- Limited Duration: On a single charge, the device can only provide about an hour of sound-dampening.
A spy knows full well the danger of being overheard at the wrong time. Thus, Isobel Nakano set about to devise a device that would provide some protection for that. The device, which functions as a stylish makeup compact and is available in several design patterns (including, as picture, a vintage floral pattern, a simple plaid, and other geometric patterns) and can hold cosmetics by Black Lotus (sold separately). But when the makeup housing is turned 180 degrees anti-clockwise, the device generates a small sound-dampening device which is designed to foil eavesdropping, either electronic or manual, by creating a field in which conversation cannot be overheard. Although the device could be considered gendered, Black Lotus is researching a method to provide a unisex or 'male-oriented' counterpart as soon as it can decide on a catchy acronym.
