Freeze tank

I am contemplating submitting a tech entry for a carbonite based support tank. Basically it works like a Flamer tank but instead of a flame thrower, it fires of carbonite rounds.

The use is two fold: Capture of enemy assets and troops while avoiding the damage caused by flames or explosions.

I am considering giving it armor class of 7 with bonuses against flame and heat based weaponry.

I just need a good idea for weight and manufacturer.

Shooting a Carbonite round would be like firing a shell that has no explosion. If you make a Carbonite gas thrower tank, it wouldn't work out too hot I don't think. Because its carbon mixed with gas, compressed and then flash frozen. The flash freeze process would make it impossible to turn into a weapon.

It's short lived, and technically isn't true carbonite. True carbonite wouldn't thaw like that rifle allows people to do after what I imagine is like thirty seconds or something - it also isn't a liquid. It also seems to have been quite rare and given the 400 year darkness, I wouldn't be surprised if something like that got lost for a bit.

Either way, despite what you're thinking, it likely won't work (and don't bring up that war droid, either. That was from Force Unleashed and those games blew); At least against vehicles. I think you're worrying too much about tech.
