Faction [GA - open jedi] Visit to Coruscant Temple

My escape took some time before I finally arrived in Galactic Alliance space. I managed to flee that damned laboratory run by my sister, and it was no easy feat. Afterward, I had to lie low for a while and buy a means of transportation to move freely across the galaxy.

To do this, I reached out to a private individual who custom-built a ship for me. That's how I got here.

During my little quest, I discovered that the Jedi have a large temple on Coruscant. So, I decided to head there with my personal ship, taking care to activate stealth mode to bypass radars and ignore checkpoints.

This was the perfect opportunity to test the experimental deflector installed by my shipbuilder, making me invisible and allowing me to dock safely on Coruscant. Once I landed, I disabled all the stealth systems, making my presence visible to everyone.

The temple is massive this is the first time I've set foot in it, and I admit I feel a bit lost. I gather my belongings: my thermos of tea, my datapad, and my lightsaber.

I begin climbing the grand steps of the temple, finding myself in a place where dozens of Jedi pass by daily. I've put on my Jedi tunic to blend in with the surroundings, as I must admit my lab subject attire wouldn't be well-received here.

I head towards the building's map to locate myself. I'll need to meet other Jedi. I am occuped to read the plan, and understand where is the place i want find. I use my index for help me with the corridors.

"Hmm, where is the meeting room here?"

Another day in the salles, another afternoon's wandering.

Occupying his easygoing stride with a stretch of upper limbs, Jack made casual, close-mouthed grunts as he did his time with an aimless meandering. The large, lavish halls of the Temple always open to meandering, and no one could get in trouble for it, provided they stayed out from the right spots.

Senses pricked at a notion of confusion, the bearded Knight turned to its origins. A young woman, regarding her tech, with a noticable scrunched expression in the midst of her curiosity. Pausing his walk, Jack felt inclined to lend a hand, should she require it.

Thus, also, needing an excuse to get over his own social anxiety, he approached and called out, "You alright?"

While I am consulting the map, I lose track of the route I was looking at. I decide to give up and turn to my interlocutor. Ultimately, I think a simple person could help me much more quickly than this difficult-to-read map.

"I'm doing well but tired, long travel, and you? Actually, yes, I think so. I'm new here, and I'm lost. Perhaps you could help me..."

The reason for my confusion is rather simple: I don't know where to start to get introduced to the temple and to sort out my official documents, etc. Currently, I also don't have any official papers within the Galactic Alliance, and this is quite problematic in case of a police check. That's why I was forced to hide my ship to avoid inspections in order to get here.

"I also need to get news identity papers. And meed a member of the galactic alliance for join it officially. "

I take a sip of tea calmly. I don't mind running into people. I make an effort to give them a warm smile. They appear to be a Jedi Knight. I can sense it from their aura, which is similar to mine.

"Ah." One of those he can help with, easily enough. The latter? Yeah, Jack folded his arms, smirking knowingly, "I can take you to someone to help get you papers, what's the first thing you need?"

Drumming his right foot upon the carpeted marble, in ease. He waited paitently for the young Knight to take her time, all the while curious behind her background. Transferred from one of the Jedi outposts outside Alliance space, perhaps? He didn't sense any darkness or ill intention, but even if there were, Jack was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt.

Besides, her eyes were adorable.

When the ship first landed, viewed through the Force Spectrum of his Miralukan blind-sight Aadihr paid it no mind. It appeared a ship like any other, and a nervous pilot was not uncommon. He wouldn't have even noticed if it wasn't for the surprised and frustrated auras of the dock assistants in the open air hangar trying to piece together where the ship had suddenly come from.

The aura of the pilot seemed light and earnest enough, and they were seeking help from Jack Wright Jack Wright already. Aadihr could at least assuage the workers before whatever happened gets to Air Control.

The Jedi Knight addressed the workers,
"I'm sorry, I was experimenting with the Force on the shuttle - I didn't think to warn you all ahead of time. Go ahead and put my name down for this slot. Aadihr Lidos - that's two A's - yes that's correct. Have a nice day!"

That should buy enough time and keep them from checking the ship's registration. Aadihr cast his Far-Sight away from himself, searching for the pilot and the faint waves of distress. If someone had snuck in here with good intentions and seeking help, Aadihr would make sure they found the help they needed, not interrogations and suspicion.

Aadihr's staff clicked as the blindfolded Miraluka walked towards the auras of both Jack Wright Jack Wright and Arassyl Nnyrht Arassyl Nnyrht , seeking her not out of suspicion but compassion.

