Description: The "Ironguard" Of 2/17th Battalion are heard by their enemies long before they are seen, but no enemy who look upon the Ironguard's troopers are seen again. This is the premium Company of the 2/17th Battalion and pride of the FN Corps' 1st Infantry Regiment. They've fought, conquered and liberated for the First Order, sacrificing their blood for one another and the First Order's greater glory. The members of the Ironguard have been raised together and so have a near-telepathic level of unit coordination and an Iron will that will never bend, only break. And it has yet to be broken by any enemy. They've developed a powerful emotional bond with one another so strong it could dwarf their conditioned duty to the First Order for when they look at each other they see the embodiment of what it should mean to be a First Imperial. The company is considered elite and their vehicles are a uniform matte black with their company's insignia featuring a planet cracking between a pair of jaws; foreshadowing the fate of those who opposed them and their resolution. Their loyalty to the Supreme Leader is noted by friend and loathed by the foe, and sing songs with the Supreme Leader and First Order as the subject. The Ironguard is second to almost none in their ability to assault an enemy position with extreme violence and blinding speed. They take custody of it irrelevant of defences and then fortify it accordingly with a maze of slit trenches and gun pits. The Ironguard are quite ruthless and not above using First Order Auxiliaries as meat-shields so as to identify strong points and gun positions in their foe's defences. The Company's leadership is characterised by their ruthless efficiency and advocacy for the summary execution of unlawful combatants, terrorists and criminals who engage in military action against the First Order.
