Imperial Barracks
Kamino~1800 Hrs
It had been a few days since Phantom Squadron had gained their newest member, and while it had taken a bit of getting used to the team had been doing well. Lucky and Sara still had a tension to them but it wasn't one that reeked of a feud like when they first met. Sitting in his room, going over a few mission dossier's Dominic sighed. The team hadn't seen much action lately, and it was beginning to make the man stir crazy. He had dreams of climbing the ranks and one day becoming a Moff, that was hard to do when you were always training or chasing pirates.

"Oh well." He said, laying the papers on the table. He glanced to his watch, he had called Sara to the room to present her with a few gifts. She was an interesting one, and had taken a bit more of Dominic's thinking time then he expected her to. His late night visits with Lucky had been all but dismissed as the two had just returned to speaking terms. Even so the man didn't see himself as interested in the woman since Sara joined the squad.

"Man, I guess that's bad huh?" He said to himself before tossing the papers on his desk and pushing the thought to the back of his mind. "Nah." He reinforced.

He stuffed his flight suit as well as a a few other key items into a duffel while he awaited Sara.

Kamino, she always had heard of the planet never really cared to visit nor really think about the planet at all, yet here she was in the barracks walking down the hall. Dominic had called for to his room, for what she didn't know but orders were orders and Sara followed them to the letter

Her and lucky had at least...talked a bit, tension was still there bit least they made it through one conversation...evem then she could practically taste the venom on her words. She soon arrived to his room and knocked announcing herself

hey it's Sara as you called for

I am a son of the Mountain.
When Sara finally made it to the room Dominic walked over to the door, opening it to her. "Hey Sara." He said, nodding at her with a smile. He turned back to his bed and took the duffel off, pulling it over his shoulder as he gestured out of the room. "Come on, take a walk with me sweetheart." He said, making his way out of the room.

He looked at Sara's new uniform, stamped with the Imperial standard as well as their unit patch. It was a nice fit and she looked good in it. Dominic was lucky to find the woman so easily and convince her to enlist with the imperial Navy. Luckier still that he ha connections that allowed her to skip training and in processing and get straight to business. They made their way down the pristine white halls and Dominic seemed to be in as good a mood as ever. "So how are things? How do you like Kamino?" He asked.

No one particularly liked Kamino, if anything they just learned to tolerate it. Even Dominic, who was generally seen as an optimist, did not care for the dreary, rain-filled planet.

"It can take some getting used to but there are worse planets to be stationed." He explained.

They turned down another hall, making their way towards the flight deck where their ships were kept. "Anyway I have a surprise for you, I told you it would take about a week to get you a new ship right?" He said, producing his security cylinder for the doors to the flight deck. Placing the cylinder in the access port he watched as the door's were opened to him. "I lied." He said.

The doors opened to reveal a shiny new Predator-class TIE fighter sitting beside Dominic's own in the bay. He gestured to it with a smile. "Don't lose it, you only get one." He said, jokingly. Allowing her a moment to look he walked over to a nearby table, setting his flight gear down and pulling a box onto the table.

"Come here, pipsqueak." He called out, pushing the box to the side of the table. "Flight suit, new comm unit, new uniform, and a manual on the ship. You're Welcome." He said with a smile.

She gave a smile, she enjoyed his attitude. She followed him as she listened to him and gave a nod as she put he earns behind her back walking like a higher up, force og habit after beimg in control of several squadrons...something she'd do a lot

it's not bad remonds me of home...dosuun had lotta rain so it's actually relaxing but...reminds me to much of home

It was a mix of good and bad, however she kept herself busy so she wouldn't be reminded of home at all...evem telling herself it was no longer home...but she'd have to head back to get a few things...she hoped that droid was still there

She glanced back at him getting out of her thoughts as she raised a brow, she was told indeed it would take a bit to get a ship made for her. She watched the doors open and saw the l9ght shine off the predator. She walked over to it placing a hand on the wing and gave a big smile looking over as she walked to the table opening the box and looking at it

pipsqueak...heh...i know my call sign now...and you must be really pushed for all this not only getting them to skip over me for training

"I have my ways." The Lieutenant replied, gesturing to the ship. "Actually the ship was easiest to get. I have a friend who works in shipping, puts my name on the top of the list." He explained.

When Sara stepped next to Dominic he couldn't help but glance over to her, taking another lengthy look at her before smiling and turning towards his own ship. "Now, a rule I have in my flight, each member has to be able to conduct their own maintenance." He explained, pulling his coat off. The man pulled his flight suit from the bag, watching as a nearby door opened to show Radar and Lucky entering the bay, already dressed in their own suits.

