[First Order]: New Level

Orbiting Yalara was a Space Station nearly finished production. The first of its kind for a long as far as the Imperials were concerned, A'sharad had imagined when he had set his design team at Vitiate to work. Back on Tantorus, throwing together the materials and shipping them towards Yalara in First Order Space was long work, a project that had, undoubtedly been in the works for quite some time. Especially with the close proximity of the Galactic Alliance, it was quite plausible to assume that they had some inkling as to what was going on in First Order Space, especially so close to the recently established borders, only a system away.

Closed to becoming a finished product, in orbit of the planet was the Tsawak iv Typhojem, along with its standard support vessels and the rest of the White Wolves Taskforce and transport vessels when it came to invasions. Much of the transports from the Haven Citadel on the planet far below were launched with members of other legions and regiments upon them. On this day, a large scale simulation was to take place. An 'assaulting' force attempting to breach the shields emanating from the underside of the Space Station over the entire planet. Undoubtedly a difficult feat, especially with all of its defense lasers, large complement, and sizeable force of marines on the Station itself to repel boarders.

A'sharad however, remained in the Command Centre, specifically watching over the tactical displays, and surveillance cameras. In the General's mind, taking part wouldn't actually achieve any sort of benefit. His subordinates on the sides of the defenders in the form of Sergeant Torian Pierce, likely Sergeant [member="Kato"], and other members of the prestigious Legion that was the White Wolves were likely present.

As soon as the General received confirmation from the offensive side, the General would activate the planetary shield and seal the shield gate apparent underneath the military station.

"Are the defenders ready?"

"Yes, General."

There was a nod from Darth Vyrassu as his helmeted gaze swung back towards the front of the Command Centre.

Battlegroup Imperator, a fleet intimately involved and learned of offensive manoeuvres prepared to 'attack' the station. The plan was for the fleet to charge in, and deploy a compliment of stormtroopers, covering them with the heavy turbolaser fire of the imperial-x and victory class star destroyers. TIE fighters would attempt to swarm the stations turbolasers and screen any fighters it sent out.

The Vindicator, the chief of the Imperator Battegroup lead the charge, "Tsavak iv Typhojem," The star destroyers communications officer said, "This is Imperator Battlegroup, we await your signal for excersises beginning." The officer turned off the channel and turned to the fleets commanding officer, Carlyle Rausgeber, "Commodore, signal sent."

"Good," Carlyle said, "Good...." There was a certain sense of beauty about this defensive shield in the eyes of this beholder. The pale blue glow it offered was a start, but Carlyle's interest extended elsewhere. The composition of defences, the aesthetic of it, all played a part in tickling his fancy. The commander found his thoughts broken however by a distant droning, "What?"

The TIE Operations officer spoke up, "Sir, flight crews are awaiting clearance."

"No, no clearance." Carlyle said, "Not until I give the order, understood?" Carlyle said.

Brent started awake, his eyes opening with a soft jolt. His unpowered armor hid his movement as the trooper swallowed sheepisly. He had fallen asleep again, but on long trips like this, it wasn't too uncommon for him. The agents had been in transit for a while now, when he checked his chronometer, a full two days in transit. While the new armor his detail had been assigned were much more comfortable than their previous mark of armor, they weren't made to be worn for such a long duration.

A blink out of the corner of his eye caught Brent's attention. He slid his tongue along the control, opening his in-helmet comm unit. Someone had sent him a message.

"Hello, my love," the warm familiar voice filled his ears a second before her dazzling smile and vibrant eyes came into view, "I am sorry, it looks like I just missed you! I wanted to tell you I am thinking about you. Its," the brunette looked at her watch, "Oh, 8 in the morning. I wish you could have seen the sun rise, it made me think of you," her joyful eyes wavered for a moment, flickering into sadness before she perked back up, "Your dad! He did good today! The doctors said that the new meds are helping fix the blood pressure issue," she tilted her head downward a little, moving closer to the camera, "We all love you and miss you. We are looking forward to you coming home. I am trying out a new cobbler recipe so I can get it right as a treat for your first meal back at the old dinner," she blew a kiss at the camera and gave a soft wave, "Bye, Brent!"

As the camera froze on her smiling face, he smiled back wistfully whispering, "I miss you too, Saria."

The Sargent suddenly jolted to his feet slamming on the side of the durasteel wall, sending flecks of old paint chips on the pristine white helmets of the nearby troopers, "Alright, Ladies, lock and load! We are go to get on with this defense testing! Don't fracking embarrass me, boys, make a good show of things!"

