For you, anything

Tamith sighed as she walked down the docks. She wore only her green scale armor from her homeworld. There was a small bag tied to her waist containing a jar of green body paint. Her rancor tooth hung between her breasts, swaying back and forth as she walked almost stomped toward her goal. A small jetpack was strapped to her back, she despised it but in a world of blasters it was the only way to survive as a melee fighter.

She had been asked by Olthogo to escort the Salty Mynock on a run. She had accepted before asking what exactly hat meant and now she was regretting it. She had assumed she would be flying wingman to the other ship but apparently Olthogo had a different idea. She saw the ship ahead and wasted no time in walking right up to it. She pressed her comm on the channel she had been given and spoke in a husky voice.

“This is Tamith-Kes of the Empress I am sent to escort you on your next mission, may I board?”

Her red hair hung loose about her, some of it tangling around the force pike at her back. Were she in battle her hair would be braided as a warrior. She hoped for a quiet run but a part of her yearned for some kind of excitement. Olthogo was paying her well not that she cared, most of her personal funds went to freeing slaves.

Candez tapped away at the arms of the co-pilot chair. His Togruta pilot, Bobees Maash flew them over steadily to the meeting point. Candez had been given a job by some Hutts, he hadn't a clue which ones. All he knew, was that it was a job, and he had been rather bored with the number of jobs he had been getting recently. Which was basically none.

They arrived, and the Salty Mynok was guided down to the docks below, which was when a communication was linked to the Salty Mynok. Candez patched it through, then leaned back with his feet up on the dash, much to Bobees's distaste. "Candez 'ere, you may come aboard the lovely Salty Mynok. Once we've landed, of course." He closed the comm, then opened up the intercom. "Yam, please stand by the door, would you?" All he heard was a grunt from the tanky Kel-Dor. "Good man."

This Candez sure seemed cheery. Tamith waited impatiently for the ship to land. She was on a mission. If he wanted to talk she would just as she would have any passenger onboard the Empress interviewed. She looked at the ship, it was sleek and a little too pretty for her taste. Once the ramp was down she gave the Kel Dor a look which seemed to be the closest she could get to happy. The only time she truly smiled was in battle.

She walked up but didn’t presume to touch the ramp. She held her hands out for inspection. She carried no blaster only her force pike and blaster. She waited to see what the Kel Dor would do. Men usually tried to get overly handsy with her and she tended to put them back in their place hard.

“Olthogo the old has sent me as an escort. I require very little.”

Candez waited inside the cockpit. Meanwhile, the Kel-Dor Yam Yaw shrugged, as it didn't care much. He waved the woman along, still standing guard in case that someone else tried to come aboard. Candez, still in the cockpit, stood up from his chair to greet the woman, [member="Tamith-Kes"] with a grin and a two finger salute. He was rather surprised at the face paint, although he had no idea what to expect at all. The same went for her ship. He went back to his seat, checking other things from his side. Their astromech, R7-X3 came into the cockpit, merely to observe the newcomer. It gave a bleep of short greeting, then turned away.

"So, you're my escort...how good are you at that, may I ask?" the Duros asked to the woman. He signaled to the Togruta for them to prepare for takeoff. "You taking your own ship, or would you like to be among this beauty of a ship?" Their astromech came by, checking through the ships systems.

Invited aboard the ship she kept her eyes on the Kel Dor and paid the droid little attention. When he was the first to speak she assumed his status as captain of the ship. He asked how good she was so she just looked at him and bared her teeth in a threatening glance before returning to her normal stare. She was not one to boast so she broke the silence with little embellishment.

“I have not been bested yet or else I would not be standing before you. I have killed many which I find unfortunate.”

He asked if she was taking her own ship and she got a wistful look. It was the closest to softness she would come. She felt uneasy being away from her and her friends. She shook her head and relaxed a small bit.

“Olthogo has asked me to ride along with you. As I have said I require very little. Rations and a bit of floor will be more than enough. I have little in the way of rules. Do not touch me and if you wish to remain unharmed do not try to stop me.”

Candez looked back just in time to see[member="Tamith-Kes"] bared teeth and glare, and he knew from then on that he no longer had any need to question her of her competence. He turned back to the console, trying to shrug off the shivering feeling that the glare gave him. He felt a jolt as the pilot began to have them lift up, and Candez quickly put a hand on the Togruta's shoulder. They weren't leaving just yet. Not until Tamith told him what she was going to do, on whether or not she was sticking about on their ship or not.

And she did just that soon. "Okay, so you're gonna stay with me...So, what does Olthogo want at, Mustafar was it?" he asked. Then he recalled something. "Wait, isn't Mustafar in First Order territory?" He had yet to meet someone of the First Order. He hadn't heard much of them either.

"I haven't met with them before. Don't know how they'll react, either." Most of his work would sometimes be considered...illegal by some of the galaxies factions. "Well, whatever the case, we should head out very soon. And I expect that the Hutt give me compensation, if things go bad."

“I don’t ask what he wants I just get it. He most likely wants you to go because my ship is tied to Olthogo, he must want discretion. Knowing him as well as I do I can tell you two things. It is valuable and it is not slaves. Who’s territory it is does not matter. We will complete the mission.”

She had never met them either but she was willing to bet they were not willing to part with this shipment. Olthogo knew she prefered legal cargo but if legal cargo was their goal she would be taking the Empress and not this Salty Mynok.

“If things go bad… When things go bad we will deal with it then. Olthogo must want whatever it is badly. I am sure you can ask for a bonus if we bring it back undamaged, just… Let me talk to him, he gets cranky.”

She sat in one of the jump seats and shifted uncomfortably. She did not enjoy being a passenger. It wasn’t the pay she was doing this for, she had little use for credits. She was doing it because Olthogo asked and he was the closest thing she had to a family.
