First Imperial Summit

They were wasting time he thought. After the talks over Byss died out , Adam Versili was ordered by his superior Maracel Yorkell to resume the meeting but this time moving the meeting to Jakku where Wraith Squadron were in the process of being built up. In the Conference Room , Adam Versili looked through the windows at the incomplete Wraith Squadron in which would serve as the precursor of the Shadow Squadron.

Versili however knew the reason for why Maracel Yorkell called for a meeting in such urgency. Some of Maracel's agents had recently reported that the Agents of Chaos were on the move and this time they were targeting a second Planet Zosha in which was controlled by the Empire of Rannon. Along with the Attack on Zosha , Maracel was notified that the Agents of Chaos had begun to be active within the Core Worlds and that they could represent a threat to plans of the Imperial Remnant. As he gazed at the incomplete Wraith Squadron , Versili knew that this Fleet would participate in the earliest campaigns of the Imperial Remnant and that it would soon partake in a campaign against the Agents of Chaos.

Having received new information for his allies , Versili wished to share it with the Imperial Remnant as well as any information he failed to give during the Byss Meeting. Versili however knew that the Meeting had to conclude rapidly knowing that the Imperial Remnant had little time for what was to come next and that he and his allies would have to finalize the plans for Operation Resurgence as quick as possible.

The Shipyards were always a comfortable place for Lucinda. Here there was plenty of order and a strict discipline to schedules. Both were things that she favoured.

There were many plans in the works, both known and unknown. It was important that people only knew the details that mattered to their tasks. All else was just background noise. However Lucinda needed to know as much as possible. It was in her nature as well as in her position among the ranks of the Imperial Remnant. Having worked her way up, as opposed to having everything handed to her, she had earned the respect of the higher ups. Although her cold nature probably instilled a bit of fear in the weak-willed. It was rumoured that Lucinda had no heart at all, for no one had been able to claim it. No one had even seen her give someone so much as a hug. Her expressions were always serious. Another rumour was that she was just some biometric droid. But that just wasn't true.

Her priorities were her work and nothing else mattered.

Lucinda walked into the meeting room with a caf in one hand and a datapad in the other. She was quick to note that only [member="Adam Versili"] was present. It was hard to tell whether or not she was disappointed, for her face always held that judgemental and stern look.

She walked over to the windows at the vessels still under construction. "Impressive."

Vakel had done his best to remain in the shadows as ling as he could. He didn't know what happened to the leaders of CIC. He didn't know if he would be putting himself in danger by assuming total control of remaining forces. He would never be the public face of the Empire. That would always be High Chancellor Shran. However, a meeting of this importance demanded his attention. Even more so since his daughter would be attending.

His star destroyer arrived in orbit of Jakku not long after Versili and Lucy had arrived. He sent an officer to go alert Chancellor Shran of their arrival. Moments later, both Shran and Vakel boarded a shuttle and landed in the shipyard. Both of them were surrounded by a contingent of both shadow guards and death troopers. The group entered the room and the guards peeled off, flanking the door and each of the walls, remaining quietly out of the way. Vakel cleared his throat and simply said, "What's our current status?"

Tristan and his normal entourage of Death Troopers entered the room late. He had an excuse. He had been busy organizing what little material he could for Operation Resurgence. He had been busy calculating the nesscary preparations using his cranial implant when he nearly ran directly into Emperor [member="Dorriun Vakel"].

"Majesty, please forgive my tardiness. I had been collecting Imperial V Class Star Destroyer's from our makeshift operation at Xa Fel." He ranted. He was shocked the man was even there. There was something big going on here and he intended to find out what.

"Grand Admiral Versilli, what is the current status of Operation: Resurgence?" His voice boomed. He was showing some initiative. Driven by the presence of the Emperor and his daughter?

"Everything is going as planned. The Directorate has just completed it's first batch of Assimilator-class Star Destroyers and has a total of 10 Assimilators completed with another 6 Planned to be completed soon enough." Grand Admiral Adam Versili began."My agents have also located a perfect planet that could serve as our base of operations. O'reel. A Heavily Fortified planet who's people are very Militaristic and paranoid of outside threats such as the AoC. Once i am able to get recordings of the AoC's rampage on Zosha we should be able to convince the O'reelians to join us".

