Dunames Lopez
Megalomaniac CEO of Star Tours
Name: Frank Mallidan, alias 98-3-FM
Loyalties: First Order
Role: He is a stormtrooper that was promised the management of a captured beach resort, pending conditions
Development Threads: First Order of Business
Age: 27
Species: Human
Force Sensitivity: No
Appearance: Because of health issues contracted in combat, he never takes off his helmet except in the tightly-controlled and sterile confines of medical facilities. When his helmet is removed, however, battle scars abound and he is bald, short of breath
Personality: He seems a little obsessed about Lanteeb, and not the least because he got sick on Lanteeb. Fiercely loyal to the First Order, he often seems to be pretty annoying about all things First Order-related, and will attempt to derail any debate regarding First Order external relations with false logic, although he is not as annoying about the First Order than he could be about Lanteeb. He tends to become paranoid from the very moment he hears the word "Resistance".
Weapon of Choice: F-11D blaster rifle
Wealth: He possesses a 49% stake in the Seventh Heaven beach resort on Lanteeb by virtue of being the sole survivor of a successful attack on the resort: Star Tours possesses the remaining 51%
Combat Function: 98-3-FM would be a fairly good shooter, but he cannot use thermal detonators. He was trained to be an ordinary line infantry stormtrooper, so he cannot use megablasters or flamethrowers, although he could use slugthrowers in a pinch. He had very little skill in using riot control batons.
Skills: First aid (but not able to provide medical care beyond rudimentary first aid), survival skills, but otherwise no more skilled than another run-of-the-mill stormtrooper
Notable Possessions: A suit of stormtrooper armor, a SE-44C blaster pistol
Other Notes: As with most stormtroopers, he was taken at an early age from his family on Virgillia 7 (said family was impoverished) for intensive combat training. He was part of the infantry for as long as he could remember about active duty. He has seen his share of combat and was deployed on multiple frontline assignments for the First Order.
However, his last combat deployment on Lanteeb would change his life forever. In a firefight against Resistance fighters, he got shot in the throat but managed to survive. For this reason he can only be fed liquids. Emergency surgery saved his life but at the cost of not being able to remove his helmet other than for medical treatment, and was deployed one last time to take out a nest of the Resistance in a beach resort.
Even though his last mission was a success, it came at a steep cost: he was the only First Order survivor. Because he was afterward deemed unfit for frontline duty, he was offered to run the beach resort he captured in his last mission as a frontline stormtrooper, with the cost of retraining paid for by the First Order, provided Lanteeb remains First Order property by the time his retraining is complete. Since that day, he was relegated to patrol duty as a sergeant on Bespin, which he serves at night while studying hospitality management during daytime.
Intent: To provide a battle-scarred veteran with a future off the battlefield
