Naboo. Just out side of Theed.

Elias needed to protect himself. With having a Lightsaber lance he was tasked with the difficulty in trying to block other attacks. he needed a shield of some type. Then only problem with that was that he needed to be light. With all of this extra Tech that was attacked to him he was very venerable to attacks.

he made sure that he was wearing his choker that was actually a hidden helmet. he took off his Mech wings. he wouldn't need them for what he was doing. From his ship he pulled out his Speeder and revved the engine.

Naboo was his home away from home. he was born here. But he couldn't think about the holo that was in his ship of his possibly dead father. He knew that he needed a shield but what type was a different story all together. Elias had his Lightsaber lance clipped onto the side of the speeder and with the press of a button on the choker with the force a helmet sprang up and made a clink clink clank clunk sounds to form a solid, gold colored helmet with white wings on the side. The HUD came up and alerted him of his walking speed to the bike. 2.3 kmh. slow walking speed. He smiled as he turned on his engine to go into town.

ZyTech Naboo Branch

Arumi Zy, the sith of a by gone era and a stranger to this new day had kept himself buisy since his reemergence. Both in cultivating the appearance of a non-force user and as a ceo of a new development firm that specialised in Pharmacuticals, artifice and engineering as well as collecting new contacts and allies. Today he was over seeing the finishing touches on one of his firms, a one story complex that would be used to develop armor and other various technologies that would be sold to Jedi, Sith and Republic alike. He moced around the facility making sure all of the sensitive equipment was being prepared properly. Gyrostats were stabilized, innertia dampeners were place in the proper axis and the machinery that would cut the small and delicate parts of a dozen machines was being prepared and installed down to the nano-meter.

Elias was looking on his map systems as he sped towards the city. he tried looking at all the blacksmiths or other weapons/armor contractors in the area. he found a few small shops and a few larger firms. He would check out the smaller blacksmiths and see if they were a force user like him. That way it would be easier for him to make it with the master rather than make it on his own.

the first man he want to was a drunkard that fixed normal house materials such as tools and furniture. No way in heck was there going to be a Force user there. Elias walked to the next one because it was just around the corner and all he found was a old man that could hardly old the tools in his hands. With a shake of his head he decided that he would go to a firm named ZyTech. It seemed large and the name had a slight ring to it. With some enthusiasm Elias Arna jogged to his speeder and zoomed to the building.

he parked just out side the front doors and turned off his engine. he had his helmet activated and didn't know if this was ran by someone who may have been in league with some very..... Evil people. Elias walked up the steps two at a time with the staff in hand. What may look like a staff was really his lightsaber lance. He walked in hearing the skeet hiss of the doors opening for him. he walked in side hopping that he would find what he was looking for.

Arumi was continueing to bark orders to his new staff and the idiots he had hired to install his facility. Top notch experts at installation and building maintainence his hind quarters, he went to the closest hydrospanner and started tweaking it before he heard the hiss of the durasteel doors. The sith turned tail and moved towards the front of the building, half expecting it to be the plamsa cutting deck that he had ordered. What he saw though wasn't a plasma cutting deck but a scruffy looking young man with a staff, no not a staff it was a style of saber he had never seen.

Before the young man had a chance to react the sith grabbed the weapon and turned it in his hand, eyeing the weapon. It was decently constructed and it had the aura of battle about it, the sith tossed the weapon back to the new comer. " Not bad kid, not bad at all. Job applications are with the secretary" he said expecting this guy to be looking for a job.

Elias' mouth hung open to object to the man who had taken his lance. Though nobody could see that him mouth was open he closed it when the man said a compliment about making it. he was glad that a- Wait he was a force user! He undid his helmet making the clinking sounds again. he caught the lance and scoffed at the remark about the job application.

"you obliviously see that I can make a lightsaber, Sir. But Im not looking for a job. Im here for a meeting with a specific type of person." Elias Walked torwads the man who was, from what he could tell, a Master of the force. "I think it is you who I am looking for?"

Arumi arched an eyebrow at the young man as he removed his sun glasses, he was ready to reach for his saber if need be but he didn't feel the boy was a threat or going to engage him. He took on a relaxed demener " Many people look for me for many things, i am going to assume since you are in one of my manufacturing and research centers this is business and not pleasure?" he moved over towards the receptionist desk and started flipping through papers " We are only 70% operational here at the moment, we can do some things right now and I can do things that are more involved with the construction of artifice such as sabers, echani dueling shields and the ilk in my private studio".

" Lets hear what you need, and we will see if we can make some progress" he said as he lit up a smoke.

