Cylus Jest

Servant of the Inquisition
The crystal in front of Cylus intrigued him, it held sentience and now he was about to put it to good use. It had taken a long while scouring around until he'd finally found this crystal, it was interesting not just because of it's sentience but because it held the ability to bend and manipulate the Force as well.

Manipulation of the Force was handy to have, especially when it was bound into a person who owed allegiance to him. It would definitely help in his day to day activities of hunting down Force users and it would also provide a fair bit of protection against the inevitable activities of the criminal underworld.

His mind flickered to a new point as he watched the crystal, spinning around he revealed the droid which he had been laboring on with assistance from some Undying and a pair of astromechs. The droid was powered off, it's center opened up and ready. A crystal alone would be useful, but a crystal does not win battles.

Force powered machines on the other hand were quite more likely to win battles. Cylus slipped on a pair of heavily protected gloves, unsure of what direct contact with the crystal would bring about as he sat it down into the machine's center. It fit snugly in there, and it didn't take the astromechs long to fit about the various circuitry to accept the crystal.

The machine was powering on now and with it the hopes of a better sort of guardian. The best protection he could bring along with him short of calling upon an arrogant Sith Lord to help.
With a sturdy voice, muffled only slightly by his mask he called out his first words to the 'new' being.
"Hello Echelon. Welcome."

In a deep cold voice. He looked at his friend and said.
"Hello... Master, what now sir?"
He would look around curious of his surroundings and his own silver-like body, staring at his hands then back at his new master. With a beep he said
"Thank you. Just thank you, I'll miss my group mind though. And all those long years of waiting. I'm just glad."
Being friends with a Sith like Cylus would be a great experience, being his bodyguard would be better. Echelon always had dreams of leaving his group mind behind and being in a singe insatiably curious mind. He was ready to learn abut being on a limited time sketch ready to act quicker than his other shards who would take centuries just to decide over what to do.

He felt... Almost intoxicated with this new experience and adrenaline rushing through his metallic body.

Cylus nodded once at the gratitude that the fellow was speaking. He was pleased with this, now he would have a being of surprising power protecting him at every moment...following his orders, but probably only when it saw fit to do so.

"For now, just accompany me." He spoke as he spun around on his heel, motioning to the world around them.

Echelon would provide the services that Cylus simply couldn't...he would be vital in the elimination of beings who were too steeped in the power of the light for him to defeat, specifically those few masters of the Jedi. Echelon was still going to be weak though...for a time, until he could learn of true power. Cylus didn't dare give over this one prize to the Sith, no, this one was his to command. Echelon was not going to be tainted by their power lust, instead Cylus would teach him ways of gaining power and keeping a level head.

"Is everything in working order?" He asked inquisitively.

"Lets see..."
Would extend his right arm, it would take a while but suddenly his backhand opens a T-21 Blaster
"Check."
He would jump up and down 2 times, until he would start hovering above the ground for 15 seconds.
Echelon would then place 2 fingers on where an ear would be and starts to speak.
"Testing testing, hello?"
He would nod slowly at his master checking if his gears are working, move consecutively faster the more he walks until he reaches his destination in back of Cylus.

Cylus nodded once in success as the machine went through an improvised checklist incliding use of it's fuel. Normally he might feel a twinge of disappointment at the use of fuel, but he saw the logic in testing the system and he felt a ball of pride fill the arteries of his soul. He had given this being a form, a body.

Already Echelon was engaging in conversation in his discovery of his new body. It would likely not be his last or final form, but he would probably always remember this as his first.
"Does it suit you" He asked with a nod.

"Well its my first time in a mechanical body!"
Echelon said with intent, still staring at Cylus, being grateful for this opportunity of being in an actual body not in a cave watching centuries go by without a clue. Echelon would keep on staring at Cylus waiting for a response from his new master and friend.
