Fortuna Lecit was a gift given to Sorr's Father by Zash Elee: One of the major investors in Kuat Drive Yards. Zash who was a former law enforcement officer on Coruscant wanted to leave Sorr's Father a token of his gratitude for saving his life during the Battle of Coruscant in the Omega Wars. Since then, Fortuna Lecit has been Sorr's Father's main weapon undergoing many internal and superficial changes to suit his needs. As a child, Sorr Kortu was fascinated by the weapon and his father would allow him to fire it in the shooting range when he was old enough. On his 18th Birthday, Sorr's father gifted Sorr with Fortuna Lecit impressed by his marksmanship. When Sorr ran away to pursue a career in smuggling, he often thought of how for the first time in his life, he made his father proud and it was through the blaster pistol that was gifted to him.
