Form II: Makashi

Coruscant.

The Sith Apprentice headed towards the training room. He needed to learn new things if he was actually going to be taking down his Master. He had sworn to himself several years ago that he was going to when his Master had needlessly attacked him whilst he had been doing what he had been told.

The purpose of the attack had never been revealed to him, but his attack upon his Master would be soon enough.

That's why he was heading towards the Training Rooms. He was looking for a Master that was capable of teaching him the ways of the lightsaber. Specifically, Form II.

And so he walked in to see...

One Alexandra taking a nap, well not really, she was more so in deep meditation as she sat against the wall but to anyone who didn't look close enough they would assume she was sleeping as her aura was kept within her rather than around like normally when someone meditates. Her sabers remained on the ground infront of her and her face showed no emotion, her eyes closed of course and her hair down over her shoulders and even more weirdly she began to whistle a light, soft, and somewhat beautiful tune as she remained in meditation.

When the Sith Pureblood saw the woman simply sitting in the middle of the room, he wondered as to why she was there. There were rooms for meditation, the training room was certainly not the place for it. It was meant for combat.

Still, he walked into the room and stopped a few meters away from her and said, "are you okay?"

The whistling stopped and she looked once over him before giving him a slight bow and speaking. "How might i help you pureblood, i assume you are a student of Arcis or Ballen? Normally your race doesn't part from the others of it and i would be interested to know what 'honor' i get for meeting one on common and even ground, so to speak." She brought her hands together and under her chin, resting her head on her hands while she waited for the response that would come from the Sith Pureblood.

[OOC: Just going to go on as if she didn't say the pureblood stuff. :p]

When she asked him how she may help him, he said, "I wish to learn Form II. I admire the elegance of the form." He said, and folding his arms over his chest he waited for her response.

"Ok, first though, whats your name and i want you to tell me what exactly you think of me, you hold anything back and i dont train you, deal?" She waited attentively and patiently as she would let him either do as she asked or do what she expected him too, either way she had a lesson to teach him, it would just determine how fast she got to the actual training.... that and she loved to mess with students no matter who they were, hell if her own brother didn't escape her games a stranger definitely wouldn't.

[member="Malphas"]

He frowned at the requests but he answered them nonetheless.

"My name is Acarus." It wasn't a complete lie. His birth name was Malphas, but when he eventually became Knighted and claimed his Darth title, it would be Acarus. Malphas had been the boy who had been upon Tantorus, but Acarus was the Sith Acolyte who had left with the One Sith.

"I think nothing of you, I do not know you, simply that you're significantly more powerful than me. Also, that it is odd that you would meditate in a training room when there are other chambers for that." He said them honestly, he thought nothing else of the woman other than she was... Weird, but he had addressed that with his point of her meditating.

"Is that the only thing that you find odd in reference to me? Im curious what you are thinking my friend and there is no need to frown, we will get to your purpose for being here, but until then you will indulge me without the frowns please. Now as i was saying, is there nothing more that you find odd about me past where i meditate, and do you have any idea why i choose here to meditate? Reach out and ask yourself if it is so simple as you think." Her own aura would be subtle, but it would be an intricate web that spread out from him, a web of vines created by her focus on the area around her that Malphas stood on the edge of, the vines in the force reaching out to him and attempting to pierce into his own aura, linking her to him. "Discipline is the single most important thing, staying calm and collected, a clear and disciplined mind."

@Malphas

When her own metaphysical vines began to reach out to him, the Sith Apprentice did sense it, but he made no move to stop them. His own force aura was protected with it's own 'vines,' creating a shield when she tried to look into him. It was a natural thing, and when he actually put thought into it his mind and soul became unreadable. He was an incredibly secretive person, as was the reason he wore a cloak and helmet to conceal what he truly looked like.

He didn't even bother to reach out to her. "Do you feel the need to calm yourself before combat, or a training session?" He understood the need for it, but it was simply something that he didn't do.

"I am disciplined."

"Tsk Tsk, im the one asking the questions and you are the one that should be answering them my friend, after all, who is the one teaching who and who is the one looking for that knowledge." She smiled and stood very slowly, moving towards the man and looking over him cautiously as she brought herself nearer. "Now, do you have an answer for my questions or will i need to just believe you dont want to learn?" She wanted answers, just like the Sith did, though hers were something that were non negotiable.