It's advisable to play it safe here, so I maintain a relaxed attitude as well since I'm here to sort out my identity papers and start a new life. A life that would suit me much better. The other person is ready to help, and I offer them a warm smile to thank them for their compassion.

"I would need a Galactic ID card; that could be a good start to becoming compliant... How i can do this at first ? Thanks you!"

The advantage of having a Galactic ID card is that in case of a check, I could present these documents to the authorities and benefit from their protection instead of being arrested as an illegal immigrant.

I had a feeling I would attract attention. I sense someone else walking in our direction. I keep sipping my tea calmly; there's no malice in my aura. All I seek here is safety and the opportunity to contribute to the Jedi Temple in any way I can.

A Miraluka seems to be looking for us. I see them approaching and decide to address them in a soft and calm voice.

"Hello, is there something I can do for you?"

"Hello, is there something I can do for you?"

"Actually, I was wondering if there was anything I could do for you?" Aadihr waited while a bystander walked past, and continued when they were out of earshot, "It's not everyday a ship appears out of thin air at the Jedi temple, but I've taken the blame for that with the temple guard" Aadihr replied with a smile, conveying he did not begrudge having to do so nor did he expect anything in return, and also filling in Jack Wright Jack Wright with the circumstances of the lady's arrival.

Lowering his voice, Aadihr spoke privately between the three of them, "The temple has resources for refugees and runaways - though the entrance was unconventional, you've come to the right place." Aadihr tried his best to convey security and assurance in his voice - surely the woman had a reason for her secretive entrance. He didn't want to accidentally frighten them but help them feel comfortable enough to share the truth with them.

Aadihr lifted his blindfolded face to Jack Wright Jack Wright "her aura is brimming with light, she's surely force sensitive."

As I expected, my arrival wasn't very discreet. Then again, I wasn't particularly trying to be. I deliberately concealed my ship and made it appear directly in the hangar to bypass all the inspections, ensuring peace and avoiding drawing attention or creating a commotion with security forces.

"Actually, I need identity papers and to get updated. I also want to register with the Jedi Temple so that I'm no longer considered a refugee but a Jedi of the galaxy."

I explained the same thing as I did to Jack, because that's simply and plainly why I'm here. I'm not trying to hide my intentions; they can analyze my aura if they want to.

He mentioned that he had intentionally eased security measures to allow me to land smoothly without causing a huge mess, a friendly gesture on his part that I returned with a warm smile.

"Thank you, that's very kind of you. I'm here to join your ranks and share some rather sensitive information."

I didn't think I could do this with the police forces because they wouldn't understand my connection to the Force. Here, it's different. My story, however strange it might sound, would be more easily accepted. On the other hand, Galactic Order police would've likely thought I was crazy, which I prefer to avoid. I'd rather speak directly to the Jedi once and for all, as it will help me integrate more easily and allow me to assist them in the future.

I chuckle internally when he tells his colleague how luminous my aura is, and that reassures me I'm very different compared to my sister.

"How can I normalize all of this and share my confidential information?"

"That she is." Although something was pecuilar about her Force signature, Jack didn't choose to comment for now. There were bigger fish to fry, such as helping their new friend's ID get sorted. He beamed wide to the young human, folding his arms with a tight casualness, "Well, my dear, I think the best option to get your officialized among the Jedi is to converse with one of the Masters. You mentioned being a refugee?"

I'd clearly prefer to avoid talking about it here, in the middle of all these poor Padawans who didn't ask to hear about the horrors caused by the war.

I am a refugee, and I come from very far away, which explains the fatigue on my face I didn't take a break during the journey for fear of being caught afterward.

"I'd rather discuss this in a more secluded place, but to give you a hint, I came from the Branxant Run Hyperspace Road. Specifically, in the northeast quadrant of the map."

"Yeah, I'm a refugee, and I want to formalize my belonging to the galaxy, just as everyone else has the right to."

I also decide to show them my own lightsaber already built, and it's a real one, it's not a training model like one would entrust to a padawan or a novice. I am already comfortable with strength and the art of combat. I don't activate it here, but I decide to put it on my belt, the blade is green, typical of the Jedi.

The woman's aura displayed confidence in her capabilities as she displayed her lightsaber. If she hadn't already stated her intent to join the Jedi, Aadihr would have begun second-guessing that she wasn't one already.

