It had been some time since the Battle of Kashyyk. A new call was sent out. Fresh soldiers were needed. With no Clone Army and Loathe to conscript Jack Raxis took action. Taking it upon himself to organize and outfit a band of wild and unruly Rogues. The Dark Tides of the Mandalorian Crusade were crashing upon them.
So he grabbed the blackest hearts he could find. The most villainous, wanted, and corrupt. And mashed them together into a prestigious unit, set to carve it's place in Republic History forever. Throw away shock troops with a fanatical zeal.
Dawn Company.....
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The rising sun broke the horizon bathing the concrete drill pads in a red hue. They'd been up for hours now, running drill after drill. They were tired, and Jack was tired, but war required one to be tired. Freedom came at no easy price. It required sacrifice.

Most of the men and women here were wanted criminals or Vagabonds. Held together by one thing. The hope of a pardon, which would not be granted until their service was up. The exchange of blood for a new life drew the wild and the wicked, and it was up to him and his handpicked Captains to hammer the Company into a cohesive, orderly and lawful force.

"Again!"

"Yarrghhhh!"

From one side of the trenches swarms of bodies piled forth onto the makeshift defenses of the simulated fortress. Sim rounds and stun blasts ripped the ozone, crackling the air with energy. Jack was at the fore, wading through the sea of fire. Stun blaster in one hand and silver banner pole in the other.

The symbol of a rising golden sun emblazoned upon it.

"Charge!"

"Yarghhh!"

So far they were zero and sixteen. Every single assault had been rebuked, all the attackers mowed down.

"There it is, shields up!"

From the rear brown coated, oil stained and greasy warriors burst forth, deploying a durasteel shield and locking them. They were fighting the Mando'ade which meant it was time to go back to old warfare.

"Phalanx push!"

And push they did, right up onto the parapets of the wall...

" Sod this fer a game of soldiers. " Anaki yelled breaking formation and charging her opponents.
She tapped into the force she ignited her saber feeling it's familiar hum as it generated it's ultra low frequency of dread.
and she dove in to the line of troopers and began butchering them.

Standing among his brigade in his shining gold armor, he called orders, yelling at all to slow to respond, and praising those who understood. They'd been doing this for hours now, and he still felt like a million bucks.

"Alpha, Beta! Left face! Aim high and control your firing! In a real battle you think you'll have a endless supply of magazines? HELL NO! Get your heads out of your asses and load up!"

He was always the more colorful one when it came to things like this, but the best so far in making sure brigade moral was at peak efficiency. Stepping down from his platform, he freed his rifle, sending a stun round into a few of the men that [member="Jack Raxis"] was leading. Then of course, there was [member="Anaki Sann"]. She needed a good ass kicking, breaking rank like that is what gets good men killed. Having his Lt Take charge, he would jump down onto the advancing line, correcting any flaw he saw.

"Raise your shoulder, cover yourself but also those behind you." Here he wasn't loud, just a soft, firm tone and a big rifle was all a captain needed. Making his way over to Jack, he watched the two groups fight for domination. "After the mess hall I'll go after some drills tactics, then they're all yours....even crazy Anakia...who I am really considering sparring with to teach her some discipline. Thoughts?"

Farlon Orbit

Tough, Disciplined, Die-hard.
Orbit ran amongst his soldiers, no where near as fast and as in physical shape as many of these recruits were, but he was far more determined on their fighting than their physical abilities. His right foot slid into the mud as a stun bolt nearly took him down, one of the women under his command helped him up and Orbit resumed leading his men. He stopped, using his gun laden hand pointed towards the enemy walls, his other waving towards it, "Let's go people! If we aren't to fall behind we need to take that wall faster than a Rancor can stomp a wompa rat!" he yelled.

Orbit began blasting his own before he saw one of his men cowering behind makeshift cover, within the fire Orbit stomped through the wet dirt and grabbed the collar of the young man and dragged him out, "Did I order you to sit on your ass and let your brothers and sisters get blasted to bits, trooper!" The 19 year old stammered out a, "N-no sir." Farlon grit his teeth, "Well get back to your unit bantha fodder! I want you supporting our left flank immediately! Go go go!"

