It had been done, her body needing some much needed rest after the battle above. Who had won? It didn't matter right now, what mattered was just finding a nice place to relax.

She grimaces as she practically slid down onto the cold floor, using the wall as support. Fighting was done, and as such she could allow herself to just feel. The current feeling being horrid pain as even her back was shattered, a wonder the occultist could even walk as far as she did..

Everything will be fine, she can pull through.. Always did.. Just need to close your eyes and drift into a slumber for a bit.

Almost drifting into a deep sleep, the vampire was swiftly awoken by the sounds of small boots.

Deep in her blackened heart she prayed it was not what she thought it could be, not him... Don't let it be so. To be dragged back into such an abyss, there was no worse of a fate.

What she saw instead triggered such a wave of confusion that it froze her in place, akin to a statue.

A little girl, skin blue, eyes red.

She seemed so familiar, was it..? Yes.. It was.

The sight of this child wandering around made Adeline frown, unamused by this trick.

"What manner of devilry is this? Am I not haunted enough? Pestered and hunted by your brood, now you try and trick me with this?"

The end of her words spiked with anger, gazing at her past self with eyes glazed with apathy.

Seeing herself from such a long time ago, her eyes started to water as the chiss child explored archives with a sense of childish wonder. Oohing and awing at what all she could find.

"Is this where heros are?"

Adeline said nothing in response to the image of her past self, tears starting to gently escape down her cheeks.

"Are you ok?"

The child asks, approaching Adeline. She couldn't bear to answer such a question, what did it look like? Such a stupid question, did she look ok? It was just so- so childish to ask...

"No."

The occultist gets out, a stressed expression adorning her face.

"Do we need-"

"Never again."

She cuts the child off mid sentence, not out of malice, but of truth.

"Ya called?"

Now appeared the old Jackal, the crimson clad gal eyeing up Adeline.

"I thought my contract was all done and dusted? What's the grim face for huh? Jokes aside I- Well... The first problem I am seeing here is you being all alone, why?"

Adeline sighs.

"I don't need to bother with others, it is a waste of time."

"The thing ya got plenty of?"

The woman squints at the other version of her old self.

"Eyy? See I got ya there! I had friends, maybe you just need to learn how to put some life into yourself."

This was no trick, but her... Interesting mind making the woman seem like she was talking to herself, when in reality her mind was indeed shared in a sense.

Her self thoughts were put on hold however, as her senses detected a noise.

For now she sat, leaned against the bloodied wall... Watching to see what, or who, lurked.

General of the Hutt Army, Director of Slaving
Kirill and his BX-103 assault and Protocol droid were wandering the planets surface looking for shelter. They just left their ship because it was being repaired from the fighting above. Kirill was not part of the fighting but ended up in the thick of it when he came out of hyperspace while traveling back to Tatooine. He noticed a planet nearby and needed to restock his private yacht with more supplies and fuel. To his dismay his droid pilot came out right next to a vicious ship to ship attack striking his own ship and causing them to do an emergency landing. The repairs will only take a couple of days but he needed the battle to be over to leave again and make it through their lines of defense. Not knowing which side was who he stayed out of it and hid his ship on the surface in a valley near where they were walking.

"Do you see any life forms nearby 103?" Kirill said to his droid. "No General but I did hear a voice coming from near that wall. It sounded feminine. But my scanner is not picking up a life form."

"Maybe it is a holopad still playing or a com link stuck on?"

"No General. It is not a form of electric voice I heard but from a living being and still there is no one coming up on my sensors."

Kiril frowned for a moment. Taking stock that he himself had a DL-44 blaster and was wearing light armor under his suit and cloak, while BX-103 had a DL-44 and a repeating blaster carbine, that he was fairly sure that he could defend himself since there was no way an army could be hiding behind that wall. Then he stopped in his tracks. "Could it be a force user? They can or could possibly mask their life force?" Bx-103 shook his head. Pulling out his blaster he pointed it towards the wall and spoke loud enough for the other person to hear.

