Would a staff be allowed that magnifies Force Powers and as long as it's in use allows access to some Force Powers the user wouldn't have otherwise?

This varies. How great is the magnification, what abilities are unique to the staff that the person may or may not have had access to originally/without it?Warren Century said:

Well it would basically be like a key, unlocking the potential the person has. (As no one's willing to train my char, and I've been looking repeatedly... ) The powers unique to it would be a powerful purple ray of energy that it could fire, easily capable of destroying an armored vehicle heded at him/her, and it would also allow them elemental capabilities similar to the Shapers, plus lightning, and the Force Push/Pull abilities. Would such a staff be overpowered?

From talking with you and reading your plans... I can only tell why II never offered. You want to learn something then mass produce and sell it like a trinket to everyone. Most trainers even myself who is willing to train nearly anyone aren't going to support that.
As for unlocking potential.... that is hard and vague.... really the force is infinite and potential of people equally so. This isn't avatar where benders have distinct nations, this isn't star trek where potential means psychic powers. The force could do nearly anything and aside from a small handful of instances. Most force users can do anything or learn anything.
If you were an alchemist and sith sorcerer you might be able to enchant it with enhance force sensitivity to give a boost to force users and even make non force users able to use the force. Maybe at best but you would need someone like Rave, Zaiden, Balaya, Valik, Velok, Circe maybe, Silara was I believe before she died.