"New girl got her ship, huh?" Radar asked, patting Sara on the shoulders as he passed her.

"Yep." Dominic confirmed, pulling his pants off and slipping into his flight suit.

"We're gonna give her some work today, so be ready guys." Lucky passed by Dominic, her tone venemous as she spoke to him. "Surprised you haven't given her some "work" already, boss." She said.

Me too.... He mused, not daring to say the words out loud or face an altercation with Lucky, and possibly Sara depending on her attitude on the matter.

"Come on Lucky, show some love." He said, yet was met with the woman flipping him off as she walked to her fighter. "That's more like it." He said, chuckling.

Zipping up his flight suit he leaned back against the table, waiting for the squadron to start their maintenance for their fighters. As always Radar's maintenance was far more thorough then the others, usually trying to pull some device or another and reattach it.

She gave a chuckle"is that so" she said to herself as she looked over the fighter once more before looking back to the door as it opened watching lucky and radar walk on in

She gave a smile and nod to radar as she started gettimg the suit on, she looked to lucky after she mentioned 'work', now Sara wouldn't turn it down but she didn't Sara anything out loud...she was try to stay on the good side of lucky...thankfully the anger wasn't directed fully at her...but Dominic well...she felt sorry

can't wait to open this toy...er....i mean fighter up see how she works

She gave a chuckle dressed and ready as she went over to hers, she seemed quick as she opened the ion engine up humming to herself as she looked it over hands working on instinct more then anything

similar to a normal tie engine wise I see

I am a son of the Mountain.
Dominic looked over the flight deck as his team got to work on their fighter's. He had already serviced his own, a fighter he dubbed Bloody Mary, earlier this morning. He walked over to Lucky, leaning on the side of her wing until she finally acknowledged him. "What's up?" She asked, her tone still having a certain spice to it.

"You still upset?" He asked, crossing his arms over his chest.

"A bit. I mean, more upset you didn't ask me then anything. You could have told me before hand and I would have understood." He said, pulling a stray piece of metal from the inside of her fighter.

"You're right, Trisha. I'm sorry, but I knew we could use her on the team." He said, glancing at the piece of metal as she discarded it.

"On the team, huh?" She asked, a curios brow raising as the first time in days she gave the man an all-too knowing smile. "I know you Dom." She said quietly. "And there is only one thing you love more than flying and the Empire." Dominic snorted, turning his head to see how Sara was doing with her fighter. "Yea, a thing I haven't had in days because of you."

Lucky followed the gaze before shaking her head and exhaling a bit. "Well...at least you have good taste, she's a nice little piece." The woman said, passing Dominic on her way to the fuel ship's fuel line. He did not comment on Lucky's words but simply smirked at her before shaking his head. "We cool?" He asked, before Lucky came back around and slapped him on the back of the head. "Yea, we're cool. Not saying I won't still be pissed off."

Dominic pushed himself from the side of the wing before chuckling. "You'll always be pissed off." He said, making his way over to Sara.

"How do you like her?" He asked, gesturing towards the fighter.

Sara was to busy to look around, her eyes darting between parts as she would use her bodies flexibility to hang upside down to place parts in order wasn't long before she had the engine was in pieces sat neatly by the fighter as she started to check the parts one by one before she glanced up to Dominic

pretty damn good I'll say, so far the engines in order condition for being brand new, just gotta check the cannons next those sgousomt be to hard then fuel lines

She looked back to her parts as she stood to stretchand nodded with a smile on her face

I used to be a technician before I became a pilot, so I know my way around a fighter

I am a son of the Mountain.
Dominic watched as Sara moved to hang upside down from the fighter, causing him to chuckle a bit as he listened to her. "Another Technician? Oh hell. I thought I had enough of that with Radar." He said, running a hand over the back of his neck. He pushed a part out of the way, stepping closer to her as his eyes were only a few inches from hers.

"Pretty easy on the eyes, you." He said, before a trail of carbon fell from the ship and landed in his eye. The man cursed softly, leaning down as he dug into his eye.

Smooth... He mused to himself, removing the contacts that made his eyes a soft brown. Once he pulled the contacts from his eyes it would become apparent that Dominic's eyes were a crystalline white, with the slightest hint of blue in them. He moved back up, placing a hand on Sara's cheek with a smirk. "Even easier on my eyes now..." He said before walking around her and to his ship.

He glanced back at her before exhaling softly. "Yea...that's a thing." He said to himself.

