For peace!!! [Hasjo Hallu]

[Vykon Halke]

Vykon stared out the window as the traffic flew by, he tried contacting @[member="Hasjo Hallu"]. Rumor had it that this Jedi was actually interested in peace. Vykon needed allies and he had been tipped off that Hasjo wasn't quite as warmongering as the rest. He sorted through some files as he waited.

Hasjo Hallu suddenly entered the office.
He had received a transmission from Vykon, but he was suspicious. What would a business man want anything to do with him? It was known that Hasjo's views on some specific Jedi weren't warm, to say the least. His traditional values often conflicted with the newer, modernised Jedi. Though Hasjo held himself in rank among the Republic Navy as a Captain of the Jalor section. And had accompanied many higher-ranking Jedi on many missions, he was one with a very little death count. In fact, it was nonexistent. Hasjo had fought more than his fair share, but no deaths had resulted in his conflicts. He was one that disabled his enemies, and took them alive. All life was sacred, or so he believed. Entering the office of Vykon, with Hasjo he had his R9 astromech unit. R9-LH had been a companion of Hasjo since one of his first space operations, and had since remained a loyal friend.

Vykon was impressed and shocked at his sudden speedy appearance. Maybe he was a clairvoyant as well. But anyways, he was glad the Jedi could come. "Greetings, Hasjo." He offered. "I'm glad you could come."

Hasjo nodded in greeting "Vykon. I am curious as to why you wished to speak to me?" He took the initiative and found himself a seat across from Vykon. The Nautolan wrapped himself in his woollen brown cloak, as though it were cold. It was neither cold, nor were Nautolans easily susceptible to the cold, they held a strong resistant and tolerance for it.

"I believe we share common beliefs. A common goal, unlike some." Vykon replied, noticing the Nautolan all wrapped up. " Is it cold?" He asked, rising, prepared to turn the room temperature down.

"The temperature is fine" Hasjo waved his hand in dismissal of the question. Hasjo reached out with a long, green, webbed index finger and stroked his chin "Elaborate on these common beliefs and goals? I am still confused as to why I am here."

"Peace. However, I believe we both can agree that the Republic has little interest in it. You are here, because I have created a group. With the hopes and intents of overthrowing the Republic and creating a lasting peace."

Hasjo sat there quietly for a moment. Meditating on this news. He glanced over his shoulder with his large, oval shaped black eyes. Making sure no one was at the door. Looking back to Vykon, he leaned forward in his chair "You have my attention, go on.."

 

[Vykon Halke]

Vykon sat back down. He continued talking, quietly. "The Republic is corrupt, uninterested in peace. They want control, power. So I've created a group, the Galactic Alliance, composed of individuals who genuinely want peace to oppose the Republic and it's dictators."

"Your words are wise" Hasjo considered, running his finger along his chin. He stood and moved to the window, gazing down. Thoughts flooded his mind on all sides. He turned to Vykon "But how can we oppose the Republic? They're powerful, surely we don't have the strength? The Jedi are numerous, and not many are willing to go against them. I haven't even finished my training yet. Where would I learn, who can teach me the ways?"

"The tyrannical actions of the Republic do not go unnoticed. Others, from outside, rally to our cause. They won't withstand a combined assasult." Vykon wasn't going to give him names or locations yet. It was too risky. "There are people who can train you, but for now you'd continue as normal. While we prepare."

"Well, then" Hasjo rolled his shoulder, digging himself deeper into his cloak, eying Vykon. "I will await further word, and continue as normal." He gracefully made his way across the room, clicking his fingers for R9 to follow him out.

Vykon returned to his 'work' as the Nautolan left. It seemed he had gotten someone else on board. Hopefully. He'd know dpending on whether the Republic Law Enforcement showed up to arrest him for treason within the hour. But Jedi tended to be honest, so he shouldn't have anything to worry about.