"I am a survivor from the space battle overhead. I am not on anyones side. I was passing through the system when I was attacked. I do not wish to fight but I will defend myself. If you are hurt, I can provide healing in my ship?" Looking over at BX-103 he noticed 103 had his blaster rifle pointed at the wall as well but knew he would not fire unless fired upon first.

"Mm, you don't look like any Republic trooper to me."

The voice said, somehow being able to see what he looks like.

A camp of bat-like creatures seemed to be gathered around the area, their little crimson eyes watching the duo closely.

"Nothing is given for free."

He can hear as the source of the voice grunts in pain for a moment, before a strange looking woman stumbled around the corner...

"I know how these things work, Che copah?"

The woman chuckles a bit after speaking some huttese to him... Her condition was bad, you could even see bone sticking out in places. It was a wonder how she was still even alive, or perhaps a red flag if one deemed it so.

Kirill and even BX-103 looked at each other and then back to her with astonishment in their eyes, if a droid could show emotion. "You are a very clever lady madam to know my true language right off the bat". Kirill said as he lowered his weapon and holstered it. BX-103 did not lower his weapon though.

"Are...are you ok? Please come back to my ship. We have a Bacta tank and it is fully supplied with medical gear and droids. If you want you can even personally erase your existence, digitally from my ship and even take the medical droids with you are have their memory wiped right after. I understand how much a person or being would like their privacy kept. Please come with me. I know things are never free but if you would like we could work something out later."

He held his hand out to her. "I can have BX-103 carry you if you'd like. The ship is not far but I do not think you would make it the 4.5 kilometers to it in your condition."

BX-103 was still trying to process her vitals which were not showing up but he knew she was there and in serious pain. "It would be my honor madam to carry you or to at least hold you upright for the journey." BX-103 said.

"Precisely!" Kirill said. "You can retain all of your weapons. But not in the Bacta tank. Your weapons will be on a table in full view of you. Either way in your condition you will come with us now or we will wait for you to drop unconscious and then take you there. But when and if you wake up, you will be free and your weapons will be you. You have my word such as it is since we both just met." Kirill and BX-103 waited for her response.

The woman smiles faintly, insistent on hobbling forward.

"It's the language of trade, is it not? You could say I know a thing or two, past life."

Despite her clear showing of not wanting help, her broken legs give in and a bone pokes out further. She gazes down at it while on the ground, stubbornly popping the fractured thing almost back.

She was indeed in a great deal of pain, just masked it well enough.

"Bacta... That might work.."

She lets out a sigh, clearly not one to normally accept help.

"Very well, I suppose you have a guest this evening."

The strange woman would give no pushback against the droid if she was picked up, her dainty frame made it easy from even him to carry her, much less a droid.

"What is it you are seeking in a place such as this?"

She asks with a raised brow, part of her figured he was some vulture, here to pick at the dead.. But his attire didn't fit that bill.

(((OOC: Sorry. Work got to me.))

Kirill bowed slightly and gestured for BX-103 to go and get her. Once he did and they were heading back to his ship he almost didn't hear her question as he had a thousand racing through his mind. "I was traveling to Nar Shada to give my current cargo over and collect payment. I will not lie to you madam as you look like you can still kill me with just the very thought of it. I am a slaver among other things. I am also the General of all of the Hunts Armies. My cargo is slaves from all parts of the three Rims. A few are bounties that I managed to find while waiting for the cargo to be found. They are all in Cryro. You will not be as I am a man of my word. I do have some ethics and a since of duty and honor, such as it may be, but I still do. I do not know what you are or who you are but I do know you are a being of great strength and fortitude to endure such as you have." He almost tripped on an exposed piece of rock jetting out of the terrain and regained his balance.

"As for me being down here now. Like I said. We came out of hyperspace to this planet to get some more supplies and fuel. We have enough to get to where we are going but I always plan ahead and try to have enough for....emergencies. When we got out of hyper we were immeaditly attacked and my ship was damaged. I had to make an emergency landing and now my droids are repairing the ship as we speak. 103 and I went out to see if we could find other ships that landed and if no one was around, then use their parts to keep ours in stock. We should be at the ship very soon. Only a few more kilometers."

