The "Sentinel"-class was developed in line with the "Watch"-class, offering speed and offensive systems but sacrificing survivability. The design is called a pocket-battleship by its engineers due to the strong main armament but the low tonnage. It is considered a raider ship, especially capable of hunting down convoys, cargo ships and dealing with the forces which can quickly enough react. It is not designed to engage in prolonged combat with heavy cruisers or bigger, but can deal a good amount of damage.
