- Unstable Plasma: The ammo was redesigned with the modern conflict in mind. While the blaster on the surface looks like a normal blaster rifle, the shots it fires have a tendency to explode upon impact with material it can't pierce through.
- Field Tested: The weapon is designed with war in mind, every part having come from weapons already within the GA's arsenal, and thus parts are plentiful.
- Modular AF: The Talon was designed to act as the GADF's new standard issue rifle, taking what Si Tech had learned since the release of the Claw, and upgrading it to make it lighter and more customizable. While not as powerful as it's older brother at the cost of size, the Talon trades off pure stopping power for customizability, and mission adaptability.
- Semi Or Full: Designed with the changes in battlefield conditions in mind, the Talon is capable of both full auto, and semi auto.
- Ion, Of Course: Just like it's contemporaries, the Talon comes with an ion function, allowing for stun strikes, and quick disabling of technology.
- Hits Hard, Maybe Not Hard Enough: Unlike the Claw, the Talon was not designed as the most effective heavy hitter. Heavy Armor or Vehicles are gonna laugh at this weapon.
- Not Standard Issue: The weapon's design offers many opportunities for customization. If you decide to throw on your own personal stock or attachment, it's up to you to keep it repaired.
- The S Word: Much like it's older brother, the Talon is loud. Stealth isn't exactly an option for this weapon.
Designed as a new standard for the GADF, the Talon was designed as a lighter alternative to the Claw, built for modularity for any mission. While the trade off was fire power, the Talon acts as the perfect weapon for the GADF's varied ability to respond to any situation.
