WEIGHT: 280 pounds (127 kilograms)

HAIR: Brown Hair

STRENGTHS:
Good Gunslinger - Frank has been around the block a time or two. In his time he's seen more than his fair share of gunfights, shootouts, and even a few pitched battles he was in on. He's fired everything from holdout blasters to vehicle mounted heavy repeating blasters. And while he's not the absolute best at it, he's good enough to get himself through most situations.
Good in a barfight - Hamish has also been in his fair share of fist fights, and while not specifically trained in melee combat he's got heart where it counts. And where it doesn't. So while 'ole Hamish isn't someone who's the most dangerous man in knife fight, he's not someone you discount either. Mainly because he's quite large and quite strong, and regardless of how tough you think you are haymakers still hurt like sin. That's not even discounting how tough he is.
Certified Pilot - So when Frank was a young 'un, he flew as a gunship pilot in the Confederacy Armed Forces and then later on became a Marshal for a planetary police force. So he's been around a bit and flew a lot of different types of craft. So while he's not the best pilot around, he is certified through military flight school and has experience flying most types of craft. And honestly he's probably crazy enough to try to fly whatever it is that needs flying.
WEAKNESSES:
Certified Heart Replacement - Hamish has a few implants in his body from all the damage and drugs he's done in the past to himself. This includes a heart replacement, pacemaker for the heart, spinal reinforcements, both knees replaced and a hearing implant in his left ear for his hearing damage. To put it bluntly he's been through a bit. Every morning when he wakes up it's a struggle to get out of bed because of all the aches and pains in his body.
Compulsive Gambler with many vices - Frank should have a massive pile of credits from all the jobs he's pulled and from all the work he's done. Except he doesn't. And there's a reason for that. He's a compulsive gambler, just lives for it and is terrible at it when it comes to cards, dice, or any other kind of normal gambling. That and he's on a fuck ton of medication that he also abuses. Both legal and not. And he loves drinking and smoking, and everything else that most people consider wasteful vices. So that's why Frank hasn't retired yet, that and for some reason he hasn't died.
Constantly "Medicated" - So if you look to the first weakness you'll see that Frank is more or less in constant considerable amounts of pain due to all of the stupid stuff he's done over the years. To deal with this he's constantly taking a mix of medication, alcohol, stims or other types of drugs to deal with said issues. Which means a lot of the time that he's somewhat intoxicated, ranging from plastered to slightly inebriated.
APPEARANCE:
Frank stands as a pretty tall and beefy dude. And while he's put on some weight over the years, he still looks like someone who if you crossed him in a bar he could throw you out through the bullet proof windows. His hair is a mess, his face unshaven and he essentially looks like he should have died years ago from all of the stupid he's done. Frank also has a lot of surgical scars across his body from various treatments and injuries he's sustained, alongside his just general grouchy appearance. He wears whatever cheap clothes he can find, mainly using flowery cheap button up shirts with tank tops and whatever pants he can get his hands on. He also wears a pretty trashy overcoat with scarf if he's outside of his armor.
His armor is another matter, which is as heavy as he is figuratively. It's barely kept together modified version of TDW Gen-3 Combat Armor. One of his only wins as he saved several members of TDW in a gamble with a ship he'd "borrowed" at the time when he was still a marshal. This armor is however anything but standard, as the plates have been swapped from the more expensive to produce and repair Phrik-A for a simpler and much cheaper Duraplast-E coated durasteel plating. On top of this, he's swapped the helmet out with something more fitting, using a polarized transparisteel plate that's much thicker to offer better visibility. On closer inspection you'll see a lot of poc marks and dents in the armor from all the fighting its been through. He keeps it clean-ish though, mainly because he doesn't want to get another skin infection or the dreaded crotch itch that comes with not doing required maintenance on armor.
BIOGRAPHY:
Frank's story begins as just out of primary school he was passed over for scholarship into secondary school and so he joined the CAF. Going through schooling to be a pilot, he would become a gunship pilot in Dauntless flying through various hell holes for roughly seven years. And while he wasn't good, he was certainly crazy enough to survive all of the scrapes he got into. It was here that Frank would discover one of his first loves outside of the military, gambling and booze in that order. Mainly because he flew in Dauntless for the thrills and nothing quite got him going like playing cards or the roulette tables even if he was absolutely terrible at it. Which was why when he got out of the military and should have been able to retire to something quieter, he was three things. Broke as a chump, hungover, and looking for that next rush.
Next in line for Hamish was joining a Marshal service, becoming a bonafide law man for a few sectors as he continued making his way around. It would be here that he would find his skills as a fighter, and a gunslinger had emerged. Before Frank would get into bar fights for fun in the military, something to pass the time and otherwise get a short cheap thrill. Here Frank would also start using more legal and not drugs, stims, and start doing more wild and crazy stunts. He once rammed a drug runner's vessel with his own ship to get them to crash land, got into a fire fight with an entire cartel, and otherwise just do absolutely whatever it took to bring his targets in. He would receive a lot of injuries over this period of time, a lot of his implants and new medications coming from him doing otherwise stupid stuff and getting hurt in the process.
Finally though Frank would get canned from his job with the Marshals due to him being caught actually taking some of the spice off the top from confiscated hauls. And multiple reports of him unnecessarily roughing up people that he was bringing in. Or that he was sending death threats to people he knew were guilty but couldn't do anything about. He would get jaded and start hating the rest of the people that he saw, especially corrupt cops. This would come to a head as he now had addictions to satisfy, debts to pay, and had to somehow take care of himself with only his armor, his ship, and the few guns he had. So he took up bounty hunting, and as an old school man in a new age world he might be behind on the times for how people do things now.
But that don't mean he's any less capable, nor that he's not willing to take the toughest jobs that pay the best.