She was still upside down as she gave a smile, she nodded as she chuckled and gave a grin as she looked yo her parts checking them quickly

don't worry, I only work on my stuff after every flight or if I don't fly for a week, I'm particular about my fights...reason why my squadron was bolt squadron...the best that could repair and fly

She watched him step closer as she crossed her arms, her eyes a nice blue, that scar going down her face making the right in a thin line. She watched him as she smirked seeing the carbon fall into his eyes as she chuckled and waited for him a s she took a risk and traces a finger on his chin

even better in a comfy place if you can guess that

She flipped back up as she jumped down and started reassembling the engine

I am a son of the Mountain.
After a quick check of his fighter and finding it to be acceptable Dominic made his way back to the center of the room. "All right, get ready to get them in the air. We're doing rush maneuvers so it's gonna do a lot of damage to the engines if you're not ready." He said, making his way back to his fighter. Dominic climbed into Blood Mary and immediately flipped the switches to bring the engine online. He kept certain functions off seeing as how they wouldn't be needed during this exercise.

Unlike usual he kept his helmet off, not needing it since they wouldn't be breaching the atmosphere or in advanced flight for a long time. Placing his comm device in his ear he called out to his team. "Ok, put your TIE's in test/practice mode. I don't want any accidents out there." Test/Practice mode would disable the ship's weapons, instead using simulated lasers on a computer in it;s place. It would also warn against any extremely difficult or risky maneuvers.

As his ship started to hover off the ground Dominic looked over his readings, satisfied with what he saw. "Phantom Lead online, call in."

"Phantom two, online." Lucky chimed in.

"Phantom three, online boss." Radar said.

"Radar, Lucky, lead us out and let's show pipsqueak how it's done." With no hesitation Lucky led the way through the shields to the outside, her TIE unit cutting through the rain as it made it's way through. Radar, followed close behind before Dominic led the way for Sara. He switched his comm to the private frequency between his and Sara's. "Training area is a bit of a ways from here, but be careful some of these waves can get pretty damn high."

He watched as Lucky led the formation, he followed closely behind her, as they veered away from Tipoca city and off the tips of the water. "You know, you seem like a lot of fun. We're happy to have you in the squadron, I'm happy to have you too." He added.

she had just finished putting the engine in, she tightened the last bolt as she shut everything and nodded seeing it all in the right place as she jumped in and looked at everything

She started up the two flipping switches as she mumbled to herself watching light flash on and looked to the readout as she nodded and then switch to safe mode watching the computer flash and give a confirmation of safe mode as she smiled and sat back

She started to hover as she checked one last time and gave a smile feeling that excitement as she spoke

phantom one...online and reading clear

She watched lucky and radar fly out as she took a breath in and out following out beside Dominic as she listened in looking at another area watching a weave about twice as high as her own fighter as she nodded

copy that, shouldn't be a problem just like dodging buildings...that randomly appear

She followed beside dom as she sighed and gave a smile to herself

do I? I guess the few months of freelancing actually did give me a bit of a personality...im glad to be on this squadron it's a blessing...just different ...first order was very very strict...i got lucky and didn't get trained from a younger age...sorry I'm ranting

I am a son of the Mountain.
The squadron flew over the waves of Kamino expertly, Dominic watched as Sara was able to maintain her own when flying with the squad. "Good." He muttered before listening to Sara. He chuckled before speaking into the comm device once more. "Don't worry I like hearing you talk. The Empire is usually pretty strict, I could be stricter but so long as we do the mission and look good to the brass I don't see a need." He explained.

"Boss, we're out of the civilian flight zone." Lucky called back to Dominic.

He keyed his comm line back to the rest of the squadron. "Ok Radar, Lucky, show her a standard rush. See if she can get a hold of it." He said. Both Radar and Lucky began to speed up, Radar following behind Lucky. A target appeared on their monitor as well as a visual placed on their viewport for an aid. The outline of an X-Wing fighter could be sen being chased by the duo. Just as the X-wing began to slow down in a turn you could hear Lucky yell out. "Now!"

Lucky and Radar's superior speeds overtook as they flew a wide birth around the fighter, coming back around side by side. They fired onto the simulated fighter, effectively marking it as destroyed. "You get it?" Dominic asked Sara.

"Simple move, just wait until the fighter is in a turn, burn your engines and get beside me." He explained.

Sara gave a smile, felt good to know she wasn't ranting at all, she looked down to her co trips hearing a click of some thing turning on then off before looking up as she watched the simulated target come up and gave a smile watching

She watched and observed, to this ace it wasn't hard at all to get it down take note of several thing's, she gave a smile as she spoke into her comm

used to do that a lot in a interceptor never had snake for it though should be fun to stay it in this thing [/color)

I am a son of the Mountain.
"Interceptors aren't all that different, now it's your turn." He said, activating their own simulated target.

