Frozen Omen

The world of RHen Var was becomign something different now. Morse could barely believe it as she was part of a team that had been exploring but where that might have once upon a time caused fear. Here on the world with the improvements.... the blizzards were easier to handle. Small outposts for resupplying equipment or getting warm, roadways and pathways that wound through the mountains with shielding on them that were working here. She had decided to explopre one of the locations in general and on the map. A derelict star destroyer that had been brought down and was being well changed by the Silver Watch. It was there and frozen over in an area they were clearing to give it and the contents of the hanger a place to move around. Bringing in new ships and equipment so that it might not completely work and function flying in space but as a stationary base it served a purpose.

Her red hair tied back in a tight ponytail trailing over the lightly armored bodysuit with her lightsaber on her hip and the view in her goggles appeared. she could see it as well as the open area around it. She was checking out a few more parts before she tapped the hardlight pad on her wrist and pulled up all of the information she could. Coming out of the safety of the roadways as sh was heading there, solari fields of crystal under the ice that gleamed and she could feel it in the force. The ships going overhead bringing in supplies and equipment to continue the renovations and restorations across the world. Including fortresses and cities. Real cities here that might attract others to the world to give them a better idea for it. New native species in an arctic preserve recovered from worlds like Hoth and Ilum. Ropo's and silverwings or jakobeasts.

"Now leaving containment field." She heard the Ai speak as the shield shimmered and let her, the feeling of the cold was there even with the armor and undersuit, her circlet for the weather. She still knew it was there, still could feel it deeply in her bones. This far away from the main spaceport of the jedi temple, the twists and turns of the pathways going from caves and the tombs that they had discovered. She knew geothermal vents and heated water that had been discovered was being used to warm some of the places around here. Her eyes flicked around looking at it when the feeling of the frost forming on her eyebrows came. Red hair gleaming and bright against the white snow until she stopping in the mountains and knew they were really trying to find anything nere that might say from what era and how long the ship had been on the world.

Rhen Var. Why she had been chosen to accompany a salvage team here she would never know - the world was a deathtrap of hypothermia and over-exposure to the elements. She had little interest in the local populace, and less still for the terrain, but duty was duty at the end of the day. She was intent on carrying it out to the letter. All that she knew is that there had been the discovery of a downed star-destroyer, and that she would be charged with ensuring the teams safety should any Jedi make their presences known while they were investigating and recovering potentially lost Imperial information.

The prospect was thrilling.

Yet here she was anyway, trudging through snow and mountains in silence, occasionally pausing to check the holomap to ensure that the team was headed in the right direction. To pass the time, she had taken to reciting the Sith Code in her head, reinforcing it's teachings and steeling herself against the elements by ensuring her focus was on that as opposed to the bitter wind that somehow managed to find an entrance into the thermal gear they had donned to survive in the wasteland...

Morse could see more of it, from here now as she continued on the jedi padawan had her saber on her hip. Her master and her well sister in law.. maybe. Cynna Sunrider was well on a mission. Things themselves were changing before the snow crunched underneath her boots. THe bodysuit gleaming with the reinforced duraplast and skylar materials. It kept her body well formed and warm before she was looking out towards the open hanger itself. She was preparing to go inside and get to search through everything. She could see some parts that were out, broken walkers and shuttles crashed, torn apart and scattered in the snow as sections had ice over them. What looked like frozen troopers in their armor but nothing remained of the bodies themselves, where she could search it and find the thermal kama they had. "There isn't much." She was looking at parts of their equipment to try and see if it can be used or if the power cells were too frozen over.
