First I Make you Deadly. Then I Unleash you to the Enemies of the Sith.

The Academy of Bogan was something Mythos had began to actually really like. Hoth was inhospitable and hellish in it's own way, furthermore it had the amazing academy with quite the training facility.... However he was not in the training Facility.

In the dorm rooms Mythos had Met [member="Killian"], the Young man had such a power in the force Mythos actually approached him and spent a rather lengthy conversation with him about the Dark Side and the Philosophy of the Sith. In the end Mythos was clear this Young Lad was to be his Next Apprentice.... and a deadly one at that.

First Mythos had to test his resolve, his first Training was simple and containing Two Skills, Basic but necessary to become Mythos' apprentice.

Mythos was sitting in a Mound of Snow wearing nothing but His Assassin armor and cross legged in the Harsh blasted lands of Hoth. The secret of how exactly he was surviving was Tapas, an Ability that made his Body temperature Skyrocket to combat the cold of Hoth.

He had left instructions and coordinates in the Young Man's' chambers to meet him at this exact point and begin his training.... needless to say, he would need some winter clothes.

"Is a leaf's only purpose to fall?"
Hoth was a cold and unforgiving planet, not one many people would choose to go to out of pleasure. Yet Killian found himself there, seeking that which had long eluded him. His knowledge of the force was sufficient for most Acolytes, but putting it to practice had been something out of his reach for quite some time. Always too busy with Kalor-Tech and it's inventions to delve deeper into becoming an assassin in his own right. But now, on this barren planet, a hope for the future had presented itself. [member="Darth Mythos"] was an assassin he knew little of, but once he met him in the Academy of Bogan he started research. A practitioner of many forms and abilities which interested Killian, he decided that this assassin would be his mentor. Of course, as with all things in the Sith, things came at a price. This price was servitude. It was an Apprentice's duty to serve their master, and in return for training he would do just that.

The instructions left by Mythos were easy enough to follow, and soon Killian reached the mound of snow upon which his new master sat. Killian himself was wrapped up warm in blue and red cloth; he didn't yet have the convenience of the force to keep him warm. Underneath his wrappings lay his lightsaber, always on hand in anticipation that the lesson would require it.
"Darth Mythos," He inclined his head slightly in respect, greeting the Sith.

"Killian... The Golden Dragon" Mythos opened his eyes from his meditation like two yellow orbs or fire and his tone of voice was as deep as the depths of Glee Anselm. "You Reputation is impressive..." He said nonchalantly is a monotone way that suggested he was not impressed. Sarcasm and arrogance dripped in his word but he hardly moved from his position. "At first i thought of asking you for a compendium of your abilities but apart from making more gadgets than a mandalorian i presume you lack absolutely everything... so we start with the basics. " Mythos chucked the datapad away in an effortless way before he gestured to a mound in front of him. "First you meditate... clear your mind, much like you clear a workplace before you engage in a new project..." Mythos shut off his Force essence, this is what he was going to teach Killian to accomplish first, he needed to be undetectable before he could be deadly, he needed to be the shadows before he could strike from them...

Baby steps... he thought of his first lessons with Ophidia and was going to replicate them in a most ingenious way.. He smiled because he knew this training session was going to be... Fun. "Focus... clear your mind and enter a state where you focus on your essence and Core of your Force Presence... " He smiled and gave a light laugh. "We will move on from there."

Meditation, something his busy life had never had the time for. Now though, he had all the time in the world. Like the wind he had been slow to develop in the force, but soon his hurricane would come. Killian sat upon the mound Mythos had gestured towards, placing his hands upon his knees and closing his eyes. Once the blinding white terrain of Hoth was replaced with the darkness of his eyelids, he began to clear his mind. All his worries and design ideas dissipated, leaving an empty sphere ready to be filled. As soon as it was empty it began to fill, this time with a focus on the force. He could feel himself through it, flowing like the wind...

His very essence was the only thing in his mind now, and he managed to keep hold of it until instructed further...

"Find your Core. Realize what Life around you is yours and Bury it" Mythos SMiled and his voice boomed. Bury it. It was the essence of this training session. "Become Nothing. As my Master would say, Cloak yourself in a veil of insignificance." Mythos then proceeded to make his essence into nothing. When he started to do this he could only blurr his Image, now he could literally hide it from anyone and pass as someone who had no Force Sensitivity. "This is the First thing you must Achieve, at first you will be just a blurr, but after you complete this we can move on to a more complex form of Buried Presence."

Upon saying this Mythos to his feelings was nothing, the only things that alerted his new Apprentice to his presence was the fact that he could see him in front of him... nothing else. Mythos smiled as he watched his apprentice meditate and feel the Force within him... he was Raw, untamed, unpolished, but he could feel his potential... he would not let him know he thought that however. For now he stood unmoving like a statue upon the small perch of snow focusing on Tapas to keep his body warmer than intended.

