As far as Sith went, Zahra Teph, Chief Artificer of Greystone Mercantile, failed to tick a great many boxes. She had little interest in conquest, was a subpar warrior at best, and favoured isolated innovation to adrenaline-fuelled bloodshed. Even so, she was not completely removed from the eternal conflict between Jedi and Sith - upon learning that Jedi had made one of history's finest sniper rifles, she felt obligated to outdo them.
It mattered little that said Jedi had promptly been excommunicated for their actions. It was the principle of the matter.
The end result of this spiteful project was an exotic amalgamation of advanced and fiendishly expensive components, including Verpine tech, parts of a lightsaber, and no less than thirteen specially-modified galven coils intended to stabilise and bolster the slugs' deflector shielding.

- Furthestkiller fires hypersonic slugs enshrouded in specially-designed deflector shields that all but eliminate air friction, allowing the slugs to traverse vast differences with negligible loss of momentum. Additionally, microthrusters allow them to shift their trajectory on the go, though the incredible speeds involved more or less require prescience. Slugs without such components are much cheaper and can be shot faster.
- Manual use of the slugs' course-correction capabilities may also be possible for cyborgs and others with inhuman reaction speeds.
- Death from Afar: Furthestkiller can fire hypersonic projectiles over near-unfathomable distances; due to the remarkable speed of the slugs and their relative density, direct impacts are comparable in yield to thermal detonators despite typically not having explosive components.
- Moving Targets: Furthestkiller's slugs are devilishly fast; despite this, hitting moving targets over vast distances is rather difficult.
- Glacial Reload: Furthestkiller can only hold one bullet at a time, reloads slowly, and must recharge between every shot.
- Rainy Days: Furtheskiller's 'energy sleeves' can be broken by sufficient rain/snowfall, sandstorms, and the like.
