Force Question

Hey there, so a few questions I was thinking about. The first is simple, does anyone know the name of Kylo Ren's Force Hold and Force Mind thing that he uses? The hold to freeze the bullet and the mind thing that basically breaks Poe. Wanted to find a way to get Jardo to learn them, they fit his character well.

Probably some extreme use of Telekinesis

Torture by Chagrin maybe? Or just exerting painful amounts of the force on someone's mind.

The mental portion could be something similar to Torture by Chagrin. As for the blaster bolt I'm not sure but perhaps something akin to a Force Barrier or bubble. Course could be some sort of variant on Force Grip. My 2 cents.also i would link but am currently on mobile.

It's actually probably drain knowledge, chagrin would've made Poe extremely embarrassed and would have broken him over time. Drain knowledge attempts to pull the knowledge from his mind, hence him resisting.

The movies don't name their Force powers. Stopping a blaster bolt in midair is almost certainly an advanced application of telekinesis, but it's unlikely it'll ever have a proper name.

As you can see and read, there's rarely one answer to these sort of questions.

Take the removal of information against someone's will. It could be as simple as Telepathy - he goes in and rummages around for information - or some form of Drain Knowledge or...

Well you get the point. Many Force powers could be adapted to fit the outcome - and there's often a blur between where one ends and another begins. Even in the books, the actual Ability is rarely named - rather it is the result that's described.

So pick one that feels logical and use it.
