To put it simply, Calico and his wife [member="Zandra Fenni"] are in need of work. They've had a force sensitive child, and babies are expensive. Hiding force sensitive babies, doubly so.

Cal was the Grand Marshal of the Confederacy, and a General in the OP, along with a leader of a Mando clan for a time. He is Force Dead, and as such, excels at eliminating Force Using targets.

Zandra is an accomplished pirate who led a rather large crew for quite some time.

They're both willing to help any faction or private group for the right amount of credits. Dominions, invasions, creepy bar threads, we're game for anything so long as it develops story.

Basically, I am the same sort of paramilitary as the OP, only smaller, and more hidden. Cross is also the head of the Shadow Empire's ONI, if that means anything anymore...

The only other thing is that we're more piratey than the OP. That's literally my whole pitch.

There are six worlds in the Protectorate with a AAA-rating. Corellia, Naboo, Eriadu, Bespin, and Fondor. Doesn't get any more defended that those worlds.
