SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Tensile strength and abundance of materials was the prime concern. Made from abundant elements in the Flax system.
  • The Flax Stahl has a greater strength than expected for its weight & malleableness
  • Has the ability to deform via bending to a degree before breaking. (e.g. like an aluminum rod. more and more deformation before failure)

  • Formulation: The formulation that gives the metal its strength & malleability also can cause certain flaming metal compounds (incendiary rounds) to light it on fire.
DESCRIPTION
The Werr Family had always been into formulations of metals when they started their shipyard. Alrin Werr knew he had to get a metal formulation to break free the Flax system from the mainline Sophia's metal foundries. It took countless formulations, tests both long and short term, and a lot of calculations to create Flax Stahl. The final point in their mainline metal project was to get a stronger than its weight metal that used what was abundant within their home system of Flax. Most mining the metals from the large astroid belt or the few lifeless volcanic planets in the system the Werr family sought to further their freedom from outsiders and the Sephi mainliners on Thustra. The mass produced metal Flax Stahl was the internal key to their shipbuilding future. Along with the leap towards a publicly sold metal formulation for the wider galaxy.

It is very cool! I have one question, these means this material has extreme resistance?
  • Has the ability to flex to a degree when given a temporary extreme force
  • Weight Bearing: Has a very high tensile strength while having greater flexibility under extreme weights than other metal formulas.
 
MANIAC MANIAC not my intent. I ment more like a mass round traveling at railgun velocities. And it taking that force to break instead of being like foil, if its a sheet. I have been writing my sci-fi novel so probably bad word choices