Killian could feel the slight tingle of his master's presence fade away until only light could reveal him. As he meditated he tried to do the same, forcing his core inwards. It folded and shrank, until only a faint blurr remained. Of course, it was not completely hidden like Mythos', but it was a start. To the untrained force sensitive he would be nothing but a tiny ripple. In time it would develop, he could feel the potential there, but right now it was just beyond his reach. The gusts of wind which marked his existence had quelled to a small draft, recognizable only by those who knew how to see it. Progress was being made, and progress was the start of every great thing...

"Now we move on to something more complicated." Mythos said after seeing that this apprentice had some basic knowledge of the force. He was able to adapt quickly unlike when mythos himself was beginning to learn the Technique. He clung his very soul subtly to the wind until Mythos saw the blur of Annoying Smoke that was the initial status of the skill. His voice however was serene and powerful. His thoughts on teaching were not through most methodical or typical of the Sith ever since becoming WIll of Atrisia he was forced to deal with things with a bit more attention to detail. He wanted his apprentices to be Exemplary and when it came to the Sith Assassins these skills were fundamental.
"You have seen people of course that are not gifted with the power of the force. Now that you have a full grasp on your Core and have enveloped it in this cloak you can Manipulate it, The Force is yours and you can Bend it to your Will. Make is seem you are one of them. See if that" Mythos smiled Doing exactly that as an example, "Is as easy my apprentice." His voice the entire time was a solid Monotone, he laughed remembering how Ophidia had made every test count with a simple Principle. Success or Death. Using more crude methods of course she had put the element of imminent death as an incentive to greater power. He would do no less to his apprentice, with more subtle ways in this training session, the very planet will serve as his incentive.

The force flows through everything, and yet those who live attuned to it stand out as if only they radiated with it. It was not a case of cancelling out one's aura, but blending it in with the life that permeated it. For this a fascade was needed, something Killian could nowhere near replicate fully. However, he managed to manipulate his core into something similar. His presence as a force sensitive no longer stood out as much as it had before, instead he was but a ripple in the great waves of the force. Despite his achievement, even the smallest ripples could be noticed when watched by trained eyes. There was much practice to be done, but as usual with Killian he was a fast learner. Keen to rise to the status of Assassin, he constantly studied and practiced. A true example student if there was one.

Yet without Mythos he was nothing, for now.

Mythos frowned noticing that his apprentice was not quite grasping this part of the basic Buried presence skill but he quickly tilted his head thinking that perhaps it was just a matter of practice. "One more Try, this time... Instead of being someone who is dead in the Force try and engulf yourself in Light" His tone was again the same monotone only blurred by the Howl of the Cold harsh winds that engulfed around him.
"This is the Most Complex form of Force Stealth so do not feel frustrated or forced to perfect it, with it even a Jedi Master could not detect your demeanor." Mythos said with Finality before adding. "Try it if you would like." Mythos stood up and began walking around his apprentice to get a good bead on him, to understand him he needed to gaze in his manner of breath, in his form of talking, in his way of expressing himself. As a Master it was his responsibility to make his apprentice everything that his Masters would expect.

Light, something Killian had rarely touched. Yet here he was asked to mirror it. Create light from darkness. In theory, the absence of dark was light, but the absence of fire is not necessarily water. Opposites co-exist, but are never as symbiotic as some make out. In this case though there was a chance; the fact that light can create shadows. Cast behind them, some would never notice, especially Jedi who lived ignorant of the truth. The trick was to remove whatever was casting a shadow on his aura, which sounded easy in words but not in practice. His presence shifted slightly, a glimmer of false light shining through the cracks. The light was nothing of good, it was what moonlight was to sunlight; a mere reflection on a cold, barren surface. Despite his understanding of the idea, he failed to practice it fully, even though it was never expected of him to do so.

"One day, I will master it..."

[member="Darth Mythos"]

"It is very hard to Master when you have no Light in your heart... No compassion, No Joy and no peace or Serenity. " Mythos sighed knowing that was the truth, he was able to execute this ability one of the first times he tried to use it because he had light in him, because he was not lost completely to the darkness. "You have done well... now to another phase of our session i'm sure you will find more..." Mythos' tone changed for the first time since the start of this lesson. "Exiting."

Mythos activated his lightsabers, Pride and his Shoto Myth. "How good are you with a blade apprentice? have you ever killed a man and smelled the Burnt flesh that a lightsaber gives when it does it's job right?" Without hesitation Mythos Lept into the air and attacked his apprentice with Ataru. Ataru was mostly about brute force and acrobatics, being taught the Style by a master of it he moved along with it's taxing acrobatics quite well. He force Jumped behind [member="Killian"] and swiped mercilessly to his head, this was a test of Reflex as well as a Lightsaber spar.

