Based on the Holographic Disguise Matrix invented by Snivvian bounty hunter Sinrich, the Force-Tech HS-7S is a holoshroud designed specifically for starships. It features adjustable holographic projectors at key points that can overlay an image of another starship on top of the actual starship itself. This effectively allows the ship to be disguised as another ship. The image must be created and stored beforehand, but you can install multiple images if you have the memory or data cards. The image must be roughly the same size and shape as the base ship for the projectors to overlay the image, and the image is only a projection and will not stand up to close scrutiny or physical touch. However, if the only change is the color of the ship, and it retains the exact same shape and size, then this is not the case. The holoshroud does NOT change the ship's transponder code. Agrinium mesh on the projectors somewhat protects them from Ion/EMP attacks, but a successful hit will still knock out the system and disable any projection. The best and recommended use of this system is simply for altering the color scheme of the ship, and Force-Tech neither endorses nor condones any use of these systems for illegal activities.