Aadihr nodded and motioned for them to follow, "let's get you registered with the Order first, they'll apply for Alliance citizenship simultaneously as part of the process - it's handled a bit differently for refugees seeking to join the NJO instead of, for example, a merchant from outside the Alliance applying for GA citizenship itself." As Aadihr walked towards the Archivist's offices.

"I'm assuming the ship you brought isn't yet registered with you in Alliance space? If it's not stolen from within the alliance, they should also be able to register it alongside your citizenship." If it was stolen, perhaps, Aadihr would find some way to get it returned without legal issues, but that was a problem for later.

"Once they've completed the application it will be routed to the office of both a councillor of the NJO and a senator of the GA, and typically should take less than an hour, from what I've heard."

Aadihr realized he was probably yapping too much, but it was information he would want if he was in her shoes.
"Lastly, once the citizenship and enrollment application are complete, you'll have the right to accomodations in the Jedi Temple's Dormitory and Meal Hall. Whatever happened in the past, you'll be safe here."

As he walked along the corridor to the Archivist Registrar's office, he paused for a second, hoping he hadn't been speaking too fast. "My name is Aadihr Lidos, by the way, and if you ever need to talk about anything my door is always open" Aadihr said, finally introducing himself.

The three of us head towards the Order's registration offices, and I listen to the conversation along the way. It's always the same everywhere—bureaucratic chaos with paperwork, forms, and the like. The best I can do for now is follow along without making a fuss. I'll figure out how to fill out the documents as we go.

I enter the office with them, and as the conversation continues, the topic turns to the ship I brought with me.

"Actually, this ship was custom-made by an inventor, and I paid for it with credits, so it's entirely mine. It's the Blue Hole Interceptor, a unique ship capable of traveling great distances. However, I'll also need to register it with the Jedi Order."

I have the official papers for the ship because the supplier gave them to me when I purchased it from a completely legitimate company. It was built by a renowned inventor as a personal custom order. I'm very proud of this ship, even though I didn't create it myself I have no skills in that area. I enlisted the help of a professional builder.

I approach the desk and sit down calmly to start filling out the forms. I focus on the task and leave no detail overlooked. However, since I don't have a permanent address yet, I use the address of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, as it's the only place where I can currently sleep, eat, and take care of my business properly.

I also handle the paperwork to register my ship with the Jedi Order. I provide the license plate number and the core model it uses. Since it's a unique model, I complete the corresponding forms. I hand over my ship's registry card so it can be scanned and linked to the vessel. I also present my purchase certificate to avoid any issues in the future.

"There we go. The paperwork is done I've filled out all the forms, and I've also registered the ship. Since I purchased it legally, it allows me to keep it here securely."

I then turn to the person accompanying me, who finally introduces themselves. It's true I haven't given them my name yet.

"My name is Arassyl. But if it's easier for you, you can simply call me by my twin sister's name, Lys. It's up to you."

Now, it's time to share some confidential information.

"I'd like to explain a few things regarding my story and some details about my twin sister and what she's done. I warn you it's serious. Do we have a place where we can discuss this privately? Thanks for your offer, i take it! "

Jack had just stayed quiet while the two yapped, not exactly a conversationlist, or great at it. But smiled and nodded, listening along until Arassyl was done filling the papers. This time, head movement slowed just a little, frowning in concern.

"Sure, we can use one of the meditation chambers to talk?" Addressing then of Aadihr with a perked set of eyebrows, "That alright with you?"

I take a moment to think about their proposal—it might be a good idea to move to a quieter and more suitable place for this kind of discussion. Now that my paperwork is in order and my ship is registered, all that's left is to officially join the Jedi Order and pledge my allegiance to a superior when the time comes.

"The meditation rooms are a good idea. I'll follow you because I'm completely lost."

Which is true. I already had trouble deciphering the map earlier, and the meditation rooms are another matter entirely. I didn't even see them on the map, so I wouldn't have the faintest idea where they're located.

Then, an idea occurs to me. I download the map onto my personal datapad. This will allow me to navigate without needing to look at the massive map at the entrance every time.

"I'd like to explain a few things regarding my story and some details about my twin sister and what she's done. I warn you it's serious. Do we have a place where we can discuss this privately? Thanks for your offer, i take it! "
The girl had completed the paperwork and had warned of what she wanted to share - it sounded urgent from her persistence. Aadihr assisted in returning to the forms as Jack responded:
"Sure, we can use one of the meditation chambers to talk?" Addressing then of Aadihr with a perked set of eyebrows, "That alright with you?"
"Absolutely" Aadihr replied, following alongside Jack to the chambers. He didn't hold any particular status with the temple but could at least hear what was troubling Arassyl and direct her to appropriate support resources.