Elias followed him to the desk in front of the door. It was in its first stages in being built and it didn't have a front panel. He lisened to the information that he had on the Company. He didnt care about that. "Light-shield. Im going to make a Bracer that emits a lightsaber tech shield." Elias was about to let the man answer but continued. "But its of course stronger than a Duelists shield so I need lightsaber tech and help to build it since I do not know how to make one."

Elias rested his hands on the desk in front of the Master "I know you are a Sith or Jedi master from the power that radiates from you. I dont care about the faction I just want some help." He knew that he may have sounded a bit demanding but he didnt want the master to get the wrong idea and try to tunr him to what ever side he was or swindle him into doing something Elias might regret.

" Help, that can be arranged" he said as he moved from behind the receptionist desk.

Arumi's interest was peaked by the idea of a saber bracer, he didn't exactly know how he could forge one. He would need to install reflector shields to limit the scope of the saber beam, special emiters and a strong power source. " A saber style dueling shield?" he said as he began to move down the hallway signaling for the man to follow him " Hmm interesting concept, can' think of the time when anyone else tried it. some would probably say it is insane, but luckily for you i am up for the challenge. We are short on a few saber tech supplies but we can get something together" he said as he slid a key card into a lock and the door opened exposing his private work shop.
Benches, and other machines lined the walls. " Lets see if we can get a sketch together of exactly what you are looking for then we will see if it is feesible. It might be and it might not be" he said as he pulled out a piece of graphite and some grid paper and slid them towards Ellias.

Elias nodded his head when he was told that help would be granted to him. Elias followed him to the private work shop that was hidden from others. The door beeped when t read the card and opened reveling a world of machines and tools. Elias smiled as the graphite and paper was placed in front of him. "I can do that." He remarked while picking up the graphite. He leaned down and started to draw out the plans that he had. It was a simple bracer made of Songsteel with an emitter placed in the center of the arm more towards the wrist.

He moved over to the other side of the blueprints and stated to draw the shape he desired for the actual shield. Being that it was oval and would run lengthwise across his arm. It was made that way so he wouldn't have a large shield that would hinder his movement. He may have taken a shile to draw it becuase he needed the right length and size for the bracer and the shield. What may have seemed only minutes may have been hours. Elias couldnt tell how long it had been when he finished drawing the plans.

He placed the graphite down and looked over the plans one more time to make sure that there were no mistakes. He smirked and said "I think this will do." He moved the blueprints to the side so the Master could see what it was made out of.

Arumi took the sketch into his hand and started to peer over it, disecting it and trying to piece together the construction process and all of the intricate parts needed. " standard emitter would be useless" he said as he fumbled through some of the desks and drawers. Pulling out a blue print of his own and setting it down " Would need something much different then the normal focus crystals, maybe a krayt pearl, or a composite crystal with a central flaw" he said as he continued to fumble around for different blue print " And we would need some sort of deflector bracing for the bracer to prevent accidental severing of limbs and burns, phrik composite maybe. Cortosis alloy or maybe i can swing some beskar" he sat down a few more blue prints that contained the theoretical parts that would be required.

" Most of these are in the early phases, havn't had a reason to assemble them or test them. But i think we have very little choice":

Elias nodded at the man "Yes a normal lightsaber emitter would not work. It would likely cut my hand off." He listened to the master. He thought about the Cortosis, but from last he remembered Cortosis shorted out lightsabers. However he did know that something to block the lightsaber built shield, so his hand wouldn't have the chance to touch it. The problem with Beskar was that it was heavy and could be bad for Elias' fighting style. Phrik was most likely the best choice.

"Phrik Composite will work. Beskar is alittle to heavy for my taste."

With looking at the 'early phase' items that may have worked he agreed. "It seems that way. If we make this Ill test it out for you then.

" Hmm " he grumbled as he sorted through a few of the tool boxes, taking out wiring, filiments and countless other small components. " Ok i will have to get the measurements of your wrist, and forearm so i can fab this guard up. Then we will need to assemble a few of these pieces, since it is saber tach i am going to assume you want a specific color" he said as he pulled out a few smaller tools and sat them on his work bench.

He pulled out a large foam block and sat it down " Memory Foam, i need you to sink your arm into it and let it mold, then we we will cut it off in two pieces and i will be able to poor it so i have a working exact replica of your arm to model the guard on" he said as he continued to look through all of his boxes for the parts.