[member="Malphas"]

"I did answer your question. You just didn't get the answer you wanted." The Sith Apprentice replied calmly. The supposed question that he had asked had been an answer. He had been simply asking if the answer was correct. It was clear she didn't understand that much.

"I don't even know you, I don't know how you expect me to find something weird about you." He was entirely unsure as to what sort of answer she wanted. Asking a complete stranger what they thought odd about her? The fact that she was asking a strange what they thought of her was odd, but that was quite obvious.

"So you seek knowledge from one you don't know and cant truly read, that i is the problem with the Sith, they assume and they are then beaten. You must never assume anything or simply just not know your enemy, you must study them before a fight, every time you see them. Study their muscles and the movements of their body, study their eyes for they are a window into the person, a way into them when the force fails you. Study their words to learn if they possess a silvered tongue or if they are a fool and study their clothes and weapons because even the simplest of weapons or robes an signify a master or warrior beyond measure. Deception is the weapon of those who wish for power, deception is the weapon of those who wish for revenge, and deception is the weapon for those who wish for it to hide their true selves. You are employing such now are you not..."

She walked near him and circled him now, studying what she could about about every single detail before speaking. "Grab a training saber, i will teach you now." She let her aura from free as the vines that had created a web moved over towards [member="Malphas"], trying to study the man even more intensely as she herself walked away from him and drew one of her sabers, turning on the high powered setting that would stop the blade from rending his flesh should she hit him, it would still hurt a hell of a lot though.

Walking towards the weapons rack, he drew a training lightsaber from it and then walked backwards his original positioning and stopped.

She may have continued trying to read him, but it seemed as if there was nothing to read. He continually protected himself on a subconscious level, most likely an effect of his early and temporary mentalist training on Tantorus so long ago.

Then he waited without saying another word.

Alexandra smiled and brought her lit saber up to her face and then in one quick motion to her side as she moved at first slowly until she started off a bit faster towards the Sith. When she did reach him i would be with a number of quick jabs that were aimed at his shoulders and legs at varying intervals, hoping to hit something as she did.

[member="Malphas"]

At least when she had come it was directly. It was easier to digest in that way.

The jabs that came at his shoulders were easier to block. His training lightsaber flashed around his upper area in what appeared to be an elevated middle guard. The ones that came lower were barely blocked since he had to twist his wrist downwards with a flick.

For his own attack the Apprentice stabbed at her head.

She turned her head only enough not to get hit straight in the forehead, though the blade slammed into the side of her head and knocked her off balance for a moment. She tried to blink but her left eye was blurry, something she couldn't fix in the middle of a duel. 'Its a good thing these aren't real...' She said in her mind before pulling both hands back and then pushing forward, blasting a solid wave of energy at the now close range adversary.

When the force energy hit him he was lifted off of the floor and he let it carry him backwards as he threw himself backwards and ended with a backwards dive and with a sudden hand pushing against the floor, he flipped back to his feet near the edge of the sparring ring.

"That's not going to teach me the Form."

She smiled and nodded to the Sith before spinning her blade in her hand and then holding it in the ready stance as she set her feet on the ground and let the grin grow wide. "Oh, how right you are, let us continue then." She moved forward and sent in a number of quick strikes followed by her jumping over the Sith with her blade in ready for defense against a counter move.

[member="Malphas"]

His eye twitched when he became irritated at her response, but he'd been too slow to stop the majority of the attacks and so while she had been in mid-air and descending, his hand had snapped out towards where he uncannily knew she'd land and released a force push.

If she was going to use the Force, so was he.

Her body flew and twisted as she herself landed, albeit a bit harder. "Oh, now whos not following the rules... ok then, you pass. Lets get down to actually teaching you." She seemed as if her mind couldn't stay focused on one thing, her sabers returned to their belt before walking over to him. "Makashi requires one to have patience, to move fluid like the wind and quick like a viper, you are neither right now and that was the point of my test, i had to see you for you were. Now with that said we can work with you yet, strike me on the neck." She stood there, within range and waiting.
