Hope is Kindled
The rain had kept most of the Jedi inside the complex today. The Jedi Master woke up around seven in the morning to find the sky darkened and a roll of thunder could be heard in the distance. It didn't take him that long to get ready for the day. While his time wasn't spent going about his daily duties as a Jedi Master in the order Kahne took it upon himself on days like these to train. On his way towards the training room he had noted that there were several Jedi who were just staring out the windows and having small discussions. Kahne ended up stopping for a brief moment as he too stared out the window and couldn't help but smile.
It was always nice to stop and just watch the rain fall, especially when you were among friends and such. Several years ago the Jedi's training on his free time ended up outside most of the time. Even in the rain, it was quite exhilarating to be honest. The flash of lightning and the strike of thunder that rolled through the land. However it wouldn't have been as exhilarating should one have been struck by lightning.
Kahne had been lucky in that aspect though.
The Jedi had been dressed rather casually, more training attire than robes or anything of that sort. He had opted to stay away from that portion of the dress code for a while now.
The Jedi Master reached for his lightsaber, or well wasn't quite his anymore as he was now using a replacement for the time being. The small practice droid came to life, hovering a few feet away from him, and would begin firing stun bolts towards him as his deflected them while his eyes were closed. Slowly at first, but then the droid's speed would pick up. This was more so to help with his focus and his reliance on that his eyes could betray him, as was the standard speech to every Jedi.
Soon, more Jedi would enter the grounds, and perhaps something more challenging would come along.