After an hour and a half went by they finally made it to the ship. It is a Personal Luxury Yacht 300. It has been refitted with a bigger hyperdrive, shield upgrades and weapons as well as a full med bay. It was call The Falcon. Going up to the doors and putting in a code he disabled the security system and the ramp came down. "Ok 103. Get her to Med Bay and tell them what is going on plus all of my instructions earlier about her retaining her weapons or at least that they are kept in her full view at all times and never locked up. If they have to strip her to put her in the Bacta Tank, then let me know so I do not go in there. I want to have her respect and her friendship. Give her what she needs if you can and come get me once she is healed and dressed. Have the droids mend her cloths if possible and if not use some of mine and tailor it for her." 103 nodded and took Adeline to the Med Bay to hopefully get better while Kirill went to his private quarters and had a droid bring him some dinner and wine while he got out of his armor and changed into his suit.

As the man went on.. It was perhaps a red flag that she didn't speak in response to what his job was, then again she didn't speak at all as they walked back.

"A being of great strength to endure as much as she had"

These words lingered in her mind for a moment as they got on the ship.

Once within the med bay she would gesture off the droids, still insistent on doing things by herself. Once alone she would scour any fridges, drinking any blood she could find.. If she found any of course.

Knowing how the tanks work, she sets it up herself, stumbling into the tube as it turned on.

As requested, her weapon was placed in sight. The old and battered lightsaber sitting on a table next the to tank, no attire would be present.

Inside the tank you couldn't see almost anything, a dark shroud had enveloped the glass. Leaving only part of her face visible, the vital signs seemed... Interesting. Reports were showing faster than average repair, even for a bacta treatment.

There were indeed blood packs there and more than enough of a surplus. It was all A+ blood, which matched the Generals blood type.

Kirill was in his quarters snoozing after having a light meal when BX=103 came in. "Excuse me General. I have some information about our guest."

Kirill rubbed at his eyes and in a groggy voice asked. "How long have I been asleep?"

"About three standard hours General. You could use some more but you may want to hear what I have to tell you first." Kirill raised one eyebrow and motioned for 103 to proceed.

"Our guest has been in the Bacta tank for nearly three hours and she has shown signs of healing. Fast healing. Like she is almost done. Her vital signs are also interesting and we cannot read them correctly yet. She appears to be in no danger from what we can see and monitor."

"How so 103. Extrapolate." Kirill stated.

"The tank is murky and we can just make out her face which is nearly healed and that is about all. Any other scans, including infrared, thermal and the usual ones come up with negative findings. But she is healing. That is all we know and that she has used some of your blood packets. I believe she has the same blood type as you and helped herself."

"Well we did say that she could use whatever she needed. I am glad that she is healing. Maybe she would be more inclined to talk to us and have a civil conversation over a meal or two when she gets out of the tank. We could offer her a ride to where she needs to go or at least get her close to her destination. But we will have to wait and see." Kirill said.

"There is one more thing General. And it is of importance." BX=103 said.

"Ok. What is it?" Kirill said.

"She has a lightsaber sitting on top of her clothes pile. We went in there and laundered and mended her clothing like we all discussed and it was laying right there on top of her clothes. We only moved it and the rest of her weapons off to the side to get to her clothes and then put everything back the way it was. We did not make it look like we were hiding anything, just doing as we all agreed upon." BX=103 said as he looked around.

Kirill raked his fingers through his grey hair. "A force user." He said to himself but out loud. "Well that might explain why she had and showed great constitution, fortitude and strength back there to keep walking let alone breathing." He took a few deep breaths and let them out slowly. "Well we will still honor our agreement and help her. I think it is safe to assume that she is no Jedi or she would've had back-up, more healing packs, and the like. I think she is or might be one of those Sith type people. Either way, we need to stay on her good side. Understand?"

