[SIZE=11pt]Accessibility: The Fortress can be accessed via a landing platform on the outside, a hanger within the interior, and a series of tunnels on the dark obsidian cliffs below, leads through the Catacombs towards the insides of the Castle. It is often heavily guarded and restricted from public access outside the Dark Siders of the Crimson Hand, and First Imperials authorized to be there. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Description: What lies on the Gahenn Plains of Mustafar, across the barren lava fields spewing ash and poisonous gases atop a dark cliff sits a tower made of Obsidian, a river of lava flows through it with the tower with the top of the tower splitting into two conduit tuning towers, for what though the purpose remains unknown at first glance and is an intimidating structure at first sight. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Nexus Effects: The power of the Dark Side is strong from within and from without Fortress Vader, built atop the site of an Ancient Sith Temple, and connected to a Sith Cave the base of it is filled with a dark side locus from the thousands of years of Dark Side energy, and the own aura further crafted by Lord Momin then Lord Vader. When a Dark Sider is within the very vicinity, they feel a sense of fear, turning into feelings of anger, rage, despair, becoming empowered by the dark side energies, it is said that one was powerful enough with the dark side, they could attempt to focus their energy and that of the locus, what would happen in such an event remains a mystery. [SIZE=11pt]When a Light Sider or a newly awakened Force User steps inside the Castle, they feel a rush of cold air, emotions may seem to appear, rage, fear, hate. Unlike the empowering feeling it offers to those that have embraced the Dark Side, it slowly corrupts the user, often assaulted with images of Vader himself, or see the shadow of a dark silhouette in the shape of his armor, or hear the breathing of the dark lord. After an extended period of time, if it does not drive the Force User insane, it would corrupt them to the dark side. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]To a non Force User, they may not feel anything at all at first, but would feel the sense of dread and eeriness that was all throughout the Castle. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Points of Interest:[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Training Room: Once the site to train Inquisitors that Vader had commanded it is now refitted to train Dark Siders of the Hand, fitted with Sith Training Droids, a dark cell to which one would remain in deep isolation, deprived of food and water and left in the dark as a form of meditation. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Barracks: Recently added during the takeover by the First Order, able to house an Imperial Garrison and is able to fully defend the fortress[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Sith Cave: The Sith Cave located within the Castle, it is surrounded by various markings all across the room, four obsidian tables mark around the room allowing for [/SIZE][SIZE=11pt]ritual[/SIZE][SIZE=11pt] to take place, or one could channel the dark side energies to use for themselves, or against their enemies. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Tomb of Darth [/SIZE][SIZE=11pt]Thaxsis[/SIZE][SIZE=11pt]: Located within the catacombs of Fortress Vader, a tomb sealed off for thousands of years lies underground, covered in Sith markings and statues, the sarcophagus has been cracked due to the First Order’s arrival to Fortress Vader. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Meditation Chamber: The meditation chamber is a rather simple room, but one could feel a dark and eerie presence going in, seeing simply a Bacta Tank in the middle of the room, where Vader found what little peace he could within the healing waters, often meditating in the dark side, and found even more when sitting in the middle room, overlooking a [/SIZE][SIZE=11pt]transparasteel[/SIZE][SIZE=11pt] window that showed the place where Vader was born. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Hanger: The Hanger is where several fighters could be stored, and even larger vessels the size of a corvette can fit inside of it. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Detention Level: It is not without saying that Fortress Vader was known where Jedi come to die. Vader would often find survivors of Order 66 bringing such to hide in the dark cells, [/SIZE][SIZE=11pt]along[/SIZE][SIZE=11pt] an obsidian corridor, the only light gained is from the illumination of ray shields from the cell, some could describe feeling a sense of dread when entering the corridor. Next to the cells is an interrogation room, where it is often guarded by one trooper, a table sits in the table, restraints for the arms and legs. Around the room is many devices to use for torture and interrogation, with an observer window above for those that wish to view such interrogations. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Sith Archives: The Sith Archives is [/SIZE][SIZE=11pt]library[/SIZE][SIZE=11pt] of ancient knowledge, that is said to have been accumulated by Lord Vader to further his own studies into the dark side, ranging from Ancient Sith texts to Sith Holocrons, where it is now preserved for all those who wish to use such knowledge to good use. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Dormitories: This level is a group of quarters for what was the Inquisitors that resided within the Fortress, and later for the Knights of Ren. Now it is for the Dark Siders of the Hand be it Sith or Ren. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Catacombs: Underneath the Fortress lies a network of tunnels, some of which shows the ruins of the Sith Temple that originally resided in the place of the Fortress. It is connected all over the Castle into a series of hidden passages throughout the Castle[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Outer Chambers: The Outer Chambers is a room that is upon entering the Fortress, with a platform in between the entrance and into the depths of the rest of the Castle, the room underneath is surrounded by the Lava river flowing through the catacombs and the Fortress itself. