The Journey
Aayaith had just completed her training with the Luka Sene when she decided on travelling to Kashyyyk to join the Silver Jedi Order. It was common for Miralukans to become Jedi due to their natural connection to the force and little interest in personal gain or glory, few before her had travelled from the Luka Sene to join the noble cause of the Jedi, and so she would join the few.

Aayaith was taking a ride with an individual who was travelling to Kashyyyk, thankfully her homeplanet, Alpheridies, was not too far from the planet of the Jedi so the journey did not take a substantial amount of time..

She was then dropped down on the planet, a far distance from the Silver Rest, a Jedi temple, she was further guided by the locals to the location of the temple. She travelled, concealing her identity as much as possible as she wasn't sure if her race would be accepted by the inhabitants of the planet.. All she could do is hope.

The Walk
Aayaith began her long walk through the mountains, she could somewhat make out what the planet looked like but could not see its beauty the way a human would see it. She pressed on, hoping she could make it to the temple before dark. After a few hours of walking she finally made it over the mountains. The temple was glowing bright with the force, as she could see. Clearly this had to be what she was looking for since she arrived on Kashyyyk.

At The Temple
Aayaith walked into the grounds of the temple. She asked a few of the Jedi where she should look to join the order, they pointed her in the direction of a large building which she could only assume was the temple. It looked like that would be a good place to start asking questions. She walked up to the doors of the building, she could not admire the architecture but she could admire the force passing through.

Once she entered the temple she lowered her hood and was unsure where to look so she started looking around for someone to speak to, so she awaited to be approached by someone...

As much Jyoti preferred being out in the field, the new Grandmaster found herself hanging around the Rest more often to carry out her duties. Still, she wouldn't resign herself to sit in her office all day handling admin work. She liked to wander around, teach classes, hang around the back of the training fields, etc. Soon, the once-reclusive Shadow had become a regular fixture on the campus grounds, the tall Echani always easy to pick out in her flowing white robes.

One of her favorite things to do was hang around the hospitality center, being one of the first faces that visitors and prospective students saw as they entered the main building of the Silver Rest.

In the hospitality center, she could be seen moving through the room, sharing greetings and making small talk with people. There were so many younglings about that she even had a small bagful of candy to dole out. In the times of old, Jedi had been known to snatch up young Force Sensitives almost right out of the cradle, but these days, people brought their children to the campus willingly. (With the understanding that they could visit or withdraw their child from the SJO at any time.)

The Silver Rest was a much a sanctuary as it was a learning institution, providing even neutral Force Sensitives a safe haven away from people who may otherwise attempt to exploit their abilities for their own ends. Too often, Force Sensitives were reduced to little more than living weapons. Here they could flourish and retain and be treated like a real person.

After playing with a pair of Rodian twins a bit, Jyoti rose from her knee to see yet another person walking through the doors of the center, a woman who was (physically) blind by the looks of it. Her wrap style of eye cover immediately reminded the Echani of a Miralukan. Quite a few of them existed within the SJO today.

Studying her more carefully, Jyoti couldn't help but think of the similarities in appearance the woman shared with an older member of the Silver Order, who also happened to be blind.

Was this just a coincidence, or yet another cosmic joke for the Avatar?

"Well hello there," she said as she came close, extending a hand. "Welcome to the Silver Rest, how may I help you today?"

The Echani didn't immediately identify herself as the Grandmaster. She liked to engage with new people as if she was just a random Jedi, making people more comfortable to be more forthcoming. Too often, she ran into the problem of people trying to tell her what they thought she wanted to hear, rather than the truth.

First Greeting
"Greetings!" Aayaith said to the Jedi, bowing her head slightly in respect. She lowered her hood as she was now indoors, "I'm looking for the Silver Jedi Order, am I in the correct place?" she questioned, accepting the Jedi's handshake. Aayaith couldn't see exactly what she looked like, however she could see a great level of force radiating off of her. She had a good feeling that she was in the correct place.

Even though the temple where she was standing was completely foreign, Aayaith felt completely comfortable being there. Surrounded by positivity and harmony, it reminded her of home.

The woman had a strong aura about her, but that was no surprise if she was indeed Miralukan. By necessity, virtually all of them were Force Sensitive to a degree. She could already guess what the woman was seeking coming here.

"No, I'm afraid you have the wrong place," Jyoti replied as they shook hands. "This is the Bronze Jedi Order."

She really shouldn't have teased, but the Echani was in good spirits that day from playing with children, and it was all meant in good fun.

"Yes, you found us. I'm Jyoti, and who you might you be?"

The Greeting (2)
Aayaith smirked and nodded her head in acknowledgement of the Jedi's joke. "Yes, you found us. I'm Jyoti, and who you might you be?" she asked Aayaith. "My name is Aayaith and I'm hoping to join your cause" she explained to Jyoti. She noticed something different about Jyoti.. something she wasn't letting on. Perhaps she was an important official of the order, or perhaps she was a regular Jedi, such as the others. Whichever it was it didn't matter to her as the sense of community seemed compelling to her, which drove her to fall in love with everything she sensed.

"Do you happen to accept alumnae from offword organisations?" Aayaith quizzed the Jedi, tilting her head, out of sheer curiosity. She smiled at the Jedi, awaiting a positive response...

Jyoti perked up as Aayaith stated her intent to join Silver Order. It was always good news when a new person was incorporated into their ranks.

"We do, actually. I actually started with another Jedi Organization before transferring to the SJO." In a few years, she had gone from being a complete outsider to Grandmaster. "And to be clear, you can remain part of your original organization while working with the SJO. Feel free to come and go as you please."

She glanced over at the exit. "Would you care to join me on a quick tour of the ground as we speak?"

The Tour
Aayaith grinned and nodded her head as Jyoti spoke, everything seemed perfect about the Jedi Order. "Would you care to join me on a quick tour of the ground as we speak?" she asked Aayaith. "Of course! that would be wonderful." she gleefully replied, hoping to learn more about the order and the grounds of where she stood.

She began walking with Jyoti, following wherever she decided to lead her.
