Tatooine
Spaceport

-----------------------------------------
A faint wind swept the streets of Tatooine's backwater. The pace wasn't even named on a map as of recently. It was a small mining outpost with a tightly packed center of mud huts, carts and thatch roofs to keep all manner of folks from the searing rays of Tatooine's sun. It was here Jada been drawn to, through a mystical tug behind her gut. She stood outside her own Jast 1 Freighter, hands on both hips, adorned in her black vest and spacers trousers.

The hull had pits, dents and carbon scoring from over a dozen firefights. While she was not particularly well armed on this ship, she was fast and most times she'd had to take a shot or two whilst bailing out.

The whirring of servos of repair and Pit Droids milling about cut over the strange alien languages and guttural sounds of the street. She knew she was gonna need credits, and besides, a little good will in the verse goes a long way. She put up a sign that read

Gwynne scanned the area, making note of the chattering species that gave passing glances towards the mask that adorned his face. Within his grasp he held a damaged stabilizer coil. Despite his Jedi mindset, the sun’s scorching heat was quickly overtaking him with exhaustion. He wasn’t yet used to the deserty sands of tattooine. Tarno had spent most of his time frequenting coruscant and its surrounding planets for small excursions.

Unbeknownst to the order, Gwynne hitched a ride with a small band of smugglers to the sand-ridden planet. He was looking for information, and to find it- he needed someone who knew their ships. After some time of trudging, the spaceport came into focus and within minutes, a sign caught his attention.

She felt eyes on the back of her head and her hairs stood up, alerting her she was no longer alone. Jada put down the sponge and scraper and turned with a cocked head. She regarded what appeared to be a young female force user. There was no darkness about this one. Her eyes flicked from the lightsaber to the coil and then she grinned.

"What brings ya out here?"

She pointed to the coil with a gloved hand.

"Got a ship needs some wok or just need some advice about that piece?"

Gwynne smiled softly, and with a light bow, he took a breath. “I was hoping you could tell me what type of ship this originated from.” He said, his quiet Irish accent adding a playful charm to his calm demeanor. “I’m tight on credits, but I’ll give you what I can, I promise.” Gwynne’s eyes peered at the coil with a hint of sadness.

He held the coil out to the woman and flashed his signature smile once more.

Jada shot him a wink and stepped closer, retrieving the piece from him to study a bit. She turned it over in her hands, looking for symbols, noting the patina and the angular dimensions of the coil.

"Well I'm not an expert on stabilizer coils. Hyperdrives and engines are more my thing but it's safe to say this a Nubian Design. My guess is it was made somewhere for a Naboo N1-Starfighter, Luxury Yacht or a custom piece made by an old employee."

She handed it back and met his gaze.

"Are you suck without it? I can find a decent parts shop round here if ya need. I been hanging round these parts long enough to know all manner of folks in this area."

His eyes lit up with a tinge of excitement, “Oh- no- I- you could say I’m looking for a fellow force user of interest.” Gwynne peeked over the woman’s shoulder, observing the dents on the freighter. He cleared his throat and flicked his eyes back to hers, “You seem to get around.” He reached to his waist and pulled out a fair amount of credit chips. “The last location is marked to be here, on Tatooine.”
Gwynne hesitated for a moment, then handed her the credits. “I don’t know these lands all that well, I could use a guide- if you have one in mind, I’d be very grateful.” He bowed his head with courtesy.

Jada accepted the credits with grace and a small bow.

"I do indeed get around, been in a few sticky spots lately so figured it was best to rest up, patch up and lay low."

So he was looking for a force user? Maybe the force had crossed their paths intentionally. Jada never really picked where she was going, but let the universe guide her in her own way. Call it luck, call it the force either way she really got around.

"I can help ya on your travels as a guide. Got any location or clues on the where? You mentioned looking for someone."

Gwynne pondered for a moment, a wary expression covering his face. "I would indeed be grateful for your guidance, but understand if we do happen to find anything, you are to retreat from me immediately." He gave another glance to the stabilizer coil and huffed. "Do you know of any Jedi ruins or temples on this planet?"

Jada nodded.

"I only know of one such place this far out. It's an old cave network guarded by Tuskens. Heard them call it the Sun Temple or something of the sort. Not really sure what they get up religiously speaking. Rumor is there was a Jrayt Dragon holed up there a lil while ago but ain't no one that ventured in come back out. I can take you there if ya like."

She shot him a raised eyebrow.

"Are you onto a treasure hunt?"