An outline of an X-wing passed both of the pilots, zooming off into the distance. Dominic followed closely behind it as he awaited his partner to do the same. "No matter how good you think you are be careful. You're still not used to the sharp turns, if you do it incorrectly you can pass the target and miss entirely....or possibly run into me." He said, hoping neither of the two outcomes happened.

Dominic chased the X-wing closely, awaiting for the wide turn it would make to shake the fighters. Eventually it banked towards the waves, making the maneuver that much more difficult. Once coming close to the water it opened into a wide turn back towards the sky, Dominic smirked before pushing the thrusters to his max, making an even wider birth as he made room for Sara to move in. "Now's your chance!" He yelled out.

[member="Dominic Crowley"]

S she nodded to herself as she took a breath in watching the simulated target appear

She pushed her speed up a bit as she watched the outline move in her target indicator, normal for Sara she'd be firing to make them squirrel and be stupid. However since it was training she wasn't and spoke

copy that I'll try and be as careful as possible dom, gotta say I love this fighter

She watched it as she kept on its tail, she watched it bank as she moved womg catching a wave as she gasped and moved up string of curses following before she let a breath out. Heart was racing but nothing broke. She watched it do a wide turn and heard her go as she performed a wide turn feeling the g force pull her as she got it within he rights and let loose

I am a son of the Mountain.
Dominic followed closely beside Sara, watched her actions closely, it wasn't until when they were in their turn and she became clipped by a wave that he smirked. Training on Kamino was perfect for sharpening a pilot's reflexes. The speed and height of the waves made for excellent practice since they were not exceptionally damaging to the starfighters. However, too much of anything could be bad and even these ships would not react well to the harsh waves set upon them.

"Shoot that thing down!" He ordered, flying beside her. It was not until her cannons opened up wide and marked the target that Dominic's face came into a smile. "There you go! She can be taught ladies and gentlemen!"

It didn't take long before the others chimed in, Lucky being the first to congradulate her behind Dom. "Good job, keep that up and you'll be a phantom yet." She said.

Radar could be heard laughing over the comm channel before speaking up as well. "Good job, pipsqueak." He reinforced.

Dominic set their computers to loop the training exercise as he flew beside Sara. This time he took the trail position. "Ok, back to it Phantom, we got a long day ahead!"

[member="Dominic Crowley"]

Sara didn't stop firing to she watched it confirmed destroyed, she sat back letting a breath out as she gave a smile hearing the squadron cheer as she gave a proud smile on her face, surprised howecer about lucky chiming in...which made her feel better

hahaha yeah...yeah I'll get This! Hahahah pipsqueak will be a name to fear!

She said with joy, the training went through a dozen more time Sara leading a few of the times before soon they were on their way back to base

I am a son of the Mountain.
Training had taken about an hour, which was pretty standard for a day's exercise. The squad had more free time then combat time times a marginal number so an hour to three each day was usually enough to keep any pilot sharp.

Dom leaned back in his seat before speaking over the comm. "Good job today guys, we'll probably go over that maneuver once or twice tomorrow but I think we're good. Let's get some chow." He said. Lucky chimed in on the comm, in a much better mood then when they began. Flying generally calmed her nerves and upped her spirits. "Awesome, I'm starving." She said.

Dominic led the way back into the hanger, smiling once his ship was safely docked and tethered. "Ok team, write up your flight miles, energy usage, and ammunition's. Don't want the Engineer's on our asses again." He said.

After powering down his fighter Dominic stepped out of the vehicle, stretching as his arms extended over the ladder. "Another good training session." He turned back to a desk that was behind his landing pad, in the desk he produced a clipboard and piece of paper that held all the information he had to fill out for the training session. After filling it out he made his way to the center of the room where his duffel bag was. "Hurry up or i'm eating your chow!" He announced.

[member="Dominic Crowley"]

Sara gave a smile as she flew beside dom, she had gotten used to the controls a bit and found them more favorable over a interceptor, she listened in about getting some chow and gave a smile hearing lucky voice...sounded a lot better now...pretty good actually. She spoke as she smiled

I agree, could use some food myself actually

She followed back docking and tethered up as she listened in again and gave a smile, she shut down and got out after reading everything up, she slid down the ladder and made her way to the table

you'll have to fight me for mine hahaha

She elbowed him with a smirk and wink as she she grabbed her bag
