pre-emptive q&a section:
"why do you specify jedi knight? what if a jedi master asks" because frankly i think anybody that's actually worth the rank of jedi master probably knows what they're doing too well and won't be nearly as funny to drop in with this guy
"do they have to be NJO or can they be a jedi of another group" as long as things are still friendly, last i know of none of the actual-jedi have really broken communion with each other so i don't think this boy's soul would be imperiled by training with a jedi from the patriarchate of jakku even though he's under the jurisdiction of the holy see of coruscant
"do you want them to already know each other or, like, just be meeting each other" i thought that bit of "wait, what? you're my padawan? that can't be right" in TCW was hilarious and also think it would be funny to have them first meet each other in the middle of some larger thread becausei love derailing things and getting negative attention for it it's a good bit, if you think your jedi knight is the type that looked at a list and just went "uh, uh...the force tells me that one" and pointed at a random name and that's how you ended up with a padawan you're probably the perfect fit
"are you looking for something serious or just to joke around" sir/ma'am/goodfellow this is a star wars rp you gotta be able to have both