Her comment about being called by her twin's name, Lys, set Aadihr ill at ease. The same sister who had 'done something serious'. He reflected Jack's concern, his eyebrows furrowed despite the lack of eyes under the blindfold.

"The meditation rooms are a good idea. I'll follow you because I'm completely lost."
"The temple here at Coruscant is especially large, but you'll get the layout soon enough," the Miraluka replied, reserving a meditation room at a panel beside the door and allowing the others to enter before kneeling in the meditation chamber.

"Now, we can talk freely. Your sister, did you say she was in trouble? Are you in any danger?" His primary concern was for her safety; he hoped that he misunderstood her implication of the sister's wrongdoing, but listened all the same.

Arassyl Nnyrht Arassyl Nnyrht | Jack Wright Jack Wright

I sit down on a comfortable pouf and pour myself a cup of tea, offering them one as well from my thermos so we can all be at ease during this discussion. Now that we can talk properly, I take a deep breath and begin, hoping they don't think I'm crazy.

As I step outside, my datapad displays a holographic projection of my twin sister, Lyssara Thrynn. It becomes clear that she is a Dark Lord, and her genetic data is 100% identical to mine. Yeah, this is definitely going to cause a lot of chaos in the Galactic Terminal; people are likely to confuse me with her, which is why I registered under her mirror name to avoid the confusion.

"Yes i am a refugee."

I am not responsible for her crimes, but she, on the other hand, most certainly is.

"How can I explain this phenomenon? I told you we're twin sisters, but in reality, it's far worse than that."

I sigh for a moment, taking the time to observe the intricate details of the Coruscant temple. It's my first time seeing it, and it's so grandiose, even the meditation chambers are designed with meticulous precision. To illustrate my point, I take out a small pocket mirror and show them my own reflection.

"This reflection this is my sister. We're connected. I should never have existed, but I do, through a strange twist of fate. One day, while she was working in her lab on Taspir III, she committed the unthinkable by creating an artificial simulation a digital double of herself. A version of her that was 100% light. Then, she began to hate me and talk to herself. That is, to me."

I pour myself another tea and continue my explanation. The further I delve into the story, the heavier my words feel.

"I was only meant to be a pale imitation of my creator, a reflection in a mirror. Then one day, for reasons I can't explain, as she was messing around with her lightsaber this one."

I activate the green blade of my lightsaber as a demonstration. I have her experience in battle, force, etc. Like a mirror that's why i am so strongh without no formation.

"I mimicked her movements. Our lightsabers started to touch from one dimension to the other, creating sparks, and this broke the machine, allowing me to cross over to the other side of the mirror she was looking into. My sister is a Dark Lord; I am a Jedi Knight. She is a Sith with a red blade, which is why my saber has a green blade. She created me as the image of everything she despises the most. I have to stop her; she will try to kill me. I shared the common experience, if she progrees i progrees too. "

"Yeah, that's why I say I'm a refugee. I escaped from her lab, taking advantage of the element of surprise. She wasn't expecting it, and honestly, neither was I. Neither of us. I represent the good that's left in her; she makes all the wrong choices… I feel what she feels. I am a part of her, just as she is of me."

This is a lot to take in. I pause, deactivating my green lightsaber and setting it on the ground, taking a moment to catch my breath before continuing.

"When I say we're connected, I mean to the extent that I can feel her emotions, infiltrate her mind, and experience flashes of her daily life. I suppose it must be the same for her. I want to break this connection so I am no longer associated with her."

Now they know the whole story. It's up to them to interpret it as they see fit, but I've said what I needed to say. Of course, I have more vital information to share, but it's best to start at the beginning to avoid overwhelming them.

"Are you understood the problem now?"

Seating himself cross-legged, Jack listened to Arassyl's tale of woe and circumstances, his brow deepening after every word of the fellow Knight's story. The revelations were sudden and gut-wrenching, as Jack felt his own jaw drop after a significant bombshell as to this young woman's origins; it was a wonder her signature felt so... Unique.

But perhaps, unique was massively underselling it.

In the midsts of his awe, the male Knight couldn't resist blurting out, "To create a reflection of one's self, all for the excuse of hate... And literal, this time."

His features became far more pensive, nodding slowly.

"I understand your dilemma. The name, Arassyl..." He approached the topic carefully, asking through a kind smile, "Does it have any significance, did she chose the name for you?"