The young soldier ran as fast as he could between the fire and mud to the position he had been ordered. Farlon was preparing to send his men on another attack when he saw his CO [member="Jack Raxis"] and peer [member="Nate the Bounty Hunter"] conversing. He too let his XO take charge of his unit in the battle. Farlon wiped away some dirt from beneath his eye, all he heard was the last sentence, but it was enough to bridge himself in, "Captain Nate I highly advice you to digress from challenging one of our fellow officers in front of, or even while in charge of the troops. Back in my professional days our senior officers fighting never gave us a good sense of solidarity in the unit."

Boom!

"Nope" Jan said as he stared at the battle with his arms crossed.

Boom!

Jan sat crossed leg on the ground and stared at the battle through his HUD. It would take a lot of shaping up, but this force could be a force to be reckoned with. They had able bodied officers. [member="Nate the Bounty Hunter"] and [member="Farlon Orbit"] were doing a great job so far. Though Jan was having difficulty taking Nate seriously in his gold plated armor. Who wore gold plated armor anymore? Well, Jan won't judge. As long as Nate kept the grunts in line and kept getting kills, he was alright. [member="Anaki Sann"] though......was interesting. Jan considered her a sort of Berserker in thier ranks. Highly dangerous to the enemy, and to any allies close by. Jan found that oddly attractive but quickly let that thought fade away. He had his own problems to handle.

"Not even close" Jan said as he started to tap the finger of his right arm on his left hand in impatience.

Boom!

"What the krak are you aiming at?" Jan said as he looked around at the two sniper groups next to him.

Boom!Boom!Boom!Boom!Boom! -Click-

"I think you hit a bird that time.....wait....nope." Jan said as he finally took his E-11 sniper rifle off his back and laid on the ground between the two sniper.

"First off, you don't aim at a moving target. You aim where you believe he is going to go. Look at the body and try to look for those signals that tell you where your target is going to go or what he is going to do." Jan said as he took his gun and starting aiming.

".You stay still as much as you can, only moving the top half of your body. Make sure you are comfortable, and look for the perfect opportunity." Jan said as he aimed his rifle at a small squad of troops rallying behind an officer on the wall.

"Your job isn't to just kill, but to cause confusion and turmoil in the enemy lines. An army is a well oiled machine that is made up of a bunch of parts. The thing is with machines, you take out the right part and..."

Boom!

Jan watched as the enemy officer fell to the ground. The enemy troops lost their morale and sense of direction. The group was soon overwhelmed. That's what Jan liked, results.

"The machine dies." Jan said as he aimed his rifle again. "Let's get to work boys."

Boom! Boom! Boom!

"You pieces of krak, better not use up all our ammo!"

The way Anaki saw it thinning the enemy kept your men safe the more you killed the less they had to.
she span a dervish hacking stabbing in baud arcs practically dairying an opponent to try and take her from behind.
to her troops she was loyal to a fault almost protective of them.

She would lead if necessary but i't would be by example and she fought with fear and intimidation.
she was there to be as scary as all hell to her opponents she wanted there attention on her not her troops.
" Look at the scary woman killing your friends not the small uniformed man next to me. "

Hearing the distinctive sound of sniper rifles, he would look up, his gaze resting on [member="Jan Valdum"].(My armor is cooler than yours and you know it.)) The man was doing good with his small squad of long rage gunners, but another officer pulled his attention away. Listening to [member="Farlon Orbit"], he nodded, gripping the muzzle of his rifle as the butt stuck in the ground, his hair messy from his helmet. "Yes, but she's isn't in any real position of power as she is still a private. As long as she keeps her men alive, we won't have a problem. But come, we need to finish this and see if Jack can finally win for once. Orbit, will you take control of my company, please? I'm going to stay and help lead the attack with Raxis."

