Standing on an elevated walkway between two skyscrapers, Sebastian craned his neck far over to watch as the heights of Coruscant pierced the clouds. He always enjoyed being this far up in a city, especially since many of his days were spent monitoring communications in a cramped bunker far below ground level. Electronic music pulsated from several different sound systems located in the surrounding buildings, their windows lighting up the day in a flurry of colour.

Hitting a button on his wrist device, Sebastian displayed the next puzzle in a string of clues he had been following since he discovered them on the holonet. When cracked, the solution to the next one lead to a screen displayed on one of the buildings, where the following question was enclosed somewhere inside. Leaning on the balcony, Sebastian tilted his head to read the question, the light from the speeder craft shining through the words on the holo-screen.

"I wanna dance under the falling sky and see the sun raving next to me!" The message read, continuing with the same lyrics of the song that was being played on the screen.

When decrypted, the lyrics revealed the coordinates to the building, where Sebastian had followed it from the last location in the puzzle. Assured of himself, he listened to the song for a while and turned off his wrist device, now quite certain he was in the right place. Turning around, he walked into the towards the adjoining skyscraper and through the doorway on the other side. Silence overcame the floor, disrupted only by the tap of Sebastian's combat boots as he spent the moment wandering around with the lingering feeling that he was being watched.

Out the corner of his eye, a figure with light hair approached, having been leaning against the corner when he arrived. Her appearance matched the holo-projection on her profile and he recognized her immediately as the woman investigating the case surrounding the puzzle. Withdrawing, Sebastian froze in his stance, then relaxed and approached her. Wearing a loose, black T-shirt with an equation on the front and army pants, he appeared every bit the young genius who would be solving the puzzle in question.

"Hello, you must be Kelsie." Sebastian said, somewhat meekly, as this was his first time meeting the woman. Holding down his wrist device, he scratched his nose to hide his crooked teeth and scanned the floor from one wall to the next, then turned to face her. "I'm Sebastian, but you can call me Bas if you like." Managing a slight smile, Sebastian scratched his head as he offered her his nicknmame, before hitting the button on his wrist device to display the message, along with the coordinates he had found by cracking the cipher.

"This was the last puzzle, when I cracked it, I found the coordinates to this building, the next question should be somewhere near the system projecting that video." He affirmed, showing Kelsie his workings out. A pause followed, filled by a slight sigh from Sebastian as he returned to the most pressing issue of the puzzles themselves.

"Somebody else solved it, is that right?" Sebastian asked, lowering his voice. Gripping his hair, he turned around to make sure that nobody was listening to them speak, before facing Kelsie again. He had already heard that somebody else had reached the last question, which meant they had vanished without a trace. Sebastian, of all the participants, had got the furthest without disappearing, having reached the song lyric cipher which was the dead end for everyone so far who had tried to solve it.

After this clue, they vanished, no trace of them, just a string of ciphers which had lead them to the point of no return.

Kelsie hadn't been waiting all that long -- she rather hated Coruscant and didn't want to spend too much time on that particular planet. But there she was anyways. With a little time between her various commitments she'd decided to go digging for something to do on the Holonet -- and soon enough she was checking the trail of disappearances that had stumped local security forces across the galaxy. She'd managed to meet one of the people doing those puzzles. It hadn't ended that well, and Kelsie was feeling rather bitter at the feeling of failure.

She was already annoyed -- but Sebastian kicked it up to eleven.

She stayed silent, her hazel eyes piercing the young man standing before her. The silence hung heavily in the air for several seconds, with the young woman basically forcing the awkwardness onto the poor young genius. Her eyes hold a slight anger, and finally she begins to speak. "First, that's not my name. You're six steps behind, Sebastian. Second, you're a moron for continuing this without insurance or at least a half-decent bodyguard. Third, I know someone solved it because I knew the person that did and I know they're gone." Her eyes narrowed. She didn't like guys like this. Some kid presuming to know who he's talking to -- she was considering not leaving it to whatever this puzzle-master was and just giving him a slug herself.

"Don't approach me again. I'll be watching, and I'll step in if anything happens." She folded her arms, waiting for him to move on. As soon as he did, she'd wait a bit and follow, moving to her second shadowing techniques to throw him off and make sure no one knew where exactly she was. Wouldn't want anyone shadowing the shadow.