The sound of igniting blades gave away Mythos' next topic. There could be nothing else to do with such tools right now than to use them in combat training. Mere seconds after his master's lightsabers became active, so did Killian's singular one. For now his only form was Djem So, and so when he rose from his meditation position to stand his ground, he assumed a strong and well-balanced stance. The result of this allowed him to swiftly block his master's attack, locking their blades for a few seconds.
"I have killed, but I have not yet found a worthy opponent." His voice dripped with pride, but not too far as to be mistaken for overconfidence. He knew his limits, and that was why he wished to create distance between him and his master's blades. Quickly after his defense he shot backwards, trying to create a few meters of distance with his blade in between them. Mythos had two lightsabers, and so locking blades so closely with only one was a foolish move; one he would not repeat for the duration of the coming fight.

It was as much as a fight as it was a lesson though, and so instead of preparing his own attack in order to try gain the upper hand, he awaited his master's instructions.

[member="Darth Mythos"]

"Today we learn Ataru" Mythos stepped as he dashed in gracefully to his insides and executed two massive swings to his midsection before executing a butterfly kick that swiped at him twice suddenly the blade of Myth dissipated and Pride went to his two handed blade. "The Way of Hawk Bat, it comes down a few basic maneuvers you have just seen. Simple Enough. but as you can see" He paced around his apprentice every since he began talking keeping his stance moving and in constant motion " we get more and more complex as we advance",Ataru needed to have blood pumping strong and Harsh movements... Brute strength like Juyo but a bit more deliberate with Strength and more open to clashing blades, it was centered at the blade. "Ahh i see that you have taken the stance of Dem So. Ataru is the Kind of Stance you can mix up with other Styles...." He paused nodding to his apprentice before he came in again with a massive attack swipe over then a twirl to get under his knees finishing with a Force jump over his apprentice to his back to execute a vertical swipe.

His pride Made Mythos enjoy the Fight, he passed his test being greatly aware of his surroundings.

Two blocks, focusing on strength over speed, created Killian's defense against the saber strikes. They only just managed to keep up with Ataru, but they served their purpose to then allow him time to jump backwards, yet again creating distance but mainly dodging the butterfly kick. His master began circling him, and so his direction shifted to always face him. He never lowered his guard, keeping it strong and firm in front of himself.

"It excels in speed and agility," He noted, examining Mythos' stance. "I think it'll suit me well." Yes, among the several forms he had been interest in a few and Ataru was one. Another was Makashi, and Juyo also seemed helpful. Elegance and ferocity; polar opposites yet a deadly combination.

Another attack came in, causing Killian to bring his saber up in a hard block. It then twirled down almost in unison with Mythos', meeting his opponent's blade before it landed the lower strike. Then he was gone, having jumped over for a vertical swipe. The force shot a warning to Killian from that direction, and as if by instinct his saber went over his shoulder with a two-handed grip to block, catching the swipe but knocking him forward slightly. Quickly he turned to face his master and regain his composure.

This time his stance mimiced Mythos', his first steps in learning Ataru. Once he felt confident he was in the right position he charged forward, initiating his own attack. Instead of hard, upfront strikes that characterised Djem So, he leapt forward and unleashed a flurry of fast unrelenting swipes. They were less focused and not as effective as Mythos', for he was only a beginner of the form, but it's basics were starting to sink in; movement and speed.

Mythos had always been obsessed with saber combat, he knew of all the styles at least in a basic way yet there were three he excelled in above the rest: first and foremost was Juyo, his solemn obsession, Makashi the seed of his masters and ataru the gift of Bane.

His new apprentice was gifted with the blade, he dare even say his skill was on par with many above his station yet he he made not nod of accomplishment of that so soon, especially with the clumsy and awkward swipes he attempted, he mimicked the stance of his master in an almost identical way but the execution of each maneuver was far from ideal.

He stepped back dodging the first of the flurry and as the blade of his apprentice reared back for the next Mythos ignited his lightsaber close to his chest stepping in and close to the neck of his apprentice as the sabers clashed. Keeping in close made blocking the slower swipes easy for Mythos and after blocking tightly a score of strikes he would bring his blade to his apprentices' neck blocking his saber and calling to the force his shoto saber, myth to his hand, and blocking the saber with it's small white blade.

"Use the force to empower your attacks, use the strength of the dark side to fuel your every move." as soon as his words left his mouth he smashed his forehead into the skull of his apprentice to drive him back and resume the rotation.