[member="Jack Raxis"], [member="Anaki Sann"]

Anaki finished her assault skewering one assailant ant lifting him up before grabbing her in a tk grip then swinging her saber bisecting the poor woman then bringing her saber down on her skill cleaving her again.
she approached [member="Nate the Bounty Hunter"] [member="Jack Raxis"] [member="Jan Valdum"] with a huge grin on her face.
"This was just a warm up right?" she laughed.

The Machine Lives

'FWOOSH' it winked and popped like a colourful blister, riding the solar winds out of hyper space. Light from distance stars drifted by, eliminating the bridges darkness, it made him look more threatening the way shadows crawled over him like malign imps sent from the darkness corners of the galaxy, it made him look like a space demon that had bred with a toaster.

He lounged openly on his chair, he was spinning aimlessly. "Drink." he said a neighbouring slave moved to pour and hand him one, he took it with a careless swipe of his clawed hand it began to crack, a few jagged patterns rose at its rim, he couldn't actually drink it but all the same it made him remember. "More." it began to pool, than overflow before a quick gesture sent it sailing at an adjacent wall, remembering was all fine and good but when it got painful it really miffed his cybernetics.

It shattered.

The shuttle landed with a heavy 'click' and 'pop' as a mixture of steam and smoke churned out of the landing equipment, coating the ground in a swirling mass of smog. "[member="Jack Raxis"]." a voice crooned, testing the word in his theoretical mouth warming to it with a grating noise. "I am here." All geometric angles and sharp points, the heavy rumble of pistons, the creak and moan of metal and the ever so audible scratching. His arm's folding across his upper abdomen bowed slightly, he gave the measured a cursory glance regarding his area.

Jynx's group were pushing forward with energy shields.
"Keep formation and push."
This main force was as much as a distraction as the latter group behind laying down sniper fire. Both were to distract from those trying to flank the enemies from behind. Yet should one of the distractions be ignored then that one shall be utilised to it's full effect.
"Fire back through the shield formation."
Jynx's own specialisation was melee combat. But in the battlefield there needs to be something that draws enemy attention so that a unit can come close into combat. That's what they were training for: suppression fire to distract from a specialised close-up unit. With tranq-darts and non-lethal firearms enemy soldiers could be taken in for interrogation.

So her main group pushed forward with shields and sniper fire lighting the sky above whilst the flanks tried to stay hidden and close in.
"Hopefully we'll get proper HALOs and stealth tech in the field..."

Reen Lorgon

Pilot. Smuggler. Incredibly handsome. I got it all
Reen was not in his element here. He was a pilot, a bloody good one at that. So being on the ground in military formation was kinda odd for him, not to mention stressful. He'd already had to do several combat drills in the last couple of hours, with no sign of an end. Now they were doing an assault, with him closer to the front than he'd like. M-44 blaster pistol in his right hand, set to stun of course with his secondary pistol attached to his belt. Energy shield in left and pushing against the enemy. He was situated near another member of the company, @Jynx.

"This is not what I signed up for!" He yelled, shooting a couple of shots into the enemy force.

Tag which team you're on. Team A Assaulting, Team B defending.

Team A

Yutan Training Grounds

From the corners of his vision Jack watched the line buckle, formation breaking as the assault began to slow. Withering fire was knocking back most of the main assault force. Again they would fail, but this time he had a different plan. The main shield wall held just a moment longer, and he roared standing tall above the din as sizzling lances of blue stun rounds whistled past his helmet.

"Deploy flanking manuevers now!"

From the rear two heavy weapons squads fell out, armed with repeaters. They scrambled left and right as far as they could and dropped their bipods into the rough clumps of sod. Dust puffed up as their repeater barrels spun, unleashing a new wave of covering fire. The other team managed to knock two gunners down right out of the gates with sniper fire.

He needed more fire superiority.

"Additional fire, in ranks, fire!"

From behind the shield walls the men began to fire in successive waves, laying down a blanket effect.

"Push!"

And they pushed again, attempting to take the wall.

Team B

Jan watched as the the flanking maneuver was issued. Looks like the plan was coming together. Good, because the initial assault was starting to waiver. What else would you expect from a brand new company? Plus, most of the troops were never properly trained as soldiers. Alot of people were going to get their asses stunned today. Jan looked at the sniper on his left, and the other on his right.

