SPECIAL FEATURES

• Diagnostic Chip - Diagnostic system runs automatic maintenance checks on the blade and is able to identify parts, systems, and components in need of repair or replacement.
  
  • Electronics and Communications Suite - Integrated electronics and communication suite that links to virtually any system, allowing the wielder to obtain hard data from the blade’s systems, such as running temperatures, stability, diagnostic information, Etc.
• Remote Link - The blade can be controlled by Chasianna via an ion-scrambled ghostwave-channeled bio-hexacrypted frequency-hopping short range comm link, allowing the wielder to interface with the weapon remotely. This typically takes the form of a neural link, but it can be interfaced with via other means.
• Mono-Molecular Edge - The blade has edges honed to a single molecule of thickness. Thus, the edges are extremely, surgically sharp, increasing potential cutting performance.
• Svolten Rhyolite Treatment - Allows the blade to retain its integrity, sharpness, and cutting power even after sustaining hard impacts with the blade of a lightsaber or with especially dense materials.
• Trapped Grip - Controlled by an integrated biometric authentication access control system which allows only Chasianna and anyone she permits to activate and wield the weapon. The blade is equipped with an anti-theft system, whereby the grip will discharge a potent electrical energy field in the event that the weapon is handled by an unauthorized agent, with the potential to cause severe burn injuries to the victim.
• Sound Dampening System - Each blade has an integrated sound damper that renders the weapon completely silent, making it ideal for stealth applications.
• Ultrasonic Vibration Generator - A high-grade vibration generator, the ultrasonic vibration generator causes the blade to vibrate with extreme speed and force, giving the weapon the ability to tear through flesh, hard organic carapace, thick stone, and heavy metal alloys the likes of titanium and durasteel. In addition, the blades have the potential to inflict devastating, gaping wounds and possibly even dismember, with only a touch.

  • Mark IV Energy Cell - The energy cell envelopes the blade in a Class-D disruptor energy field. Thus, in addition to slashing and cutting damage, the blade can molecularly excite the direct area of impact with enough potency to incinerate the likes of beskar, phrik, aged wintrium, and other similarly exotic and resilient materials.
  • Mark III Sonic Discharge Cell - When installed, the sonic discharge cell allows the blade to unleash an explosive overpressure wave upon impact, which is capable of shattering rock, buckling titanium, and plates of similarly-graded materials. Against organic targets, it can rupture organs and body cavities, rip flesh, blow open armored carapace, smash bones, and more. Through this, the blade’s slashing and cutting capability (from ultrasonic vibrations of the monomolecular blade) may be significantly augmented by potentially ruining much of the target’s integrity and armor just as the edge strikes the target. This overpressure wave can also compromise the balance of individuals on the receiving end of it, potentially causing them to lose grip of their weapon.
  • Empty Chamber - If the chamber is left empty, only the effects from the ultrasonic vibration chamber and the mono-molecular edge will apply.
• Resilient Construction - Owing to its resilient construction, the blade is very resistant to lightsabers, vibroblades, and energy weapons.
• Collapsing Mirrors Retraction System - The blade can retract within the hilt via molecular disruptor mirror cells for safe, easy, and concealed storage on a person.

STRENGTHS

• Rip and Tear - The Fuchsia Edge can be fitted with either an energy cell or a sonic discharge cell (or the enhancement chamber may be left empty). These enhancement cells, in addition to the mono-molecular blade and the ultrasonic vibration system, lend the blade extreme potential cutting power, allowing it to shear through virtually any material with frightening efficiency.
• Attune Lock - Chasianna has developed a very strong attunement with the vibroblade. Thus, any Force-user attempting to seize control of her weapon—whether telekinetically or via some other method of the Force—must contest against its wielder’s willpower to do so.
• Silent Blade - The Fuchsia Edge is completely silent in operation, making it quite ideal for stealth applications. In addition, the Skuggalegt coating makes the weapon extremely difficult to detect. FInally, the Taozin skin integrated into the construction of the blade has the capability to blur or cloud the preternatural senses of a Force wielder, potentially hindering the effectiveness of various sensory powers when focused directly on the wielder and the blade itself.

WEAKNESSES

• Unconventional Weaponry - The Fuchsia Edge is largely unable to truly defend against particle beams or other explosive-style weapons.
• Mechanical Mutation - Like any piece of technology, the Fuchsia Edge will be susceptible to mechu-deru and other technology-twisting powers if left unprotected. A talented practitioner of such esoteric sorceries could induce an overload or some other failure that might compromise much of the vibroblade’s advanced functions, potentially reducing its potential cutting power or compromising one of its utility features in the process.

DESCRIPTION
Fuchsia Edge is a vibroblade designed for Chasianna as a starter primary weapon. Gifted to her upon her enrollment into the Kor’ethyr Academy, the weapon is a fairly basic, albeit powerful design that is intended to harmonize with Chasianna’s affinity for stealth-based Force powers. In terms of composition, the blade itself is constructed from beskar seized during the Kainate occupation of Moridinae. Its notable features include integrated Taozin that can blur the senses of a Force wielder, a modular enhancement cell chamber, an ultrasonic vibration generator, a retraction system for easy storage, and a mono-molecular edge. These features synergize to make the weapon not only extremely deadly, but also quite practical.

Finally, more than one copy of the blade was produced, with spares so that Chasianna can dual wield them if so desired or have replacements on hand in the event of a malfunction.
