Description: Constructed and produced by Archangel Research and Design with a similar design to their Pax Frigate model, the Freedom class corvette is the Droid Design companies next product to enter the galactic marketplace field. Meant to be a supporting craft to the larger Pax Frigates, the Freedom Corvettes share many of the design intentions and features. This includes a droid brain that can control the ship and cut down immensely on crewing, sparing many organic lives should the ships ever be destroyed in the line of duty. Boasting an added shield generator layered over the first to enable it to last longer in exchanges, and with a thicker and more compact hull for its small size compared to its big sister design, the Freedom Corvette gladly engages with larger enemy vessels with its heavy turbolasers and array of missile launchers in closed combat. Taking the attention of enemy vessels lest they take the brunt of their fire by dismissing the threat from the corvettes, the Freedom aims to fill its role of keeping pirates and invaders from restricting the Freedom of travel of safety for the people who choose to add these ships to their line ups.
