Force User background needed

[Cao Ran Rhobar]

Heyho boys and girls,

I am not sure about my characters background and biography. I want him to be trained and raised as a force user, especially focused on lightsaber combat, but don´t know where or who could have done that.
Gray > Light > Dark is my preference

Any ideas, proposals?

Rhobar trained with a mysterious Gray Master as a boy. *insert random name on backwater planet here.* Becoming a talented student as a boy. Later, he joined the Galactic Republic and fought against the Sith Empire in the Outer Rim for many, many years. Honing his craft as a warrior and as a duelist. After the fall of the Galactic Republic he later joined the Galactic Alliance and became a legendary swordsman among the Jedi ranks of Sullust. Impressing many with his rare skills and dedication.

Silver Jedi Order is another option, since GR/GA were straight Light-side Jedi, whereas SJO can be more neutral-y.

They were based on Voss for a long time, that might help with having a place for training.