Everything was set. With the discovery of the Military Potential of O'reel , Adam Versili knew that the Imperial Remnant could use the planet as it's main base of operations and with the Directorate having completed it's First Star Destroyers and Maracel Yorkell secretly assembling a Fleet of Ships for the Imperial Remnant everything was going as planned as the Imperial Military was once more growing in strength just as the Grand Admiral had foreseen. In addition to the Military Significance of O'reel the planet itself was at proximity from Copero , home to the Copero Shipyards in which could of served as a major ship manufacturing facility for the Remnant.

However there was still one thing Versili had in mind. The Agents of Chaos. He knew that in order for the Imperial Remnant to gain such resources they would need to launch a pre-emptive strike against the AoC in which Maracel Yorkell had been secretly planning. With the Agents of Chaos already active in the Core Worlds , he knew that it would be a matter of time before their third strike and that the Imperial Remnant could become targets of the AoC at any moment.

In addition , Tristan Evore's mention of Xa Fel made the Grand Admiral realize something very important , the Corporate Protectorate. Already acknowledged as an irrelevant faction , the Corporate Protectorate still held a sizable Navy and the Grand Admiral realized that through Tristan Evore's ties to the Corporate Protectorate , the Imperial Remnant could utilize the Protectorate's Navy and use it to increase the size of the Imperial Navy. With the Grand Admiral knew that the Imperial Remnant had to move quickly or it's enemies (AoC) would strike first. It was now a matter of time.

Lucinda sipped her caf while the others began to arrive. She kept her eyes on the ships under construction, at times looking at the reflections of the various officers on the transparasteel.

It wasn't until her Father had arrived that she turned to face them. Giving him a small bow of her head, she looked to Grand Moff Evore while he gave his report, which was soon followed by Grand Admiral Versili's own. Once the planet O'reel was suggested, Lucy set down her caf and began bringing up some information on her datapad. An eyebrow raised ever so slightly as she skimmed through the briefing. "Looks promising. Have those recordings sent to me and I'll whip up an appropriate campaign to ensure that our presence on O'reel will be welcomed and appreciated." She turned to her Father for his approval of her initiative. But of course she'd relent if he had other ideas.

Upon hearing Larr’s Statement Grand Admiral Versili continued speaking “In addition to O’reel my Superior within the Directorate is willing to provide the Imperial Remnant with a makeshift Fleet composed of Ships he has managed to obtain. And then there is the Agents of Chaos...”

Through reports of Malachi Smelone , The Grand Admiral knew that they posed an instant threat to the Imperial Remnant. Versili knew that the AoC laid waste to any planet that opposed their goals and slaughtered anyone who supported these “lost causes” despite having been largely ignored by other Galactic Powers , the Directorate was the one who was the most concerned about their actions.

“The Agents of Chaos is a dangerous organization that seeks to topple the many Galactic Governments that already exist. Already they have been present in the Core Worlds and are a huge danger to us. In order for the Empire to be restored we must deal with this major threat we face”. Grand Admiral Versili began. He knew very well that the Imperial Remnant would soon find itself at odds with the AoC and that something needed to be done before the AoC could rise into prominence within the Unknown Regions. “However my superior Maracel Yorkell has already conceived a plan to face this new threat”.

Then the Grand Admiral put a Holotransceiver on the table and a Hologram of Maracel Yorkell appeared. “Hello gentlemen. If you are seeing this then you must be aware that Adam Versili and I have formulated a plan to deal with the threat known as the Agents of Chaos. This Plan requires a few of the best Royal and Shadow Guards of the Emperor. 5 Men will be selected and sent to the AoC headquarters and pretend to have defected from the Remnant. Then as Double Agents they will give the Imperial Remnant information on who the AoC plans to target. Then we shall head to the Capital City of the Faction the AoC plans to attack and warn them of the incoming threat and then have them join the Imperial Remnant for protection. This Plan shall allow the Imperial Remnant to grow and shall allow us to gain the resources needed to build an Imperial Armada in which we shall use to retake the Deep Core.” Then the Transmission ended and the Grand Admiral said “So does anyone have any questions on this?”
