The First Order

The following diplomatic policies are shaped by the information available to the Foreign Office. They represent the First Order's views and stance on the different major factions within the galaxy. These policies are subject to change as more information is obtained and as the First Order interacts with the different factions.

EMBLEM​	DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS INFORMATION​
	Faction: Confederacy of Independent Systems Standing: Neutral Status: Cordial Trade: Authorized Overview: While the First Order recognizes the sovereign authority of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, their ‘Confederacy First’ policy remains a matter of concern, particularly where it impacts the free flow of goods and people along the galaxy’s established hyperlanes. The First Order and the Confederacy have signed a free trade agreement to ensure the free flow of goods between and through both nations.
	Faction: The Eternal Empire Standing: Neutral Status: Unfriendly Trade: Authorized; Limited Overview: The presence of the Eternal Empire in former First Order territory is a matter of concern; the Foreign Office has been unable to get clear visibility into how former First Order citizens are treated within the Eternal Empire. Rumors of brutal treatment and genocide are a matter of extreme suspicion for the First Order. The First Order continues to observe the Eternal Empire and has implemented limitations on trade or travel to Eternal Empire space.
	Faction: Galactic Alliance Standing: Neutral Status: Cordial Trade: Authorized Overview: Despite the legacy of the old First Order/Galactic Alliance war, the Foreign Office has implemented productive communications with the Galactic Alliance and has reason to hope for a friendly relationship. Concerns regarding the Bryn'adul genocides provide for fertile common ground. Recently, the First Order and Galactic Alliance have joined forces to aid the plight of refugees from the wars in the galactic north and the Bryn’adul onslaught as well as to settle a refugee colony on Crytal Nest.
	Faction: Silver Jedi Concord Standing: Neutral Status: Neutral Trade: Authorized Overview: The First Order has no official policy towards the Silver Jedi Concord. Travel and trade are authorized without restriction.
	Faction: The Bryn’adul Standing: Aggressive Disposition: Unfriendly Trade: Not Authorized Overview: The stated genocidal policies of the Bryn’adul pose a matter of grave concern to the First Order. While the Bryn’adul do not currently pose a significant threat to First Order interests, the First Order considers them to be a rogue nation and therefore has imposed significant restrictions on travel and trade to their territory. Visitors are screened with close vetting and First Order citizens or manufacturers wishing to visit or do business with the Bryn’adul must obtain prior Foreign Office approval.
	Faction: The Sith Empire Standing: Neutral Status: Unfriendly Trade: Authorized; Limited Overview: Diplomatic overtures between the First Order and the Sith Empire have gotten off to a rocky start. Due to the geographical distance between the two nations, diplomatic relations are not considered a priority. Trade and travel between the First Order and the Sith Empire are authorized but limited, although Sith Imperial citizens are subject to vetting prior to entry.
	Faction: New Imperial Order Standing: Neutral Status: Cordial Trade: Authorized Overview: The First Order has developed cordial relations with the New Imperial Order, with both sides displaying a willingness to explore further diplomatic relations. In addition to an ideological similarity, the First Order and New Imperial Order benefit from a number of personal affinities, including a cordial relationship between members of both governments.
X​	Faction: Brotherhood of the Maw Standing: Aggressive Status: Unfriendly Trade: Not Authorized Overview: The Brotherhood of the Maw is considered a rogue state by the Foreign Office. Their stated aims of conquest and destruction place them categorically outside the realm of nations with whom the First Order can maintain diplomatic relations. Their genocidal attack on Csilla is considered an outrageous an irredeemable act of aggression and barbarity.
	Faction: Warlords of the Sith Standing: Neutral Status: Neutral Trade: Authorized; Limited Overview: The First Order does not have sufficient information to determine a formal diplomatic status for the Warlords of the Sith. Limited trade and travel are authorized, however visitors are subject to vetting prior to entry.
