- High Power: Like all Phamas weapons the high energy beams do enormous amounts of damage to organic beings, that being flesh or any sort of soft tissue. Such energy beams disintegrating/boiling the tissue and slicing through it is ease. In addition the extra power from the cells given to this weapon also allow it to compensate for armor being able to burn through it much faster then regular Phamas weapons.
- Hosing: The high rate of fire makes the PL-PC ideal for CQC and suppression, giving units a decent LMG like weapon when assaulting hardened positions. It's large ammo capacity making it reliable for long engagements allowing it to keep up a sustained rate almost all the time until reloading.
- Pint Point: Despite being a repeating blaster the way more Phamas weapons work the beams fired by the weapon have pin point accuracy. Even the most novice gunner is a deadly marksmen with this weapon.
- Power Supply: These weapons cannot just run on any regular power pack needing specially made units to achive the desired output by the gun. This makes the weapon somewhat inflexible in battle if it was to run out of ammunition,
- Expensive/Delicate: Though most Phamas weapons are sturdy almost to the point of being able to become a melee weapon the PL-PC is much more delicate unable to take overly rough treatment without damaging thee internal workings of the weapon.
Though the development of the TRLC gave ground units a relatively reliable and well working rapid fire/anti infantry laser weapon it's size meant it could not be to be used in a mobile state. A solution to this problem was the invent of a downsized version of the TRLC that also took concept design from the hand held Phamas weapons, combining the two weapons shapes together to form a heavy repeating blaster like armament.
At it's core the PL-PC is an ideal tool for shock troops on front lines to quick deployed machine gun nests to hold a location. It self able to be moved and handled by a single operator giving much needed fire power to individuals squads and solider groups. Unfortunately the high rate of fire and power from the weapon does require a more delicate and specialized manufacturing, the PL-PC not being nearly as durable as most other Phamas weapons.
Due to this the only assault squads and specially designated units have access to this type of fire arm but are usually mixed in with regular troops to balance things out and allow regular regiments access to the weapons firepower.