Elias watched as he was fumbling around in the tool boxes looking for some pieces. He nodded his head at the Mans question. "Yes I would like it a color that matches me." Elias then began to take off his left bracer and glove. If he was going to get a replica of his arm it might as well be the real arm. He looked at his hand and then at the memory foam he rubbed his wrist and looked at the Master. "which do you want to do first measure my wrist and arm or take a mold of it?"

" I will take a mold of it and model the piece onto the molded arm, that way i can see exact dimensions i will have to focus on" he said as he took out a small electrum box that would house some of the finer circuits of the power emitter. " That way i can model the components into position before attempting assembly and more importatnly no one else besides you will be able to use this" he said as he took a small wire made of gold and soldered it into place in the electrum box.
" idoubt anyone else would, this thing is going to cost half of a space ship to construct."

Elias listened to him and his mouth fell open when he said that the arm would cost almost as much as a space ship. "Jeze there go my savings." he shook his head as he stuck his hand in the foam to be shaped to his arm. the memory foam came up to reach his elbow He ddint know how much extra room the man may need so he put all of his fore arm in. "Looks like I will be applying for a job here." Elias said jokingly. With how much the armor piece would cost he would have to get more Credits somewhere. He just didnt know where right now.

" All you owe me is a favor to be called in at a later day" he said as he continued to assemble the fine, sensetive equipment in the small housing. He sat it down and reached over towards two flat pieces of metal. With a hammer he started to strike them, one by one and slam by slam he shaped them into the appropriate shape in order to make the light emit out in the shape of the shield. He carefully fit the housing unit into the emitter, holding his breath as he soldered the two components into one piece.

" If i have the angle right, it will emit in the correct angle and not cut your arm off" he said as he signaled for him to remove his arm from the foam.

He watched as the man slammed the hammer down on the components working the pieces together. Elias was glad that he would only have to pay the man back in the form of a favor. Elias moved his arm from the mold that had solidified slightly around his arm. With that he rubbed his wrist again as his hand was free. "Well thats good. I rather like my hand." Elias responded to the man who had made the actual emmiter. "Well Im sorry but My name Is Elias and I didnt get yours. If you want a favor later on id like to know who im doing it for."

OOC: sorry I have been caught up with RL stuff and can finaly get a chance to get back to this. Sorry if I took a long time.

Arumi turned his head around and arched a brow at the young man, his hand never missing a beat as he moved several small components into place and soldered them. " Arumi Zy" he said as he turned away from the piece he was working on. He went over towards the foam block and carefully slit it into two pieces, then carved a small hole that the material would go into to create the replica of his arm.

" tell me about yourself Ellias, you have already guessed i am a master of the arts and that is as far as i will take that for now. But tell me about yourself, your drive and your ambition for a tool of battle" he said as he poored the plaster into the mold and waited for it to harden.

Elias nodded his head. "well I guess I would be a padawan or apprentice rank. I... I want to find my father." He left a pause. as he thought about the holo where his father talked to him about the helm and the lightsaber crystal that he had in his pocket. "He left me a holocron of him telling me a clue to where I can find his next one. I was told to prepare myself for war. So thats what I am doing."

Elias pulled out the purple crystal that came from his fathers shop and handed it to Arumi. "I think you may need this for the shield."

A noble persuit indeed the sith thought as he listened to the young man, family and ones heritage was important. He himself had thought about looking for the descendants of his bloodline, but explaining grand pappy was back after fifteen hundred years was no easy feat. His eyes shifted back to the purple saber crystal as he took it from the young man. He peered over it several times inspecting its every perfection and every flaw.

" this will do rather quite nicely" he said as he sat it down beside the emitter housing. he moved back towards the mold and checked the time on it, it wasn't hardened yet. " You do understand this shield will not be as strong as a focused saber. Maybe in time i can develope a proper prototype, but dont expect to be slicing through a foot of durasteel with it anytime soon" he patted his shirt down and produced a pack of smokes, he lit one then moved back to his bench. Most of the internal guts had been configured, delicate and fine enough to belong in a museum if he had to say so himself. " War, war always comes to those who seek. Even if we do not seek it out, it always manages to find those that belong to it. I have seen more then my fair share of it, have caused enough of it and have been hunted more then enough for it. I can give you some advice, if you are willing to listen. No matter how strong you are, how skilled and how talent you are with the force". he paused for a moment and reached his hand out towards a tool bench and clenched his fist, the bench crunched into a tight ball to make his point " There is always someone better, someone more skilled and someone who has a proverbial bullet with your name on it. Surround yourself by strong friends and strong allies, because i can see great enemies in your path".