And now he's asking me if my name has a particular meaning. He didn't run away, which is a good start. I'll be able to move forward with my story.

I take a brief pause, then I simply reply:

"This name, Arassyl Nnyrht, literally means Lyssara Thrynn in reverse. It's a mirror."

So you can't really say it's just random either. Everything was done to copy or imitate the original. She didn't truly choose it; it came naturally when I separated myself from the mirror.

"It's natural; it appeared naturally when I was able to free myself from that place. I even suspect that other horrible experiments are being carried out she loves breaking the laws of physics. She want became a Semi-God, we won't be able to stop her...
"

That laboratory, her headquarters, that place I want to see destroyed at all costs. It's going to be very complicated, given that it's adjacent to the territory of the new Diarchy.

"The problem is that this territory belongs to the Diarchy. Considering their recent declarations, getting anywhere near that laboratory won't be easy."

They've just declared war on the entire galaxy.

Unfortunately, Aadihr's gut feeling was right, and worse than he anticipated. It was not a twin sister, but instead an experiment. A reflection almost in the literal sense, from her description.

Aadihr picked up on the analogues she used, though through his Force-Sight he could not see the reflection of visible light through the mirror, nor the holographic projection. He could infer what she intended to show, however.

An equal and opposite reaction through the force, as light as the twin is dark.

"I understand your dilemma. The name, Arassyl..." He approached the topic carefully, asking through a kind smile, "Does it have any significance, did she chose the name for you?"

"Arassyl... Lyssara" Aadihr voiced as he pieces it together.

This was certainly above what Aadihr could help with directly. The temple could keep Arassyl safe regardless.

The problem is that this territory belongs to the Diarchy. Considering their recent declarations, getting anywhere near that laboratory won't be easy."
"Getting into the laboratory would be difficult with the current climate, certainly. Surely if Lyssara was going to lay a trap for you she would anticipate going back to the lab?" Aadihr worried the reflection would share the same idea, or that Arassyl was created as part of some sick scheme by the sith reflection. Preservation of Arassyl took priority in Aadihr's mental hierarchy than stopping Lyssara at this particular moment - missions into diarchy space and stopping a sith laboratory required preparation and certainly input and consent of the council.

"I understand your dilemma. There are certainly researchers here who would be interested in studying a solution to your issue. If all else fails. . ." Aadihr hesitated, knowing it was not his place to suggest or teach such a thing. "we have individuals who can assist you in severing yourself from the force."
It was a last-resort option and suggesting it turned his stomach, but it was an option.

"Jack, I think this is something we'll need to pass to the council I'll prepare a report for now. Arassyl - arranging something like that will take time and your escape surely must have been stressful. Please make yourself at home in the temple."

As Aadihr stood and made for the door, he turned with an eyebrow raised at Jack Wright Jack Wright in a half-joking accusatory smirk regarding his reputation. In a quieter voice, Aadihr said "Please give her a chance to ground herself before you start flirting with her, yes?"
Aadihr's smirk turned to a smile, the jab meant to be playful and not malicious, as he walked to the room's exit.

The problem with forced elimination is that it could also affect my double, and afterward, it would be impossible to locate her. This could risk turning into an endless chase because, through me, I can roughly know where she is, and vice versa.

"I need to think it over."

I thank the Jedi, who is about to leave, for listening to me. I feel a bit better having shared all of this with them. I told them the absolute truth, and that's also why I preferred to avoid police checks because I could have been mistaken for my double, and it could have caused quite a mess.

I didn't want to be associated with her in that way, so I preferred to play it discreet. Now that I've switched our names, it will be possible to differentiate us in the database, and I won't have any issues with the law later. They might try to use me to find my twin sister, attempting to extract information that could bother her or even stop her.

"Thank you for listening to me. That was very kind of you. If I can help you in return, please don't hesitate to ask I'd be happy to assist."

I also receive my new identity papers and my ship's license. I place them in a wallet, and I can finally navigate freely within the Alliance sector without being considered a criminal.

I put them away in my personal belongings.

"I won't forget. I plan to settle at the temple anyway I don't really have anywhere else to go."

The galaxy is vast, but for now, I need to properly recover from my long journey. It's been a rather difficult week. I'll have to commend the builder of my ship because its invisibility features work wonderfully.

I tilt my head to the side at the last remark my interlocutor seems to enjoy flirting. For now, I don't respond; I remain quietly seated on my meditation cushion.
