• Pressurised - As a fabric suit, it is quite a boon to have it be pressurised. The wearer can survive for a long time in the vacuum of space with this suit and its integrated life-support system.
  
  
• Resistance - Though only fabric, the Flight Suit does provide some key resistances, including some immediate resistance against lightsabers as an armourweave suit. One strike won't go through immediately, giving the wearer a chance to get away.
  
  
• What is weight? - As the Suit was designed with specifically Starfighter Pilots in mind, this raiment is light as a feather to minimise the weight within the Fighter. But even if on the ground, the Suit does not weigh down the wearer, enabling them to move fast should they end up behind enemy lines.

• Not armour - For all its perks, the Flight Suit is still just a suit and not armour. It is not designed to be in a full scale terrestrial battle or to even withstand laser fire from an enemy Fighter should the bolts go through the shields.
  
  
• External Life-Support - The Life-Support System's motor remains on the outside of the Suit, making it possible for the System to be compromised in an engagement or even accidentally.
  
  
• No resistance - Though it has some conventional resistances, targeted and prolonged attacks with Lightsaber or just immediate attacks with Acid or the Force will leave the wearer completely undefended.

Continuing to provide the Foundation with standard gear, Doreva Industries has released the Foundation Flight Suit as standard uniform for its Starfighter Corps or other pilots.

As a rather modular Flight Suit, it was designed to have interchangeable helmets as well as basic resistances along with being pressurised and able to keep its wearer alive for a prolonged time.

Though not greatly resistant against the Force or other chemicals, it does provide protection against the elements and blasters among others and can even hold its own against a lightsaber for a small while.

For a standard standard Flight Suit, it is quite effective.
