Location: Hangar Bay, Dromund Kaas Eclipse Sect Temple Fortress - High Orbit of Dromund Kaas
Tag: Darth Malum of House Marr Darth Malum of House Marr

It was always an event when a Sith Lord visited a temple of the Eclipse Sect. However, this particular occasion was different. The visitor was no ordinary Lord, but rather, a Dark Councillor—Darth Malum, scion of
House Marr, which traced its lineage all the way back to Darth Marr of the ancient reconstituted Sith Empire.

Thus, little expense had been spared in making ready for his arrival. Koshûtaral Sentinels clad in crimson armor had been arranged in disciplined formation to either side of the hangar bay. Novitiates, Pursuivants, and a pair of Adepts dressed in white robes emblazoned with the symbol of the Sect stood off to the side. They were an eclectic mix of species, comprising Togruta, Qilin, Humans, Tiss’shar, and yet more.

However, in spite of the auspicious nature of the visit, it was a mere Adept who stood at the head of the group assembled within the hangar bay, ready to meet the Dark Councillor. Such was the political risk that came with appearing to consort with a Dark Councillor known for opposing the Kainate, that the task of meeting him had been delegated to a lesser. For all of their stature and respect, none of the Ascendants had been willing to directly take on the task and risk losing sponsorship from their Kainite Sith masters.

Thus, the duty had fallen onto Ellissanthia’s narrow shoulders.

Dressed in a white bodysuit emblazoned with the symbol of the Sect on the left breast, the short-statured Swamp Undine bore an expression of wide-eyed intensity across her azure-hued features. Her lips, colored in the white lipstick that she favored, gave a slight twitch as she glanced towards the two other Adepts, who offered her cold, icy stares in turn.

That exact moment was when the shuttle carrying the Dark Councillor passed the threshold to enter the hangar bay.

It was not his desire to come to Dromund Kaas. Though, he supposed, it was rarely with desire that he did much of anything. He held responsibilities, he held duties, and whatever they were, whatever he would rather do, it was his bid in life to execute them to the best of his ability. There were many duties and responsibilities, the official, the unofficial, the public, and the personal, of the two pairs, his purpose here landed squarely on the latter side of both.

It was a small blessing that in such regard, even if he had to conceal this venture as being of the former of both pairs, it would allow him to bypass meeting with the Governor of this world. Darth Prazutis was a monster, short and simple, but he was a monster that was afforded a modicum of respect, for all which he had done, the failures of which that amongst polite company were not to be repeated.

Even if he so wished to.

Instead, for his real objective, to carve out eyes in the Caldera, against one who so often held a seemingly mysterious ability to gouge them out, to keep a better eye upon his cousin, who for all his bluster, he had not in fact waged a war within the Caldera to liberate from her chains, but soon would be liberated regardless... he had instead, negotiated for a meeting with with this... Eclipse Sect, one of the many mind dizzying sects within the Kainite brood.

For after all, there were few within the Order who could deny providing hospitality to a Dark Councillor, and the Lord of the Tsis'Kaar.

He allowed a caustic breath to pass by his lips, as he stood on the interior platform that passing through the cargo doors would have him descend upon the Sect's fortress in orbit. The doors opening, light filtering through the doors, as he was greeted with quite the sight.

A large assembly had been gathered to meet him, clearly, wishing to give him a Dark Councillor's meeting, while at the forefront stood an Undine, given away by her long ears, though... there was a strange familiarity about her, as black boots departed the ship, seconds later, the steps of armed guardsmen followed suit, as one took his place at the edge of the ship.

His herald began to speak, "Presenting Darth Malum, of House Marr, King of Alvaria and Eliad, Governor of Faldos, Lord of the Tsis'Kaar, Lord Inquisitor, and Dark Councillor." It was too many titles, but, such was the growth and accumulation of power.

Malum's eyes were only on the one in front of him... one who seemed to be... so familiar.

As his amulet pulsed in recognition.