Brent leapted to his feet and brushed all thoughts of Saria away--or tried too. It had been months since they had last seen each other and that had been via holovid. And before that almost a year. The aching in his heart for her, for his mom, dad, brothers Yarr and Fenn and sister Ann were almost too much to bear. As he slid his energy canister into place with a click and fell in line for the millionth time, Brent reminded himself why he was doing this--for the family.

The shuttle docked with jolt and the door hissed open and Brent was once more marching in line, just another storm trooper.

"Set up E-webs here and here."

Kato pointed to two long hallways on the holo display of the station that would serve as critical choke points.

"Shade, take FAP and BamBam and rig some surprises in the compartments that could serve as alternative routes to the kill zones."

"On it, Sarge."

The simplest answer to the hallways guarded by E-webs would be to go around through the heavily compartmentalized section of the station. Kato's squad was one of many scattered throughout the station and tasked with its defense. But even one breakthrough by the 'enemy' could spell disaster.

"Haywire, you're on the west E-web. Stiff, you'll be covering him with your DMR. Pyro, this is a war game. No flamethrowers." The private made a pouting face. "So you'll be on the East E-web. Priest and I will cover you there. Good?"

Pyro nodded.

The Sergeant cracked his neck. "Blasters are locked to stun, E-webs too. Explosives are nonlethal only. We also have those electrofilament nets Shade'll be using. If it comes to hand-to-hand you each have a riot baton in place of a combat knife. Ready?"

They gave an oorah.

"Let's go kick some Imperator ass."

Squad:
Corporal “Shade” - Scout Trooper
Lance Corporal “FAP” - Vehicle Pilot
Private “BamBam” - Demolitions
Private “Pyro” - Weapon Specialist
Private “Haywire” - Technician
Private “Stiff” - Designated Marksman
Private “Priest” - Shock Trooper

Norin stood on the bridge of the Hammershot as it came out of Hyperspace at Yalara. The orders were to test a stations defenses and try to breach it with Troopers in order to seize control of the station. Basically another simulation. It suited Norin just fine as practice made perfect.

"Raise the shields and get a line to the Battle Group."

Norin waited a minute before speaking.

"Battle Group Imperator.............FIV Hammershot reporting for duty and awaitig orders."

Norin had the channel cut before turning to his crew.

"Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to another battle simulation............."

Norin paused as he crew chuckled.

".................our mission objective is to secure the station for our own use.............not destroy. Odds are that means we will only be using ion weapons to disrupt the shields so that Imperator troops can land on the station. Be prepared to take fire from the station and possibly any fighter compliment the station may have. So let's warm up the Ion weapons and active point defense and anti-missile octets."

Norin paused.

"Once we have orders from the Imperator let's be ready to execute on a moments notice. Remember last time the line between friend and foe shifted mid battle. I would expect the same here. Now sound general quarters and let's get it done."

Norin moved over to her chair taking a seat while he took a survey of the field and waited to see how this think was going to kick off. The bells of the general quarters alarm rigging behind him.

Darth Vyrassu watched from the Command Centre of the Space Station. Hundreds of stormtroopers stalked the corridors of the Station, on their routine 'patrols.' Of course, some locations were off limits, those that were too delicate for the average soldier to view without clearance. The golden orbs flitted back and forth to scour the surveillance cameras to see if anything were out of place before he looked to the tactical display off to the side, and spotted the White Wolves Fleet formation, or rather, planetary defense force.

The Tsawak iv Typhojem had become the flagship of the Wolves' Fleet after the Wolf's Maw had been destroyed on Skye before they had re-secured the planet from the Ssi-Ruuk. It was a fiery wreck there, at that very moment, he imagined, and Vyrassu was quite entertained by that image. The explosion shooting up into the sky as it crashed into the earth after most of the forces had touched down. However, the Typhojem wasn't the sort of ship you wanted in a simulation. Vyrassu turned his head to look to the communications officer and nodded before he opened up a direct line to every person in the system, that were military anyway.

"Begin."

And as soon as he uttered those words the Typhojem disappeared, but chances were it also heralded the opening barrages of both fleets, toned down turbolasers and ion cannons firing from the side of the Wolves to meet the dubbed 'Imperator' Battlegroup.

"Sir, clearance has been given!" Comms announced, all the the bridges officers turned to Carlyle, who wore a smirk on his face.

"Open fire on their batteries, I want all ships bar the corvettes firing upon it, understood?" Carlyle barked. The Gunnery officer nodded, and within seconds, the space around the ship was lit up in green and blue as the Battlegroup began to open fire upon the station.

"TIE's are asking for-" The TIE officer began, before being cut off.

"Launch the TIE's, focus them on screening the fighters launched, and escorting our troop carriers." Carlyle commanded, "Corvettes hang back and take out any fighters that try to come at us."

TIE fighters flew out of their hangars, screaming towards the shield gate and opening fire.
