Flick of the Wrist

This was not going to be the first or the last time Jairdain taught this class. Two skills that were very important for any Force user to know were Barrier and Tutaminis. So like she had before, she had a single aid with her along with some blasters. None of them were set to kill and there was also a medic present in case any harm was actually done.

She wasn't sitting on the floor that was her custom but stood near the table and quietly spoke with the aid that was there. The door was open and inside the room, there was almost no furniture. Only the table was present and there was a very good reason for this. In this class, her students were not going to be sitting down at all.

Her lightsaber hung at her hip even if it was of little use to her. The clothes she wore were comfortable but tailored for her. Dark, worn boots and lighter coloured pants with a pale top. She had dark hair that hung naturally in waves that rested on her shoulders and went down her back.

Waiting on any students that had caught the notice for the class, she hoped to have a large turnout. The last time she had done this, quite a few had attended. One was better than none though and she waited patiently and chatted with the aid.

It seemed to Gherron that the longer he spent in the presence of Jedi once again, the more he found himself reverting back to his old self in the case of studying the force to his fullest potential. He had always been very fascinated with the many applications of it as a Palawan, but when he left the order he stuck to using what he knew and what felt natural. Regardless, the skills advertised in the coming class were ones he felt he needed, with his fighting style being so up close and personal. As he had found out on more than one occasion, one cannot simply expect to always have their lightsaber with them. I’m the heat of battle, a lot could happen; your weapon could be taken away from you, lost in the chaos, or even destroyed. It never hurt to have backup plans, and back up plans for those backup plans.

As he made his way to the classroom, he quizzed himself on what he knew about tutaminis and force barrier. Tutaminis was a very useful skill to have in case anything happened to one’s lightsaber, as it allowed one to redirect and even reflect energy back at the attacker. He’d never seen it performed, but had heard of it countless times. Now barrier... that he could have definitely found useful in a number of situations he found himself in in the past. Though he imagined turning the force into a shield could possibly drain massive amounts of energy in some cases, it was still no doubt a crucial skill to have. In case he needed it, he kept his lightsaber at his side, but he doubted it was going to be used here. This class was going to be very enlightening.

Poking his head inside the room to make sure he had the right place, he nodded and smiled to whom he assumed to be the instructor. ”Looks like I’m the first one here. We haven’t met. I’m Gherron.”

Stretching, Kat decided to take a class teaching the application of Force Barrier and Tutaminis, skills she didn't fully understand what their uses were but eager all the same. It was a morning of coffee and plenty of groaning. Stretching, she lifted up high as she could. She was wearing rip off shorts and a loose beige top, it was comfy and with the nice sunny weather, was something that didn't make her too warm. Kat tied her hair in a tall loose ponytail, with a lazy strand of hair framing her face. Giving herself a cheeky grin in the mirror, she nodded her head and made her way to the class.

Once she arrived outside the class, she saw a man standing there and Jairdain, a face she recognised. Smiling as she walked in, Kat waved to the others. "Hey, I'm Kat, here for the class on Barrier and Tutaminis?" She asked making sure that she got the right room and didn't get it wrong like she might have done in the past. Not that she would ever have admitted to locating the wrong classroom.

Rocho bore fewer weapons then normal today, mostly carrying just his deactivated lightsaber axe on his back, and a shotgun at his side, and in a blue uniform. Though, of course, he was lacking the shoes. They were rather pointless for one thing. He had joined the Imperial Knights a time ago and had learned a good bit as it was already, mainly being how to actually use it outside of the few methods he had learned through instinct. But here was a chance to learn. bit more, Tutaminis and Barrier, yeah that was it. They seemed useful enough and if they could be applied in combat, then they were exactly the sort of thing he'd start to learn.

He walked swiftly down, hearing someone speaking the classroom ahead and sensing two presences. He knew the one, that was Jairdan. It was familiar enough and he had found he often recognized people through the force more then he would have initially expected. The other however he was unfamiliar with, which he further was sure of as he entered. Yup, definitely hadn't met this man before.

Rocho walked over to where he would be around a meter behind Gherron, "Greetings, I am Rocho Krul." Simple beginning, he would nod towards Jairdain with another, "Greetings." as he caught sight of her, and that was all he had to say for now.

Kahlil entered the classroom with his hands in his back pockets, his eyes gazing around the room. Barrier was a skill he had long since mastered as a Sith, but now as a Jedi he was hoping to do more. Tutaminis was the other half of the ability, and a stronger version that could empower him by deflecting energy. That would be fairly useful now that he didn't use his spells anymore.

He casually looked among the others, giving a simple nod of his head, waiting for the lesson to start.

When Gherron entered, she stopped conversing with the aid and turned in his direction.

"I am Jairdain Ismet, please come in."

With an open-handed motion, she would indicate all the standing room to pick from and her attention went to the door when Kat came in asking about the class. Giving her a nod, she also indicated the area in the room.

"Yes, please come in. I will wait a few more minutes to see if anybody else is going to join us."

She had invited some of her students to this that were not Silvers in an attempt to help train them. Rocho was one of them and she smiled when she felt him show up. Returning his nod, her focus shifted to the last person to show up, at least for now.

He was new and she welcomed him as well.

"As some of you know, I am Jairdain Ismet. Gherron introduced himself already and I know Rocho from my travels. What are your names?"

This was directed at Kahlil and Kat since Jairdain did not remember meeting them before. Once they introduced themselves, she would begin the lesson for the day.

"Tutaminis is an ability that can only be used on yourself. It can only used on yourself to absorb, deflect or even return the energy from attacks and really is used as a defensive measure only. Barrier is something that can used in either offense or defense. Are there any questions?"

"Kahlil." The young man muttered from his corner when [member="Jairdain"] glanced to him. He wasn't really here for a meet and greet though, and remained silent until the woman started the lesson. He blinked in surprise at how she described Tutaminis, mostly because the energy absorbed could be used to empower and strike down his foes. Though, maybe that was what she meant. It itself wasn't more then a personal shield.

Having no questions, he just stayed quiet, waiting.