BX-103 nodded that he did and Kirill went on. "Now. I am going to go back to sleep. Inform me when she is up and able and dressed. See to her needs and that she gets plenty of food and drink. I am going back to sleep." BX-103 nodded again and left the room and Kirill went back to bed.

Three hours in bacta and only a few packs of blood later, and somehow the woman was able to exit the tank and get dressed.. All on her own.

Inside she still had some pains, but it was nothing.

It wouldn't be long before the stranger placed the saber back on her hip, walking out of the room with a vitality you wouldn't expect.

On her way out she pauses to speak with the droid who was no doubt waiting for her.

"Do you happen to know our next destination?"

A simple enough question, she could realistically be dropped off just about anywhere that had a port.

"And as for payment, is there any discussed price I should know about?"

The Medical droid just starred at her for a moment while it processed the information. The droid is not slow, it was trying to comprehend how the stranger healed so quickly let alone survived at all then it spoke in a soothing female voice. "I do not possess that information madam. I will call over a droid that can answer your questions and I will pass along the questions that you have already asked." It did not wait for a reply and sent the information from its built in com link to BX-103.

A few moments later BX-103 came in and bowed slightly to the stranger. "Greetings Madam. We met before outside as I was the one with the General and I carried you here. I am called BX-103 or just 103 for short. I do not wish to imply that you have a faulty memory madam but to just remind you since you were gravely injured coming here and went unconscious a few times along the way. Very brief moments of unconsciousness as it were."

"To answer your questions and to again give you information. Your host is General Kirill Bratan. General of the Hutt Armies. You are on board his private luxury yacht. Now for your questions. We were on our way to Nar Shada and the General has halted that trip to make you feel more comfortable and at ease. He did not want you to think that he was going to sell you off or trade you because he is a Slaver. He did not know if you were wanted or had enemies on Nar Shada either. So he decided to remain on this planet until you recovered. The General has gave me authority to program the ship to take you to wherever you would like. He would ask that you at least get to a well known port or to one that you and or your faction controls so that he may rest easier knowing that you would at least be safer and get to wherever you might me be going. He fully understands for your need and right to privacy and would do as you command by just dropping you off at any old port in the wind."

"As for your second question. The General said that this trip is free as he is just cruising the galaxy as he put it and although he has slaves and bounties to collect, they are encased in carbonite and are not going anywhere anytime soon. If you want to repay the General back then you can talk to him personally over dinner. Nothing strange madam. He just thinks that you might be very hungry is all. It is not a date as he put it. If you do not have anymore questions at this time or if you do, the please ask them to me as you follow me to the dinning area and then once you are satisfied with the meal an drinks, then I will escort you to your own quarters here on the ship."
103 then turned around after he got an answer from her and started walking to the dinning area. She would most likely hear the droid mutter to himself. "I do not think that I have talked that much in a day or at once until we met this lady."

Kirill was sitting at a table sipping on some red wine while server droids were bringing out the food that was still hot. BX-103 told Kirill that you were up and moving and so he had food prepared for you not knowing what you actually are.

"Interesting."

Was her response to the rather talkative droid, she did not expect free medical treatment and healing. For now she kept an eye open so to speak, nothing was ever free.

Following the droid she arrived at the dining area, rather fancy, it was something she could get behind.

"It is fine to drop me off wherever, doesn't matter if the people there want me dead or not."

The stranger takes a seat at the table, having ladylike manners as she gently adjusted herself in. Everything here appeared cooked, not her full preference but it would be foolish to expect others to dine the way she did.

"It is also unwise to trust someone to program the ship, someone you do not know. You seem rather adamant on helping me or trusting me, why is this?"

A simple question and statement spoken with a gentle tone, while she waited for his response she would have some servant droid nitpick the rarest cuts of meats to go along with the random assortment of vegetables. If anything she seemed rather at ease for such a luxurious place, perhaps hinting it was an environment she was accustomed to?
