It had been awhile since he had been to the Jakku Jedi Enclave.

The place was practically deserted.

Make no mistake, there were still sentients here, even some Padawans and a Knight or two who recognized him. Caltin was not here to be a jerk and be rude, he acknowledged them, and had short conversations with each. He was not here for them though. He was not here for Lossa Aureus Lossa Aureus , or Briana Sal-Soren Briana Sal-Soren . They were probably on Naboo anyway. Rumor has it that there was an Enclave there too.

No, Caltin was here to get some things out of his office. He was still technically the Battlemaster here until notified otherwise. His office was occupied by someone else now. Annoying, but not unexpected, after all, it’s been awhile since he had been here. So he checked the storage room for his things and there they were.

This also made it easier.

At the Southern entrance, the big man was going to “take what was his” and bring the Romi Jade Romi Jade Memorial to the Shadow Temple.

Yes, he built it here, for this facility, but he built it to remember her, and since her ideas sparked him to build the facility on Kashyykk to begin with. No, she was not being remembered, or even thought of here as some did not even know of the existence of his creation.

So he was taking it.

Not out of any type of hubris, or to punish anyone here. It was to remember a friend who was being forgotten.

Simple as that.

On the road again

Location: Jakku Jedi Enclave
Objective: Meditation
Tags: Open to interact but did not want to disturb anybody who had other plans

Katarine was in the meditation chamber located in the small enclave. After the fiasco on Canto Bright she had needed a little time to rest and figure out her next move. Her investigation into the escapees of Black Marsh Prison was long standing, but leads did not just come out of thin air. The serial killer she was tracking was in the wind and she would have to start from square one again. She was hopeful that she could connect with Connel and thank him for saving her tail with his phone call alerting the army team that rescued her. That would have to wait until both she and Connel had time together. His life as a shadow kept him busy and her investigative work kept her on the move as well. There wasn't always time to connect with friends. The young man had been on her mind a lot lately and that troubled her. She didn't want to go backwards with that particular endeavor or create strife between them again.

The truth was Katarine did not have many connections within this new era of Jedi so when she came back from a mission, especially one that had gone south, she didn't really have anybody to just connect with. She had a deep feeling that something was coming and that her lack of connections with others in the Jedi was going to be an issue. Something inside was pushing her to do more but she couldn't quit place it yet. It was just a feeling.

Her deep green eyes were closed in meditation. The tranquil room was softly lit and her breathing was even. As she extended her senses she felt another powerful presence in the building. In the supply closet? That was an odd place to find a Jedi Master....
