There had been a new face within the order, one who was already making waves after their actions on the warfront against the Galactic alliance... They had caught the attention of one, lady Keres. Some call this fortunate, most may consider it a curse, a bad omen perhaps?

Tonight there had been plans made to have this new face over for dinner, they had even been sent a formal invitation.

As the moon hung high above the grandiose academy made of darkened stone, its gates would receive their expected guest for the night.

The academy was a looming structure, the gates equally so. Their tops adorned with glass eyes that always seemed to follow you, the dead and withered trees surrounding the landscape littered with thousands of pairs of little ruby red eyes.

This place held a strong connection with death, the very land sickened and decayed. Allyson's blooming connection to the darkside felt empowered here, yet.. Something deep beneath this place was calling, worryingly hungering for your attention.

Hooded figures came to greet you, ushering you inside as the three of you climbed the black steps. As the main doors opened, one of the hooded servants helped show you past the students and undead patrolling.. The smell being.. Quite literally the stretch of death.

Suddenly your nose is hit with a much better array of smells, a lovely assortment of foods and expensive perfume. As the doors opened, your eyes got to see a whole banquet of goods just waiting to be clawed into. And a strange woman sitting at the two person table, her black smile showing off her pearly white fangs as her hand gestured for her guest to take a seat.

"Welcome my dear, I would hope your trip was too dreadfully boring yes?"

Adeline cackles a bit, sighing joyfully.

"Where are my manners? Lady Keres, or simply Adeline if you so prefer."

The name may have rung a bell, or maybe not. One thing that was for sure was that this woman's force presence felt Unnatural, sick in a way. Stitched together and twisted into some dreadful abomination that constantly reached out its claws, eager to feed.

An invitation that Allyson was already weary about seeing its location and a name she hadn't heard before. Still, curiosity always won over the Corellian. However, because of that curiosity, Allyson found herself standing outside the grand castle, which was terrifying. Gulping, Allyson did a quick mental scan, trying to figure out an escape route if she needed it. Unfortunately for the Jedi, hooded figures quickly ushered her through the academy without giving her a chance to map an escape route.

Sadness filled her as she suddenly felt like the damsel in distress in a horror film. Her feelings worsened when she was placed in front of the house mistress.

Allyson was seated at the table and faced the Mistress, the woman who had introduced herself as Darth Keres. "Allyson," She answered politely, letting the woman continue introducing herself. There had been faint whispers about the woman, files from battlefields, but most were considered hallucinations of the troops. Allyson adjusted, making herself a bit more comfortable in the seat despite the disturbing ripples of the Force emitting from her hostess.

"Adeline is a pretty name, I prefer names like that for beautiful women." Allyson grinned as her hands rested in her lap. The Corellian knew that she was the one in trouble if Keres or Adeline decided that the visit would become boring. As slippery as the Corellian was, something told her this woman wouldn't be fooled by the tricks of mortals.

Allyson mused as she kept her cheerful disposition, trying to hide the unsettling fear that made her twin hearts race. "My trip was uneventful, dreadful no, but uneventful, which is much better than chaotic." She continued to smile as Allyson kept her eyes locked on the woman before her. "How's the uh," gesturing around, "The whole Mistress of a castle thing treating you?"

For the first time, Allyson felt like prey, not the predator.

She raised a brow, nodding her head to the side for a moment.

"Well what a charming little thing you are! Honeyed words perhaps, but I will take them nonetheless!"

The vampiress chuckles, her fanged maw on display for a time before she sighs, amused so far by her guest.

"Uneventful I have no doubts about that.. My home lies far away from most hubs of life, with the closest being Jutrand of course. Even still, this place is outside of all known governed space.. In due time I wish to integrate with the Order so that my students may find more learning on the field of battle."

The woman gestures to the food upon the table before leaning in with a smile.

"You are a guest, here to enjoy dinner while we get to know one another... Relax my dear."

As much as she adored hearing that blood pump as Allyson's anxiety raised, she had no intent to give the poor thing a heart attack.

"Ah but of course! Your question.. Mmm.."

Adeline thinks for a moment, tapping a claw against the table.

"As much as most may enjoy the lavishness, the main things I enjoy are teaching my students. There are many who are unable to properly defend what and who they love in this life, many who know not the dangers of the unknown, and many more who do not have the will to endure the cruelty of existence."

She places a hand upon her chest.

"I take them and sharpen them, make sure they can be ready for almost anything. For I was once myself defenseless, and hoping that each day a hero may save me from the misery that encapsulated me. It was only later that I learned how foolish of a wish that was, and how important the strength of the self is. You my dear are new to this.. Used to fighting creatures such as myself yes, but still new to discovering the dark. You had been used, unable to shape your own destiny with your limited time. I would be lying if I said I wasn't interested in seeing how you adapt and learn this new life that you yourself chose to have."

Adeline starts to make her plate, there being a majority of raw meats placed upon the fancy dinner plate.

"And that my dear is what I prefer for a beautiful woman."

The vampiress smirks, saying her own playful response to the earlier comment on her appearance.

"You make quite the assumptions, Ms. Adaline." Allyson settled in, leaning back in her seat. The rapid beats of her hearts suddenly stopped, quieting into a calm, nearly silent pattern. The Corellian needed a minute to find her place in this dance. Hearing the drawn conclusions gave the Spy a chance to understand this meeting.

"It's wonderful that you've allowed people a chance to become something more than what they started and teach them to find the strength within themselves." She nodded and let her gaze examine the woman before her. She was the master of the house and could sense the woman's power, but Allyson wasn't someone fresh from the temple. "Yes, I've fought monsters such as yourself, but I've also faced my own kind and heretics that believe they can deny the Force. I've fought someone such as myself, I've killed, I've hunted, I've destroyed."

She smiled at the end of her words, "I'm just as much of a monster as you are, but I find myself a bit more dangerous. You, Ms. Adeline, wear the skin of a fiend - while I am the wolf in sheep's clothing." She didn't eat but continued to watch Adeline. The woman knew what she was, and hearing assumptions about herself was common. Jedi, Sith, and everything in between assumed what they knew about Allyson Locke, but no one knew her - she made sure of it.

Allyson tightened her lips as the final word left her mouth, knowing that she really should learn a filter. It was now that she remembered she had no idea of the layout of the academy and would be in trouble if she found her way out.

Again, she doubted her Force Cloak would save her from this.

Taking a bite out of her food she simply smiled while chewing, it was clear their words had so far continued to amuse the vampiress.

"Merely just my thoughts."

She says after swallowing her food.

"Tis only the way of things, why cast hate upon the wolf who is simply hungry?"

The woman shrugs.

"I must say you are a refreshing change, not some simple boot licker.. No no, you share some bold words indeed. It reminds me of when I lived another life many years ago, in the rambunctious taverns of the underworld. Forgive me if I may, but another assumption I will make is that you know all about the type of setting.. Along with the normal reactions to such words."

Adeline nods and smugly takes a sip of her drink, licking away the red stains around her black lips soon after.

"And while such nostalgia is indeed wonderful, I must say that I would advise against downplaying my ability... Tongues are a precious thing my dear, I would hate to see you lose it."

If there was one thing Adeline had without any doubt, it would be her pride as an apex hunter. To kill, hunt, and destroy as much as she has already and be considered less dangerous than a mortal? A bold choice of words to be sure, but nonetheless she wanted to enjoy the dinner.

"Denying the force.. Mm.. Now that sounds like a rather interesting goal. One I cannot really see the point of, care to share with me more on that?"
