Rosa wasn't entirely sure at what point she had changed her course for Cato. She couldn't sleep, the transmission played over and over agin in her mind, her chest throbbing every time she watched the lightsaber ignite and end Darron's life. She ignored message and calls that came from Sanctum space. She shut them all out, all of her friends and focused on one thing.
Finding the killer.
The force bond she had with Darron had never broken, no matter how far apart they had gotten. She had built a new life, married another man lived by different rules to him, but still she was connected to him. That was what a child did to people, when you had created a life it created a bond that you couldn't begin to explain to others. That life became a part of the force before it had had a chance to be a part of their life and everything changed, but the bond remained. Had she still loved Darron? Perhaps, in a way, but that wasn't what brought her here.
The gold hull glittered in Cato's sunlight as it passed between mountains and over bridge cities following the tug of the force. She found a landing pad, and began her decent amid cries and shouts over the comms. She reached up activating her link so she cold respond. "I'm her to investigate the murder of a Jedi Master. You will comply with my request to land or I will make you comply." Silence answered her cold voice then a series of instructions for landing flashed across her screen. She followed them, powered the ship down and disembarked. A neimoidian councillor rushed to her side "The Jedi Order made no mention of sending someone to investigate."
"I'm not from the Order."
"But you are Jedi?" Rosa paused to look at him dark eyes surveying him with a look akin to an apex predators. He took half a step back.
"You have a strong military presence here, why did no one interfere?"
"I..."
"My name is Rosa Gunn, I'm not a Jedi of the Order, but I am a jedi of sorts. The Jedi Master that was killed is...was a close friend. I intend to find out who killed him. If you can and wish to help me, then I would be appreciative. If not, stay out of my way." She turned to go making it three steps away before the Councillor spoke again.
"Is it not against the code to seek revenge?" Rosa turned to look back at him.
"I'm not seeking revenge, I'm seeking justice."
