Historial Information
The 1st Expeditionary Fleet, and by extension the 3rd Carrier Line, traces its formation to the years preceding the Alliance's Stygian Campaign. Devised as the trial run of a series of expeditionary groups, with the goal of quickly responding to developing threats across Alliance borders, the 1st Expeditionary would make its debut with a mere two flotillas. But, with the development of the Stygian campaign, and growing fears from the civilian populace, the fleet was expanded to having six flotillas; while the idea was put into further execution with the creation of the 2nd Expeditionary Fleet.
The 3rd Carrier Line itself would be first assigned to the command of Commodore Kathause, a pilot-turned-line-officer,whose aptitude toward starfighter tactics became the basis of the unit's early composition. With the Liberator-class ANV Pegasus crowned the unit's flagship, the 3rd Expeditionary, as its name was shortened to, found itself first participating in battles along the Alliance-Silver Jedi Concord borders, aswell as taking part in the Concord's campaigns against the Bryn in a gesture of good faith.
After the Battle of Sev Tok ended in a Bryn victory, the decision was made to pull the 3rd Expeditionary Squadron from Concordian space, by request of the Commodore herself, and approved by a high command who instead allocated the group to the freshly-formed Outbound Flight Program to take full advantage of the unit's capabilities in scouting and exploration.
As the years began to pass, the 3rd was quickly, and violently drawn away from its exploration of the frontier. With Csilla's fiery destruction, and the rapid spread of the Brotherhood of the Maw throughout the galaxy, the line was drawn to the vanguard of the Alliance's efforts, fighting in military actions over Adrathorpe, over Kril'Dor. In the latter skirmish, the 3rd Carrier Line would be crippled, losing its flagship and a swath of its personnel in a devastating Mawite counterstrike, taken out of service temporarily as a result.
It was after a month of deliberation and coordination with the Alliance admiralty that the line was released from spacedock with a new flagship at its head: the ANV Cadence. Trailing a thick flame of vengeance behind it, the 3rd Carrier Line would return to the frontier of GA space, metal talons drawn in readiness for the Maw's return.

PCs
- Commanding Officer - Commodore Liedran Kathause
- Updating Roster/Mission Board
- Captain Faefe D'Nea
- Species: Human [Corellian-Pantoran Hybrid]
- Rank: Captain
- Vessel: ANV Cadence
- Description: Originally Cadence's officer-of-the-deck, Faefe was catapulted into a position of responsibility following a disastrous incident over Adrathorpe that saw the deaths of a quarter of the vessel's command staff, including its commanding officer. In her new role as captain of the Cadence, D'Nea serves as Commodore Kathause's aide-de-camp, coordinating strategy throughout the line in addition to her traditional command duties.
- Personality Blurb: The grisly fate of her predecessor has left Faefe a cynical person. She is hardly open about her own emotions, often spending her free time in solitude, waiting in her quarters for her next duty shift with little-to-no interaction with other officers. When on the bridge, Faefe appears dutiful and professional-- carrying a dignified atmosphere that keeps the rest of the crew silent about her isolationist tendencies.
- Captain Nyssk Sansern
- Species: Trandoshan
- Rank: Captain
- Vessel: ANV Rhapsody
- Description: The lone survivor found on a derelict Trandoshan transport, Nyssk was denied the opportunity to grow up amongst hunters, instead adopting a human-like series of mannerisms and behaviors. Rather than responding to the call of the hunt, Nyssk chose to enlist in the GADF at the moment he reached adulthood, rising to the rank of captain through a mixture of inherent tenacity and adopted patience.
- Personality Blurb: Having been raised to adulthood in the core, Nyssk prides himself on being a restrained and collected commanding officer. His intimidating appearance serves only to mask a personality that some crewmembers would describe as "cuddly." But even these hidden aspects of his personality do not tell Nyssk's full story. Owing to his Trandoshan birth, the captain carries the blood of a warrior under his skin, and possesses a ruthlessness and tenacity that far outweighs that of his peers.
- Commander Deleen Khzi
- Species: Rodian
- Rank: Commander
- Vessel: ANV Dauntless
- Description: Like Captain D'Nea, Deleen is the product of another leap in rank motivated by the line's casualties. Before the events of Adrathorpe awarded her the dubious honor of a new command, Khzi served as the first officer aboard the frigate ANV Prelude. When the crippled vessel was struck by a piece of debris from the lifeless husk that once was Csilla, the frigate's command deck was sent hurling into space, retaining enough atmospheric pressure for Deleen to be lifted from the wreckage and put through rehabilitation. Upon her release from an Alliance hospital, she was reassigned to the Dauntless to serve as the cruiser's commander.
- Personality Blurb: Behind empty Rodian eyes, Deleen hides nightmares of her near-death experience over Adrathorpe. Behind the layers of fabric on her uniform, she hides deep-running scars, physical and psychological alike. Rather unlike Captain D'nea, Deleen spends her free time with others, relying on friendly interactions to ease the burdens of her disastrous career.
