SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Fairly robust entry into the blaster market with good size, large magazine and high rates of fire on the blaster market. This makes this the perfect suppression weapon system allowing for operators to lay down good bases of fire to suppress and pin the enemy.
  • Addition of picatinny rail system allows for minor customization with additional basic commodities like grips, bipods, lasers, and optics. This allows for each shooter to make adjustments to make this weapon work for them.
  • Each round is a bit overcharged compared to standard blaster rifle shots. This makes the rounds able to reach further, hit harder and even punch through some lighter armors and cover. This combined with its ability to suppress enemies makes this weapon that much more threatening and gives the enemy more reasons to keep their heads down.
STRENGTHS
  • Solid heavy weapon: This weapon system checks most of the boxes when looking at squad based heavy weapons. High rates of fire? Check. Large magazine? Check. Good range and accuracy? Check. Hits pretty hard? Check. All in all this weapon is great for shooters to emplace in a solid bit of cover, and then rain down suppressing fire on the enemy to keep them pinned in the ground.
  • Low maintenance: The robust construction of this weapon means that so long as you don't shoot all 10,000 rounds at once from the magazine, you'll find it pretty hard to actually break this weapon. Just make sure that you don't actively try to break the weapon, or use it to try and block a lightsaber and you should be fine.
WEAKNESSES
  • It's a heavy weapon: So this thing is pretty heavy with pretty substantial recoil. So you're not using it in close quarters combat. At all. Because clearing rooms or even just buildings with this would be extremely difficult. That being said you could technically clear the building like a machine gunner and just hose down every square inch of the building and most things on the inside should be dead. Not as precise or safe for people you're trying to save but it would work.
  • Pain to reload: This weapon system also takes a bit to reload as in order to reload it, you not only have to disconnect the power supply from the weapon system, but then also remove the charge pack from the weapon. This makes these extra steps, alongside the bulk of the charge packs more difficult to swap out than standard blaster power packs.
DESCRIPTION
The very first of its kind, Freebirds Industries has made a foray into Blaster Technology with the Blaster Repeater model 1. This weapon has been modeled after most Heavy Repeating Blasters and at first, FI had the decision to make whether to make a weapon that was lighter and kept the same firepower, or rework the most current weapons to make something even stronger. As seen by this product, they decided to do the latter, making a weapon system that fit within the current confines of man portable repeaters, and making it have a larger magazine, shoot harder hitting bolts, and increase the overall accuracy at range with the weapon. This would be an overall improvement in weapon performance meant for the lowest operating level in any army, making Automatic Weapon Operators able to put out better and more accurate fires on the enemy.

Due to a review noting that the factory template for said weapons can be considered to give an advantage over standardized weapons I have started an internal review and identified subs that match the criteria for Archival until they are redone to meet Factory Standards.
