Saul quietly strode out of the elevator with dozens of other guests, his hood up as he shifted through the crowds and got in line at the ticket gates. When he heard about this solar event happening at the end of his last hitch, he decided he didn't want to miss it. The only problem was tickets to see this event front and center at the station were way more than he had bargained for. And so he had to go the alternative method of getting a ticket, hacking into the space elevator's database and putting his name on the guest list. It had been an easy enough task, the station's staff weren't expecting a penetration into their system and the defenses had been minimal. But the real test would be now.
Pulling the piece of paper that was his ticket confirmation when it was his turn, he quickly scanned it and hurried through. "Sir wait!" The cry made Saul shiver down his spine. Was his ticket no good, had he been found out? As he turned in the cry's direction, he saw a young human woman with dark brown braids and green eyes in the station's staff uniform run up to him as she said. "You almost forgot your wristband." The plucky girl quickly attached an electronic waistband to his wrist as she explained. "With this, you'll be able to come up and back down the space elevator whenever you want for today only. Now I hope you enjoy the..." It was at this moment that their eyes met and she saw his ocular implants fully. Her open mouth as she stood there speechless meant she had never seen someone like him before and was trying to recover when he yanked his hand back and quickly melted into the crowds heading to and from the viewing hall, leaving the attendant to wonder what she had just witnessed.
Settling into one of the hall's many Bantha Leather seats, Saul sighed as he tried to recover from that awkward interaction. It wasn't the first time someone had looked at him like he was something from another world and wouldn't be the last. The android thought he would have gotten used to it by now but sometimes, it just reinforced how alone he really was. Sighing, he pushed his negative thoughts aside and focused on the lightshow on through the window displays, marveling as he saw something that he might never see again, the final display of a sun before it said farewell to the galaxy at large. It almost made Saul want to wave goodbye back.
