
Extreme accuracy
Capable of being modified to fire different types of laser energy, as well as being fitted with both stock and small scopes.
Stealth settings eliminate both noise and reduce laserbolt glare and visibility.
Strengths:
Stealthed: Because the weapon was low powered and relatively simple it was easier to modify with specialized parts to eliminate noise from the weapon beyond the pull of the trigger itself, and the glare of its laser bolt is reduced in glare, making it harder to spot at a moderate or far distance.
Mods!: It can be fitted with different lenses and galvinization circuits for specific energy outputs to its laser bolts, giving mild incendiary effects, cryoban like effects, or electrifying the laser bolt. It can also be fitted with stocks and small scopes
Extreme rate of fire: On full auto it can empty its entire ammo in less than three seconds, making this pistol particularly deadly at close ranges
Extreme accuracy: if an enemy is in its sights, there is a very, very good chance they could get hit.
Long Range: Its accuracy is aided by its range, which is as long as a standard blaster rifle
Very Low Recoil: Like a feather
High capacity: Can deal with most conventional threats by having a large ammo capacity
Weaknesses:
Weak: Its not strong enough to penetrate anything beyond light armor. In addition it must hit you in an area that would be obviously fatal, otherwise there is a good chance you could survive even a gut wound.
Tracer Rounds: Though its hard to spot at long range, at close range its obvious that rather than firing standard bolts, it fires a long thin beam that can be traced directly to its origin.
Overheat: Fire it on full auto too often runs the risk of burning out some of the circuits, requiring it to be repaired.
Ion: Exposure to Ion will completely shut its circuits down for three minutes
Overspecialized: More an emergency tool for small crowds and quick assassinations than something meant to be used for full scale heavy combat.
DESCRIPTION
First Degree Burn is The Amalgam's personal side arm, a back up in case her lightsaber or the Force can't do the talking. Taking inspiration from ancient Sith Assassin pistols, The Amalgam crafted her side arm to be used in torture in a limited capacity, yet be lethal when needed to be. As it is a laser pistol, as opposed to a true blaster, its shots lack stopping power save in areas where a hit would obviously fatal, such as the head or heart, and can be modified to carry out any number of missions, and even comes with a full auto setting in addition to its naturally fast trigger pull. Though a specialized weapon ultimately, when wielded correctly, it is absolutely lethal.