"Okay new orders. Focus fire on those flanking teams." Jan said as he started to reload his clip.

"S1 attack the left flankers. S2 atack the right flankers. If either of you feel that you can not provide enough sufficient fire, tell me and I will focus my fire on that flank. I will focus on any enemy fire that comes upon this position untill then. Good?" Jan said as he slammed a clip into his rifle.

"Yep" S1 responded as he changed position.
"Let's kick some ass, people!" S2 yelled as he began to give covering fire.

Team A.

Now on opposite teams, he was in the midst of the attacking soliders, the sight of his rifle trained on the hill he believed the snipers were. First shot from them and he'd rain down hell, sending stim rounds deep into their territory. But, as of right now, he wasn't doing much.

As the team split for the flanking movement, he made his way to the back of a group, the wolf emblems on his armor snarling as he began to lay down covering fire on the men above the wall. The volly of blaster fire from the men around him was deafening, and he was the only one not firing in with everyone else. Soon, the loud boom of sniper fire would reach his ears, and a Zabrack beside him took a round right in the chest, sprawling onto the ground, leaving his golden plated ass right in the open. "Fethin hell!" Turning, he would soon see the muzzle flash of the snipers, and would return fire. The rather quiet sound of his rifle sang out, as he pulled back the action, letting his magazine fall the ground. Without losing his aim, he would slam back another mag, the shells soon hitting the ground as he opened fire once again on the sniper trio. One shot went home, blasting the sniper known as "S1".

Soon after that, he was bombarded with fire from the defendants, one blast leading right on his thigh, sending arcs of blue energy up his body, causing him to fall as he scrabbled for cover. Whoever managed to land a shot on him knew he wasn't down, as the turf around him was being demolished by blaster bolts. As long as he stayed in cover, he could shake off the stun, but he would have to eliminate the defender that was raining down fire on him, and the snipers.

Time to get busy.

Team B

"Arggh" S1 yelped as he got shot stun round. Jan turned his rifle and quickly saw who took out S1. [member="Nate the Bounty Hunter"]. Jan quickly aimed and took a shot at Nate before he got to cover. It connected, but didn't take Nate down. Krak.

"S1 is down.....and guess who did it...golden boy." Jan said as he popped down into cover.

"Shoot, I thought we shot him!" S2 yelled as a shot glanced over his head.

"Guess we didn't shoot him enough. S2 let's take Nate out." Jan said as he peeked over the wall and took a couple shots on Nate's position.

"...Aren't we counteracting the flanking teams?" S2 asked scratching his head.

"If we don't take out Nate, we won't be able to." Jan said as he peeked over and let out a quick shot.

"...It got personal didn't it?" S2 asked with a sigh as he fired a couple shots down at Nate too.

"Yep, no defending team has lost the wall yet. We are not going to be the ones that lost it." Jan said as he looked around the walls.

'Krayt piss." S2 said.

"Nate is behind cover over there(Jan pointed at a durasteel barricade) I am going to flank him, and take him out. I think I shot him, so he won't be at his full capabilities.I'm going down there, keep him pinned and cover me." Jan said as he put his rifle on his back.

Jan slowly got up from his position on one of the towers on the wall. They quickly slid down the ladder on the battlements. They were slowly deteriorating. The defending team was not faring well against the flanking maneuver. Jan took out a stun blaster pistol and starting making his way towards Nate's position. Even in a full scale training battle, there was always time to hunt.

Team B

"Re-divert fire we're taking out one of their flanking groups"

The combined forces of her unit should give them the advantage by attrition. As for the other groups defending, the fortress itself could make up for the number of missing units.

"Same plan as before, lay down covering sniper fire onto the front whilst our close-ups move in from the side"

Only one side was available for flanking this time since they were attacking the side of the opposing force. So the distraction had to be flashier than before.

The close-ups had arrived, spotted from 30m away with no cover. It didn't matter. They came crashing into the opposing forces with their shields. Melee speciality or not the number advantage was showing and this side of the board was soon to be a threat to the opposing force.
