First Order Security Bureau
The First Order Security Bureau is an agency charged with the safety and security of the First Order through gathering, processing and analyzing security information from around the galaxy. The bureau has both a public and clandestine role, with the latter being virtually unknown to the galaxy, save for it's existence. The Bureau falls under the purview of the First Order's Ministry of Security.

Rank BreakdownDirector: The Director of the First Order Security Bureau is the head of the entire organization. Their purview encompasses the bureau as a whole, though the director isn't typically involved in all operations. He is assisted by three deputy directors. The Director of the First Order Security Bureau typically holds a position on the Moff Council as head of the Ministry of Security.
Deputy Director: Deputy Directors run much of the day-to-day operations of the bureau, each in charge of their own directorate. The Intelligence Directorate is responsible for intelligence analysis, counterintelligence, and cyberwarfare. The Operations Directorate is tasked with most of the field work - intelligence gathering and espionage. The Directorate of Public Affairs is responsible for propaganda and re-education. Though the directorates are separate and independent, they often rely on each other to carry out their own mission.
Station Chief: Station chiefs are in charge of individual missions, if not overseen by their respective deputy director themselves. They are the field equivalent of bureau chiefs and are responsible for the coordination of operations under their purview.
Bureau Chief: Bureau chiefs are the garrison equivalent of station chiefs. They are moreso senior government officials in the office setting, facilitating the analysis, coordination, and distribution of mission critical materials. They may also be charged with additional duties by their respective deputy director.
Special Agent: Special agents are senior agents within the bureau who have earned their keep. They may serve in a field or government capacity and are typically in charge of more junior agents and field agents.
Field Agent: Field agents are the clandestine operatives of the bureau. They are tasked with intelligence-gathering, espionage, and other clandestine tasks that may put them in danger. If a field agent is captured, it is not uncommon for them to deny any knowledge of or involvement with said agent.