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Vaders Quarters: The personal Quarters of Darth Vader, house another Meditation Chamber, in a similar style to one found in Bast Castle, since it’s become the room for Kyrel Ren, often found studying the various artifacts inside and what records he could find. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]Before the foundation of Fortress Vader, Mustafar was once under the rule of Darth Thaxsis sometime prior to the Sith’s defeat 1000 years before the Battle of Yavin, the Sith Lord had the temple be a last stand from Jedi Adversaries, knowing that triumph was upon him, in that moment the Sith Lord was betrayed by his own, and his remains locked within a tomb deep within the catacombs that was underneath the Temple. The area remained silent but Thaxsis’s spirit remained restless. Trapped in a sleep who could not get out of so easily, and so Mustafar was quiet for a Millenium. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Mustafar was once the focus of the Sith once more in 19 BBY with the Ascension of Darth Sidious as Emperor of the newly formed Galactic Empire, he had sent his Apprentice, Darth Vader on a mission to build a new lightsaber. Vader had come to Mustafar, the birthplace of his defeat at the hands of Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. Vader had been given instructions by Sidious to enter a Sith Cave, Crystal in hand he focused on his internal emotions, and the energies of the dark side to fully corrupt the Kyber Crystal, and forge his new lightsaber. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]He returned to Mustafar in between 18 BBY and 5 BBY. Claiming the world as a reward from his Master, guided by the mask of the Sith Lord Momin who retained his consciousness through the mask itself. With the help of Imperial Architects and resources. Vader and Momin went through eight different designs with Momin promising to bring back Vader’s dead wife by using the dark side locus and focusing it through the Fortress to tear open a rift into the Dark Side itself. With the ninth design being perfect with a dark obsidian tower splitting into two conduits perfect enough to hone the dark side. Vader and Momin was pleased with the work that had been done. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]When the native Mustafarians had attacked the Fortress, Momin took the opportunity to reveal his intentions, opening the rift into the Dark Side, bringing his body back. Placing his helmet onto his new body, the resurrection was complete. Vader had led Imperial Troops against the natives engaging them in battle, even as the natives outnumbered them. Vader retreated back to his Fortress, using the power of the dark side focused with the Castle to use the lava surroundings to wipe out both his forces and the natives. Engaging Momin in a duel after, where the older Sith mocked Vader and Sidious for being Jedi obsessed weaklings. Even with dispatching Vader’s weapon arm. The Sith was no match for Vader, who crushed him with the Stone pillars used for the conduit. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Vader thus opened a portal into the Dark Side. He saw visions of past, present, and his future. Hearing voices that he could not recognize and slaying old enemies. He finally reached what seemed to be the spirit of his wife, transforming himself back into Anakin momentarily only for the spirit of his wife to kill herself, and finding himself caught in bright blue vision of light before snapping out of it. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]During it’s time under Vader it was host to Rebel infiltrations, and further attacks by Mustafarian natives, all of which proved unsuccessful before the year of 0 BBY where Director Orson Krennic met with Vader who was concerned about events surrounding the Death Star. Vader was later seen in 1 ABY within the sanctum speaking with Admiral Kendall Ozzel and General Maximilian Veers, discussing the matter of dealing with the wide scale Rebellion. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Following Vader’s Redemption and death in 4 ABY, The Fortress remained silent for centuries until the year 850 ABY. The Galactic Alliance had secured Mustafar, with the New Jedi Order guarding the dark fortress. During that time a state of War broke out between the First Order, Successors to the Empire of old and the Alliance, with Mustafar being where the First Order struck back against the Alliance for the losses they had suffered at Kaeshana. The Knights of Ren were sent in to assault the Fortress, with one Ren known as Kyrel Ren obsessed with Vader’s Legacy and created as if a continuation of the Cybernetic Dark Lord. He had been drawn by the spirit of the Dark Lord in hopes of gaining something he had sought, however, he was tricked, and was attacked by Sith Training Droids, and opposing forces such as Jedi and Firemane respectively. Before eventually coming into contact with the Sith Spirit who had been awakened because of the conflict. Informing him, that he wanted the Ren’s body to use on all of his enemies. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]With agreeing to Thaxsis’s terms, he used the Dark Side locus to his advantage, turning the enemies back, before going back and aiding the rest of the Knights of Ren as they battled against the Jedi Knights. Before driving them out of the Fortress, and claiming it for the First Order, Kyrel later returned to confront Thaxsis, undergoing mental trials of the spirit and willpower. Before ultimately defeating the Sith Spirit and absorbing him into his own body, following of which he claimed Vader’s Armor and started to renovate the Castle, for the course of several years it served as Ren’s personal retreat where he studied the dark side, and held captive enemies. [SIZE=11pt]Following the collapse of the First Order in 856 ABY, survivors led by Kyrel Ren would settle on Mustafar, with the Fortress hoping to be a new home for the Dark Siders that would serve one of the more Theocratic and Militant faction known as the Crimson Hand. One of the surviving Remnants of the First Order that had survived the onslaught and the sacking of Dosuun at the hands of the SSi-Ruuvi Imperium. [/SIZE]
